Hey everyone! Here it is - my reaction to Bad Batch, season 3 episode 11! OMG!!! Not Pabu :(((((( Of course Omega would give herself up so that the Empire stopped their attack. I feel so bad for the villagers, and I really feel bad for our crew!!!! Crosshair not being able to get the tracker onto the ship.....!!!!!!!!! Ugh! The writing here is just so good, because they've built up so many of these things throughout the season. How the heck are we gonna get out of this one?! Omega taken AGAIN?!?!!? Guess we'll find out!!! Great ep! Enjoy! ~ MH

OMG I totally forgot that the droid was Mel!!! :P Who would wanna be covered in all that right? Us Mels don't take that kind of crap hahaha! The googles and Lula were too sad!!! But it's true, Omega's grown up a lot. Aww I know, Wrecker saving Gonky, even after those words were exchanged, was a nice touch! Dee Bradley Baker is killing it here, it really is hard to believe it's all the same person sometimes. Couldn't agree more about the corrosive element that the Empire is to everything around it too. I could see the jump being Kanan-worthy for sure! I love the dynamic between Crosshair and Omega here! They did such a great job of building up throughout the season that he couldn't aim well, but WOW, what a heartbreak to have it happen at that very moment!! Ah ok, she was clearing her mind I guess, thanks!

I guess people should listen to their feelings when they've "got a bad feeling" about something. It's totally Palpatine's MO to just laser-focus on whatever it is he wants, despite anyone/thing that might get harmed in the process. I think it's safe to say that Omega and Crosshair have rubbed off on each other! HAHAHAHA Dave is always here to prove me wrong! Yeah there was no way to preview this one! That's true, there might be at least a degree of duress on Syd's part, who knows. Hahah I'm going with 3 :P

Crosshair's bond with her is so special. And omg you're right about Wrecker!!! Yay clone babies haha, I was surprised to see them! Ahhhh the goggles :(((((

2024-06-01 11:28:36 +0000 UTCGreat and scarce episode for sure. On one hand, I was and still am sad for the death of the Marauder. On the other, I am just happy nobody died or that there wasn't too much dmg done to Pabu. I love how far Omega has come. She has learned soo much and taken parts of each of her brothers and combined them together within her personality and such. I love how attached Crosshair has become that he even foregoes his logical and sound thinking to try and protect Omega at all costs. Wrecker saving Gonky instead of whatever supplies he was carrying or even just himself warmed my heart. Seeing the little clone triplets again was nice. Obviously, seeing Tech's goggles broke my heart. This was a good episode.

2024-05-31 21:35:53 +0000 UTCIf you remember, Phee's droid is called Mel and she's giving Phee plenty of grief about being lumbered in some green goo - no one wants to be covered in that! :) CX-2's ship is so cool, it look like a dart. And I love all the gadgets it has too. Damn Empire getting all the nice stuff! Seeing Techs goggles stings, and leaving Lula represents Omega growing up, telling us now she's leaving her childhood behind. She has to. Wrecker arguing with Gonky threatening it by saying he'll leave it behind - then what's he do as the ship gets blown up? Save Gonky! What a shot when we see the Imperial Venator jumping in and hovering over the top of Pabu island. Ever since we saw this place we expected this to happen, and now it has, the Empire is here and will tear this place apart searching for Omega. Hard to believe the CX-2 Trooper is a clone. This is what the Empire does, it corrupts all around it, and made these clones into this, a twisted evil menace. Dee Bradley Baker does tremendously on the voice of these clones though, there is no humanity left with them and he voices them such. Hunter losing his touch, letting the stormtrooper get in a shot to alert the others. However, that jump onto the gunship was reminiscent of Kanan in Rebels. He would have been proud! At this time he's still a frightened hunted kid, like Omega is here. She however is strong, is thinking clearly, and makes the hard but right decision to give herself in. You can see how much it breaks Crosshair to accept this, but he trusts her completely and backs her. They set it up so well over the season, using Crosshair's shaking hand, as a reflection of his mental state, and to see him miss the shot with the tracker, when Omega is counting on him, is heart-breaking. Tbf he was under pressure from stormtroopers and the ship was taking off so he didn't have the time; but I do think the Crosshair of old, would have made that shot. Devastating. At the end Omega on the ship is calming and preparing herself...

2024-05-31 21:03:50 +0000 UTCA few weeks ago: “it’s so nice that there’s one place in the universe the Empire can’t touch.” Me: See, it’s because of quotes like this that we can’t have or keep nice things. 😅 Phee kind of unwittingly gave up Pabu’s location without meaning to - see kids, when you leave your car or your spaceship, it’s always a good idea to LOCK THE DOOR BEHIND YOU… Also how much trouble could we save in this franchise if people would just go with their gut instinct when they thought something was off… The Empire is laser focused whenever it gets its sights on something (in this case, Omega) - and everything else is just an obstacle. People’s lives, or livelihood don’t matter. It’s just another example of the narrow-minded thinking that plagues most of the regime - it’s kind of Palpatine’s calling card, to be completely honest. Omega is becoming more like Crosshair and Crosshair is starting to gain more empathy like Omega? I guess you could say they’re both influencing the other? “There’s no way she’s gonna get captured again.” Dave: “I love proving Melissa wrong.” Now you know why when I said last weekend I couldn’t preview this episode batch. It’d be too much of a giveaway. As for Syd and her involvement, one has to ask how much of the information is being given away of her own volition. If you get my meaning. It’s probably more out of concern for self preservation, albeit this is just speculation on my part. As for Omega’s look at the end? It’s either 1) It’s the end of the episode I need to look dramatic or 2) Well, that really sucked. Or 3) All of the Above. 👀
