Hey everyone! Here it is - my reaction to episode 21 of The Apothecary Diaries! OMG!!! I am NOT complaining about the Lihaku scene here whatsoever! But I do feel better for the mental anguish it temporarily caused Jinshi!!! I really thought my man was gonna pass out!!! It was interesting learning more about Pairin and just how deep her connection to Maomao is. And I have to say, Lihaku is actually more honorable than I gave him credit for! I hope it all works out between them! Great ep! Enjoy! ~ MH

I love watching Maomao in action!! Hahaha the inspection scene was something...!!! OMG they should totally do that effect here too! Omg I know, like phrasing is EVERYTHING my girl! Yeah I can totally see wanting to do something like that on his own. It's cool that Pairin does get a say here, I'm sure that wasn't the norm. Hahahaha I really wish I hadn't googled anything :O Can't wait to see things unfold about Lakan!!

First, we should probably discuss Maomao’s insistence on the pharmacy being clean because of the damage it could do to certain medicine in the wrong environment. Also, it’s fairly trope-iCal by now, but it’s still fun watching her take just a couple bits of information and put the solution together when it comes to glue. She’s fairly annoyed when Lihaku called on her, because she thinks this is trivial, but he was dead serious, which she realized after talking to him. And the uh, physical examination. By the way, they don’t do it on this show but you know how Oshi No Ko likes to take quotes and paste them into arrows and literally hit the character the words are hurting? I could actually see that happening to both Lihaku and Jinshi in here. Maomao could’ve saved so much hilarity if she had just said what she was doing the examination for up front, but that’s not quite as fun, is it? Notice how Jinshi was a whole lot less stressed after he knew the specifics. Lihaku is also a stand up guy, he doesn’t want a hand out, although he certainly could use it. Most guys want the ability to be able to be self sufficient, it’s quite a blow when you can’t cover everything you need for yourself anyone else you care for. It also seems Jinshi might’ve been testing him as well. Pairin’s feelings do actually have some say here, unlike most cases in this time period, but unfortunately, feelings don’t resolve every issue straight up. I’d also advise you maybe not to google some of the things this show is talking about for your own sanity…? As for what people thought initially, and what Lakan’s motives are, sorry, this isn’t the time yet.
