The Legend of Vox Machina 3x07 "Cloak and Dagger" - reaction & review
Added 2024-11-14 11:34:34 +0000 UTCHey everyone! Here it is - my reaction to season 3 ep 7 of Vox Machina!!! OH DANG GUYS!!! This better not actually be happening! We all knew that this was a trap, but to think of how badly it ended up going.....I was just in total denial at this point :O Not to mention Percy really has grown so much!!! And how I so desperately wish now that he and Vex could've sorted things out fully before this fight!!! I was totally Queen of Denial here....let's see if it pays off??? Can't wait to see more! Enjoy! ~ MH

LOL!!! I was close! It does give some understanding about where she's coming from. Hahaha yeah the fact that they think they're fooling anyone is hilarious! Ohhhhh interesting, thanks for clarifying about the blood! Ugh, I'm just so distraught about Percy, I still can't believe he's gone!!!

Now that you look back on it, there’s a lot of flags being shown in this episode but the biggest one is when Percy comes clean and Vex doesn’t accept him. As for worrying about what the others will think - apparently you two haven’t been well, what’s the word… discreet lately? I should turn back and say there does seem to be something in Pike’s blood, but that has nothing to do with the situation at the end of the episode - apparently it’s a counter agent to the Delirium Gas Ripley concocted. (Also what is it with you and gaseous scenarios this week? XD) Percy decided to try to be the better man, he took a chance on someone and the dude clearly didn’t roll in his favor. I could say more, but I think I need to move on… sometimes things in life just don’t go the way you want them to. We can talk about it more after the next episode. The brutal thing is it just happened so quick though…

2024-11-14 17:48:43 +0000 UTCSo right away this episode is really interesting getting to see a bit of Ripley’s backstory, which there is a graphic novel about her but I don’t know if her story is covered in it or not. We also get a mention of The Assembly in her flashback, which I won’t elaborate on but is very important for future CR stuff. The residuem that was mentioned is native to Whitestone, we see it a bit in season one. It’s made by refining the whitestone for which the town is named I believe and is a bit of a magic amplifier. And once again we have a pretty big change, VM did chase Ripley to this island, but it was to get her Vestige before fighting Thordak. But I believe they just fought her and her group in their camp, she didn’t have this whole massive factory. And Percy did die. Thank god they had some comedy in here like Pike’s “too quiet” thing and Grog’s fear being a library with no picture books 🤣
