Hey everyone! Here it is, my review of Chapters 1 - 4 of Jojolion!! WOW guys, they waste no time really getting things moving in this one, holy cow! What are we to make of all this?! First off, there's a MASSIVE time jump with pretty much no explanation off the bat of how our new Jojo is, well, a Jojo. Then we find out he washed up in Morioh with no clue who he is, and a few extra, erm, appendages. Then we find out he's got a sick Stand!!! Not to mention lots of name dropping of familiar people all around!!!! What a mystery!!!! Can't wait to share more with you! Enjoy!! ~ MH

OMG right?! Didn't Leonie do an amazing job putting this all together?! Lol I know right?! Like there's a LOT just in these 4 chapters! Yeah she's definitely got some speaking-for-the-audience vibes like Koichi. I hear you, we know there's probably more to it but you can't blame Yasuho one bit! True, I often wonder why she even still speaks to Joshu lol, she's just too good-natured I guess! LOL a Jojo slice of life is equal parts slice of death :P Hahaha! But yeah, I can totally see that with the tone. Omg I'm so happy you also enjoy the OG look of the Stands! I was excited too! I'm so happy you're enjoying it so far, it's so full of twists and turns already right?! I'm a few chapters ahead and it gets even crazier somehow!!! I'm so happy you like my reaction, thank you! I agree, this was a really fun and engaging way to introduce a new Jojo, it gets you hooked right from the start! You were so right, you know how I love my Morioh haha! It's so crazy to see someone with a Jo in their name AND a Higashikata act so vile! Ick!! It sounds like he's gonna get a lot worse :/ Awwww I can totally see some Suzi vibes, and even a little Trish where I'm at currently in the story! It's such a crazy twist to try and establish Josuke as Kira in general, and yeah, even moreso that this character is such a puppy dog lol, it's just hard to imagine. The Easter eggs in the apt were so fun! I was totally shocked too, and honestly thought Araki was pulling the trigger on making our protagonist a (former) serial killer :O Exactly, you can really tell the difference in genres here! I know haha, sadly I think the next batch will end in the middle of a fight too :P I'm so happy you're loving my reactions!! And I'm so grateful again for your edits!!! See you in the next one ^_^

2024-09-28 16:11:56 +0000 UTCI love the sick intro & outro. It makes it feel like Jojo. Woah! This went in the opposite direction, for sure. Our Jojo is a Kira! And nicknamed after a dog? There's a lot to retain already. It's going to take at least a week to soak in. I'm reminded of Koichi with Yasuho. The way the narrators are, I'm in the beginning. She seems super relatable already. She's us, reacting to everything like us and asking the real questions. Now I know there's more to this story. It's looking pretty good that our Jojo isn't the one committing whatever the heck all that was. However, if I were Yasuho, I wouldn't think twice about whether the dude I just met was bad news and would go on with my life. This is why likely why Joshu can't take a hint. But I guess that sympathetic nature also resembles Koichi’s a bit, especially when ultimately forgiving Yukako. This is definitely a slice of life (or Jojo's version of a slice of life)…like Morioh. 🤷♂️ I'm also really glad to see the more robotic humanoid style stands come back. I'm also a sucker for them. So far I'm liking it. I love the eerieness of it all. I love the scattered homage tidbits. This is going to be so much fun. It already is! This this time where starting it off with a Kira! Its so wild. Great reaction as always! I can't wait for more! And great job Leonie! Keep up the great work. *to be continued ➡️

I'm really proud of myself that I was able to turn it out the way I wanted. I was so looking forward to this video as you finally read one of the underrated Jojo parts that more people really should read. And I'm so happy to see that you're really enjoying it so far. Our new Jojo has, I think, the best first appearance in all of Jojo, in my opinion. It's very mysterious, very revealing, but also super interesting. And the story of Part 8 immediately draws me in because you just don't know what's really going on. The fact that JoJolion is set in Morioh is also really nice. That's why I knew you'd probably really like this part, since Part 4 is your safe space and Morioh is part of it. I totally agree with you that Joshu is one of the most disgusting Jojo characters we have so far. The fact that he has Higashikata as his last name makes it even worse, because you actually associate something positive with this surname and now you get such a negative aspect with it. And I'm telling you, he's going to be even worse as a character. So bad that you want to break his neck with your own hands. At least that's how I felt. Yasuho is one of the best female characters we have in Jojo, in my opinion. She's super cute, has some aspects of Suzy Q, but also reminds me a lot of Trish at times. You'll find out why later though. Her relationship with Josuke is really super cute. They are one of the best Jojo couples we have. The fact that Josuke is supposed to be Kira is really surprising and also kind of creepy, because you associate Kira with a serial killer who kills women because of their hands and when you look at Josuke, you can't imagine that he's supposed to be the same. But there are many indications that it could be him when we look into his apartment. The Mona Lisa, the many hands in his apartment and also the many cut fingernails give us important clues that he could be kira. Although we don't want to admit it, because our Josuke is like a cute little puppy that you want to protect. The photo album just made everything worse. I was so shocked when I read it. I was so shocked when I read that. I thought to myself, what the hell did Araki think of to include that in the part. But now you realize that you're reading a seinen manga instead of a shonen manga. Araki had always included some things in Jojo because they were already a bit a bit sexual. But he never took it to the extreme. But now that he can write Seinen manga, he includes it wherever he can. It's really criminal of you to leave this stand battle unfinished in this video. That's why I'm already looking forward to the next one and seeing what happens next. Although I know what happens next, because I've read the part. But your reactions are just too funny.

2024-09-28 02:25:46 +0000 UTCI'm really glad we got to return to Morioh for this part. Morioh is based on Araki's home town of Sendai, so Part 8 was like returning home after a long trip. Also, the "Great Earthquake" is a reference to the 3/11 earthquake which affected the real Sendai.
