Death Parade 1x08 "Death Rally" - reaction & review

Like for real, it started to hit me later in the ep that they might both be killers, but either way I knew they'd do something where nothing was that simple, you know? Also our girl getting the memories is an interesting development. I couldn't imagine at this point where things were headed but dang, this was an intense arc!!! Great stuff! Enjoy! ~ MH

OMG I know, this was so messed up! Wow good guess on them both being killers! Yeah they're both respectable in a way at this point but Tatsumi was so young and had to shoulder so much, it almost makes him even more respectable! Yeah I loved the pacing and how we got the reveals! Omg same, like honestly I'd love to sit here and say I'd remember right from wrong and take the high road and all that but.....in the moment I don't know what I'd do. I'd def WANT to kill the person who did it! OMG the after credits scene!!!! The next one BROKE me :O This is another awful-to-judge one that makes me glad I'm not an arbiter lol!

Oof that's a pretty dark theory, honestly it's not terribly far off in terms of being messed up lol! Yeah people and emotions are what they are no matter what I guess!

The second Decim mentioned killers I knew that both of these guys were gonna be killers. Both of the guys are pretty respectable too which adds to the difficulty of hating either one of them...But if anything I respect Tatsumi more because he chose to be a brother and a parent to his sister and sacrificed his education to take care of her I like that the pacing was slow for this game and episode in general too because it allowed the characters to get fleshed out more than they usually do. I can't even imagine the pain and anger that both guys are going through...I dunno what I'd do if my partner got murdered or my little sister that I raised got beaten up that badly and raped. The realistic aspects of this series is just great. The post credits scene tho....That shit literally sent chills down my fucking spine and I wasn't prepared to see that at all....Next episode is going to be DARK AS HELL and will definitely be the most intense one yet.....I dunno how our girl and Decim are gonna judge this one.

2024-11-15 14:27:45 +0000 UTCOkay, you’ve been waiting for the VA resume so here it comes: Tatsumi: Leorio (Hunter x Hunter), Esidisi (JoJo Part 2), Hannes (Attack on Titan) Shimada: Rohan (JoJo Part 4), Getou (Jujutsu Kaisen), Giyuu - Water Hashira (Demon Slayer), Reigen (Mob Psycho 100), Diablo (Slime) It seems that when the situation involves killers there’s usually a specialized arbiter that does the job. It according to Nona, everyone is busy. Of course we spend most of each episode trying to make the pieces fit. I haven’t looked ahead on Episode 9 so this is a blind comment on my part. I kinda knew it looked too obvious for Tatsumi to be the killer but revealing the bloody knife seemed suspicious as well). Here’s my incredibly dark thought that o came up with: Tatsumi got overzealous and went too far, beating up Sae during an investigation - and Shimada killed his wife in revenge. I don’t think that’s probably accurate but let’s just throw a dart at the wall and see what sticks. Hmm… also the assistant is allowed to receive memories now, I thought they were specific for arbiters. Interesting don’t you think? There is one thing to remember, killer or not, they keep saying the same thing: people are people. These.emotions are gonna be the end of all of us aren’t they. XD
