Hey everyone! Here it is - my reaction to season 3 ep 6 of Vox Machina!!! WHOA!!! You guys, I knew the halfway point would be intense, but wow....Whitestone got taken out :(((( So what is actually going on with this whole betrayal?! Cause I feel like it's Raishan!! Dang it, just when things were looking up for Percy! At least we got to spend some time at Scanlan's Chateau! WOW what a magical place!! Can't wait to see more! Enjoy! ~ MH

2024-11-16 14:50:47 +0000 UTCOkay it was cute at first, still is doing get me wrong but now I think they’re doing a bit too much with the shipping stuff. 😅 I think Scanlan is so sweet for caring so much for his daughter. I hope he can reconcile with her. Oh boy now Raishan isn’t even an aligned “ally” anymore. Oof idk if that was the best call right now. I get it but all the help they can receive seems like a necessary at this point with more dragons coming along. 🐉

2024-11-09 12:35:08 +0000 UTCHi Hime :) And here we go, another great moment that we can thank the awesome Laura Bailey and her sense of timing. In the campaign, Vax and Percy share a bathtub, that didn't stop Laura from adding once Vax left that she comes out of the water, to which some people replied "what size is this bathtub" lol. How can you not love Laura seeing how much fun she has in this game ? But to talk about the content of the episodes, the 5th remains mainly just a big monster fight which is very enjoyable, in addition to seeing Kima at work and Allura saying everything there is about Kima and ending with "the woman I love" was so good too. For the 6, yeah the "Chateau Shorthalt" is good to relax and brings some fresh air before what follows... The attack on Whitestone by the offspring of Thordak thanks to Ripley. The poor inhabitants really can't get a break. Also, get ready for the next two episodes, you know how the show love to hurt us.

Chateau Shorthalt seems pretty cool at first, well, until you actually start thinking about how Scanlan might’ve been using it before inviting his friends in… Speaking of which, they only serve chicken? Is this a souped up version of KFC? Scanlan’s a little too preoccupied because as Pike says, he actually is thinking about someone else for a change - and it would seem that he actually made an impression even though he didn’t feel like it. I want it on record as soon as Vax showed up and Percy looked nervous in the hot spring that I called Vex being under the water. I was quite proud of myself. Well, at least someone seems to be having a good time… We can’t have nice things though, as right after Scanlan ditched them they saw Whitestone getting razed. I’ll just clear up any lingering confusion: Thordak in the end of the last episode said he needed to send his hatchlings out so they could destroy for their own sake, and Ripley said “I know the perfect spot.” Raishan of course, is the easy target here, and their distrust of her isn’t unwarranted, but in this case, they might’ve just threw away any advantage they had knowing the upcoming plans. Percy’s going to table that and go after Ripley though - seems like everyone’s personal issues keep interfering with the overall goal doesn’t it? If only people would actually say what they’re actually thinking. That being said, this is what I’m thinking: you are not ready for next week. Can’t say anymore. 👀

2024-11-07 23:40:59 +0000 UTCThe bath scene was what everyone who watched the campaign was looking forward to from the moment this show started, it’s LEGENDARY. Absolutely go watch how it happened if you haven’t already, the whole cast was dying 🤣 The chateau was a spell Scanlan got roughly around this time, I’m not certain on why they made it into the key we picked up from Umbrasyl last season. Maybe to underplay Scanlan’s potential, cause at this point he’s one of the strongest members with the spells he has access to. And the servants only serving chicken was just a random thing he threw out that just kinda stuck I believe lol. I’m loving what they’ve done with Scanlan in this. Everything with Kaylie was great in the game but they’ve made it even more compelling here. And here’s a HUGE deviation from the campaign. I can’t remember if I mentioned it before but I’m pretty sure VM didn’t even know about Thordak’s eggs, much less having to actually fight them. I’m guessing they wanted a way to keep the tension going throughout and of course keep it interesting for us who watched the game. So excited for next week, this train doesn’t stop!
