Cool about the VAs! Also good call that we don't start normally here. I do like that our girl seems to be settling in. Yeah they never explicitly said who the girl was throughout the ep. There's so much that Decim doesn't say in his explanation that you can try and read the lines between. It would make sense if the games were chosen based on the personalities! The next one exemplifies that a lot. Haha I doubt I could guess on some of these twists/turns!

That’s the first indication this was different. It seems some time has passed as the assistant is a lot more comfortable in her role now than she was initially. It feels like she’s kind of the representative for the viewing audience at this point, based on the commentary she’s providing. Remember to always ask what the show appears to be telling you, and what it’s not. In this case, there was a huge implication that the girl was Chisato but nobody ever said that. There’s another explanation: “upon their deaths people are sent to either Heaven or Hell.” No where in Decim’s explanation did it ever say, you are being measured against the other person for the purposes of deciding who goes where. Now that I think about it I wonder if the game is chosen based on the personalities of the players. Since we saw two people who were ultimately good natured acting as such - for example, when he put his hand in her heart bowl he had to shake off what he was thinking because his base instinct was trying to take over and he’s “stop thinking like that!” (Believe me this happens to guys a lot more commonly than you’d realize.), their ultimate verdict meant they’d both get a second chance in another life. Of course, now that we’ve seen this is possible, the opposite is also true as well… it doesn’t mean any soul has to be preserved. Maybe you should start trying to guess what the outcome is before the show delivers its verdict. It might be a fun little mini game. Of course we still don’t really know what all “this” is either….
