[ Announcement ] We're highly considering making unofficial fan English subtitles of "Miss King" and "Strobe Edge" in the 2025 Fall Season

We're currently halfway with the episodes of our releases of the unofficial fan English subtitles of Tai Ari Deshita (2023) JDrama. If our release schedule is consistent, we'll be finished with Tai Ari Deshita (2023) JDrama by 1st to 3rd week of September 2025. Hopefully by then, we would have released all our unofficial fan English subtitles to the public. This is also the reason why we've been eyeing for awhile what series titles we should pick for the upcoming next 2025 fall season, at least what have been announced so far.

Let's face it. Newer titles while they are being released for the first time, have more hype and buzz compared to older past titles. Not to mention, it gives the team behind the unofficial fan English subtitles more motivation to finish the titles while they are coming out weekly. (Like really, we're currently working on GeGeGe no Kitaro 2007 ep59 right now. If you noticed, we started working on it since the group's first years and haven't finished it for almost two decades now haha)

Among the titles next 2025 fall season, we are highly considering on is "MISS KING". It is an Abema Original and starts on September 29, 2025. Though our translator said to the team that he would have a hard time with Shogi terms and jargons. As he puts it, he suddenly had "war flashbacks" working on the Sangatsu no Lion duology movies LOL That is why having Japanese captions is rather essential. Upon observing though, during Spring 2025, Abema Original's "Shinuhodo Aishite" had included Japanese captions. And as Queen amrayu puts it, it's a hit and miss if Abema Original will have Japanese captions. So in the end, we'll just decide if we'll work on making unofficial fan English subtitles of "MISS KING" when it starts airing.

Second title is a relatively isolated case. It is "Strobe Edge", at least its first season, for now. It's going to be released from Wowow starting October 31, 2025. Since this is a Sakisaka Io shoujo manga adaptation, we could now hear our translator kind of not sure about this because it's a shoujo and a romance title (which he avoids if he can LMAO). But what made us pick this is because the team behind the production is the team behind Ao Haru Ride (2023) JDrama. Our translator liked Wowow's production of Ao Haru Ride (2023) back when it was airing. You might ask, but our colleague and good friend, Oshiroen, already picked the "Strobe Edge" JDrama for the next 2025 fall season. Truth be told, it was actually them who convinced we should pick it haha Pass the baton in other words haha

Again, both titles are still JDrama series next 2025 fall season we are highly considering making unofficial fan English subtitles. Things may happen that we may discontinue them or not pick both of them at all.
