Hey everyone! Here it is - my reaction to the twelfth/sixth OVA in this long-awaited series!!! Now I'm starting to feel some of those changes, although to be honest, most of this was pretty much how I remembered right up until the Shining bar scene lol! One thing I do incredibly miss though, was the amazing comedy between Enya and Polnareff as he accidentally twists the knife about the whole J Geil thing hahah! And the scenes with her attacking Polnareff felt much more sinister than just kinda wacky/bizarre, which is how they felt in the anime. I had no idea they were gonna make this a two-parter! I guess we know where we're ending now!!! Good stuff - enjoy! ~ MH

AWWWWW you think they became chicken nuggets?!?!?! :O Hahaha I really spoke too soon on the dog thing. I kinda like building up to Enya too, but it's a cool addition to have her changing shape/age. I kinda though the hotel looked nicer in the anime, but I couldn't remember! They went so dark and eerie on everything here lol. Ooohhh good call, how will that fit in with Qtaro?! Maybe it won't. Yeah Polnareff is sadly lacking in toilet humor this time around!!! HAHAHA yeah this party really died :P

Melissa: “We haven’t seen any (side character) dog deaths in the OVAs, have we?” Ten seconds later, one shows up: Me: You kinda brought this one on yourself you know. 🤷♂️ There are a few notable differences here, the most obvious being Enya / Enyaba’s shape shifting. I do think the anime made a better decision to keep her ability hidden. The hotel is much more well lighted and welcoming in this installment, in the anime it was dark and a bit eerie. Also the town here is on a plain, in the anime it was at the bottom of a valley. When Joseph signs the register and Enyaba slips up, Polnareff does go looney tunes face - but someone also mentions Jotaro’s name, so I’m not sure how that’s going to work when he has to play detective next week. My guess is we’re just going to continue with this arc and stop after it. By the way am I the only one who’s noticed we haven’t really done the “toilet humor” running gag with Polnareff at all? I think I’ll wrap up here for the night. This place really feels dead. /ducks
