Hey everyone! Here it is, my review of Chapters 13 - 16 of Jojolion!! WOW you guys!! We are getting even more bizarre this time around! We wrap up a very fun and interesting Stand fight, get some WILD new info about a character we thought we knew, and we get to know a new version of our dear sweet Holly....gotta say, she's pretty different from her Part 3 counterpart!!! What does this all mean?! Why are the Higashikatas and Joestars at odds / keeping secrets this way?! Guess we'll find out!!! Enjoy!! ~ MH

OMG I miss him too!! Sighs....! Isn't Holly's design amazing? I can actually totally see the Lisa Lisa classic beauty there! I know, like I legit can't tell how much is an act and how much is real. Isn't that stand perfect for Yasuho!! It would be a pretty handy one to have actually!! Isn't that wild that Joseph is part Japanese now??? I'm not sure about George and Elizabeth but there will be more info on some family members coming soon....I just read the next few chapters :O I hope Holly hugs him!!! In fact I hope he gets lots of hugs!!!!!! LOL these Joestar kids are popping up everywhere! Oof I know, I can't picture Holly with someone like the Nijimura dad before he flesh budded out. He was awful!! Then again, ghost dad wasn't all that great either, so I'm assuming these dads are all just better people this time around lol? OMG for real, my head's been spinning over this family tree stuff! And it gets so much more intense, trust me! Thank you so much!! And yay Leonie!!!!!

2024-10-22 15:16:16 +0000 UTCHey Leonie!!! Yay! And another great edit by you! You're so right about Yasuho having a passive and not a combat Stand!! That's kind of a first for the main Jobro anyway. I guess Moody Blues was kinda passive too, but that was an ensemble cast so it didn't stand out like the main Jobro would! You're so right about Born This Way and I totally forgot to mention Highway Star in my review lol! It's so cool to watch Josuke figure out how it works so he can defeat it! OMG didn't you just wanna hug him!!!!!!! You're so right about Holly too, she needs to be rescued by her kids in every universe! I also think you're absolutely right about how the design reflects how much she has to do with the main plot/destiny, and I actually stole that for my next review haha, hope you don't mind! LOL she is pretty perverted though, she must get that from her dad :P I'm so curious about this whole divided body part mystery!!! Hahah I mean....my opinion kinda did and didn't change about Joshu :P Honestly he was still ticking me off LOL but some of it wasn't bad!!!!!!!!

I kinda appreciate the family already, I'm just not sure what to make of them all the time haha! I could definitely see them growing on me if things go right!

I can see touches of the quirky and bubbly Holly in this universes Holly just Jojofied. I’m not 100% what to make of her but she definitely has eccentricity about her that resembles people we know. She definitely has an oddity but I can’t tell how much if it is her and how much is an act. I feel like she’s playing with Yasuho a bit. Or is she like this and there’s no actual front. She also gives me an aura similar to Lisa Lisa underneath all that crazy. I’m not quite sure how to explain it but she’s beautiful. 🩷 OMG I love Yasuho’s stand! It’s so telling of her and Josuke’s dynamic. She’s there with him at the start and helping him get to his destination as best she can. That’s a really cool stand! And so accurate to because I always have it tell me the shortest route but it gives me these long detours. 🙄 It’s so fun thinking about this Joesph actually having grown up Japanese. Now I’m not sure if we’ll get any detail on Elizabeth or George but right now I’ll just assume the rest lead a pretty happy and none bizarre life here. 😌 Sigh I want Holly to give him a hug by the end of the part. He just wants someone to love him. 🥺 OMG another one!! The disguising as a maid to infiltrate the family may not be a reach the more I think about it but we’ll see. Her not being on the family tree could mean anything. Now I know everything in this universe isn’t cut and paste but I can’t help but imagine described Sr. Nijimura with Holly. Likely he was a nicer guy but you never know. Man can’t Araki just let my mind rest by pairing some of the nicest people with other absolutely delightful people so it doesn’t keep me up at night? 😭 Great reaction as always! Leonie xx

We found out some exciting things about the characters again and also that Born this way belongs to Kei and Paisley Park to Yasuho. Of course, it was clear that Yasuho would get a stand at some point, because she is the main jobro for this part. And it's the first time a main jobro has had a passive stand. Otherwise, they'd all have Stands that could be used to fight well. But Yasuo can actually support Josuke very well passively, which is really varied. Born This Way is once again a combination of many existing stans, such as White Album, Highway Star or even Black Sabbath. It's a long-range stand that actually works semi-automatically, a bit like Sheer Heart Attack. Kei doesn't always have to be nearby to control it. Nevertheless, it's a very interesting concept that combines many elements and is also very difficult to defeat. You first have to find out exactly how it works. And Josuke did a phenomenal job of figuring that out. I also found it really sad when Josuke looked at the family photos of the other people and then wondered whether other people were even looking for him or worried about him at all. It really hurt my heart to see him crying. He really is a Jojo who is very emotional and you immediately feel sorry for him. It was also very interesting to meet Holly Joestar from the new Universe and she is very different from the Holly we know. But they definitely share that they are both sick and need to be rescued by their children. I find the design of the Holly from this part really interesting. She really looks like a Jojo character this time. Because Holly Kujo from Part 3 looked more like a normal woman. And I think she should reflect that, that she doesn't have much to do with the Joestar destiny. But of course I didn't expect Holly from Part 8 to be so “perverted” either. And poor Yasuho, she always has to put up with things like this. And unfortunately it won't be the last time she gets into such critical situations. Of course, the most interesting thing in this part was that we found out that Kei is Kira's little sister and is probably also connected to Josuke at the end. And of course the final scene, where Josuke has two tongues and two different eye colors, is also a plot that we didn't see coming, which actually raises even more questions about how Josuke is now connected to Kira. But that's a mystery that will take a while to be solved. The next batch will unfortunately deal a bit more with Joshu, even if we don't necessarily want it to. But maybe your opinion about him will change?

That because I already knew about Yasuho stand hehe. I knew that you would love it. With the fact that Josuke have two set of tongue and eyes merged together, the "four balls" seem to be less "bizarre" now, but you will soon understand how it happened. The Higashitaka family is... pretty wild, but let give time to them, maybe you will start to appreciate them, who knows.
