Bad Batch 3x13 "Into the Breach" reaction & review

Google Drive Link posted below description!

Hey everyone! Here it is - my reaction to Bad Batch, season 3 episode 13! Oh dang guys, we've got a lot going on here with both sides of our crew plotting an escape!!! I loved watching our Batch bros think their way out of every snag in the plan - you can tell Rampart's not used to that kind of creative thinking lol. And meanwhile Omega is forming her own little Baby Batch crew!!! I'm so here for it! This one at least left me hopeful! Can't wait for more! Great ep! Enjoy! ~ MH

Oh yeah, she's sharp as a tack!! You might be right about Emerie, I couldn't really tell. Lol just another day in the life for the dads huh! I can see the C-3P0 vibes a bit, maybe if 3P0 was more full of himself haha. Yeah they're usually not all that tight on security, Tantiss is another story though. HAHAHAHA I did in fact quote Vader there :P

Right?! I'll take it! I LOVE Omega!!!!!!!!!!

It really does, and I'm glad they have someone like Omega now! I couldn't agree more about Echo!! Rampart is a pain lol but he is so entertaining!!! That's awesome about the VA, how cool that he got that into the role and fans' perception of it! That's true, technically Scolder is onto something, but yeah, Hemlock was the one who wanted them all together in the first place, good call! OMG, I really couldn't agree more about Omega's boss moment! Everything she's been through up to this point is summed up in that one scene! She did come here by choice, and her saving them is a FACT not a possibility just like you said!!! Yeah Echo is really showing off his skills here! Awww hahah Wrecker did look cute with his tiny little hat lol! I know, you can really see Crosshair's confidence/loyalty/etc. here. Talk about the nick of time! What an ending lol!

Finally we’re leaving on a good note. That went smoothly 👌 I love Omega taking initiative with the kids. She’s so strong, so sweet! ❤️

Great thoughts on the armour of the squad changing throughout. This is the final iteration, and even Echo shunning his armour and switching to TK trooper armour, tells us that the clone troopers they were, are gone, but this family protects its own. Just a shame Tech isn't completing it.

Omega might seem a little passive when she first wakes up, but just like when she was here before, she’s constantly analyzing where everything is and how it works. As for her actions with Emerie, I don’t think she left the tools unobserved intentionally - but I’m also of a mind that she was in no hurry to find where the missing one went either. In other words, she probably knows exactly what happened and just decided to mind her own business. As for her “dads,” they’re just out here doing the normal chaotic plan that needs everything to click somehow even though nothing about it should. It occurred to me Rampart is like the Imperial version of C-3PO and always thinking the worst is about to happen - but he still seems to like throwing his weight around. Good thing for us the Empire isn’t as big on paperwork, although you can see the difference in security measures as anyone boarding the science vessel en route to Tantiss gets individually scanned, including Stormtroopers - maybe if someone in charge of security was a little more thorough like that the Empire wouldn’t keep getting surprised. Did you just pull out Vader quotes today about altering plans? I swear, this deal is getting worse all the time… 👀

Yknow...I love how much story the armor change tells in this show. In S1, obviously the armor hasn't changed since the clone wars. Telling us they are still the same old squad we first experienced. Only this time they have to adapt and learn how live a completely different life that they ain't experienced before. S2, Armor changes. Telling us how they've finally adapted to their new life outside of war and aligned to no one but eachother. Showing growth of their personality and bond outside of just being a soldier. Becoming more than that, becoming different/new version of themselves, a true family. But they still haven't fully found their new beginning, they're still hanging on to their old identity. S3, just in this episode. They completely erased everything off their armor. Made it a blank slate. To me, this told me they are finally letting go of their old selves, who they once were. Now, they're fully embracing the person they changed and grown into. At least, that's what I get from their armor change lol. I also loved Hunters taking no crap dad moment at the end their and just went boss mode. Can't wait to experience the finale with you, hope you enjoy it.

The first scene where Omega meets the kids sets it up beautifully for the following scene with her and them. We can see how dejected they are. Omega though will help them. Echo getting the hero welcome this episode and he shows why in these episodes, that its justified. :) Haha Rampart may be a snake, but he's fun these episodes. His voice actor Noshir Dalal has a great sense of humour and was on the Star Wars reddit pages going into these last episodes when his character came back, and had a lot of fun engaging with the fans who liked seeing Rampart back. Dr. Scalder giving Emerie grief about having Omega in with the kids is perfectly valid from her POV as we know the trouble Omega can cause; but she should take it up with Hemlock - it was his decision to have them all together, not Emerie's. Now, onto my favourite Omega moment in the whole series, when her boss music starts up and she tells the kids they are getting the hell out of there. We can see the culmination in her training now and growth. Remember she came here by choice, to get the clones and now these kids out; she isn't going to hang around waiting on her brothers rescuing them, she's done this twice before. What I love about that scene is that she isn't saying she'll possibly get them out, she WILL get them out. Its not arrogance, its certainty! Her spirit is too radiant to be caged by the imps and she is giving those kids something they haven't had here before - hope! God I love that scene! :D Echo is great in these episodes. A lot felt he didn't get enough time to shine by himself in the Bad Batch, but he's shining here, showing us exactly why he was an ARC Trooper in the war; he can do stuff like getting on board that vessel without detection, without any effort. Ha, Wrecker looked cute with that tiny imperial cap on his head - he should have kept it! :D Crosshair telling Rampart to relax and that Echo has got this, is a nice touch. Crosshair knows what Echo can do, but its great hearing that confidence in him come from Crosshair, since he's been away from the squad for a couple of years. And he comes through in the nick of time, just as Hunter docks milliseconds before the science vessel jumps. Here we go!!!
