Hey everyone! Here it is - my reaction to MHA season 7, episode 4!!! WHAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!! OMG!!! They got me AGAIN with everyone being so awesome and supportive to Aoyama! Including Aizawa!!! Dang, you really couldn't ask for a better crew! I know that Aoyama is deep in the depths of despair right now, but that's what heroes and friends are for - to pull you up out of it! We also got to see lots of familiar faces which was amazing!! And Shinso is coming back!!! So the current plan is to separate all the villains? That's smart! I can't wait to see how that goes! I'm excited and scared all at once! Great ep! Enjoy! ~ MH

LOL I know!!! And that line from Todoroki was great. That's true about ragdoll too! HAHAHA omg that's total Hawks fanservice! Either way it's cute! OMG I know, like the attention to detail with the pins and drawings and also just how it's done is so cute! It's a good plan but yeah, the details must be super complex. That was a good call mentioning the distance too, you're right. I LOVE the Aizawa and Aoyama scene! For real, they do a great job of capturing the dark tone. Of course he'd feel that way after all he's been through, but his classmates totally aren't gonna let him go through this alone!!!

2024-07-17 15:35:38 +0000 UTCThe joke of the boys faces being messed up is wild LMAO. I love Todoroki’s small line of how Aoyama must have looked more at who he wants to be than anyone else it’s powerful coming from him after everything he’s been through himself. I think it’s nice that Ragdoll is being involved with the planning since her quirk is being used against the heroes. Also Hawks saying “nyan” is 100% fanservice for the people who really like his character if you know what I mean LOL but for me I just like that it’s cute. The little pins with drawings All Might made to represent the villains are so damn cute it’s really funny to me for some reason. I like how the goal of the plan is rather simple of just separating the villains but it’s the logistics & figuring out how to make it work is where it becomes complicated. Also it’s a nice touch to mention that the minimum distance to keep them apart is 10 km (which is already insane because of how large a distance that already is) to make sure the villains especially AFO & Shigaraki because of how fast they are can’t regroup. The entire conversation between Aizawa & Aoyama is so good. The imagery/symbolism of the seed of fear is dark & sad seeing what AFO has done to this young boy. I love how realistic Aoyama’s fear is with what he has gone through as well as how what he has done has made him think he can’t be as brave & good as his friends.

2024-06-29 21:49:54 +0000 UTCYeah that's true actually! They're so ready, it's so inspiring. Hahaha the part with Mei is amazing!!! LOL that is something a teenage boy might think! It's both crazy and really sweet to think that she doesn't know what's going on but is still putting her all into helping. It definitely looks like they've been keeping busy in the workshop. She's incredible the way she helped in like .2 seconds! There's definitely more than one way to be a hero!

2024-06-25 14:12:44 +0000 UTCAlso it’s probably a good thing they didn’t tell us the plan because while sometimes when the audience is told a plan it goes off with no problems a lot of the time if that happens the plan has a complication or fails but when a plan is kept secret it usually is successful. I love how the class is just ready to go against the villains with that image of all of class A with really serious looks on their faces. The look on Izuku’s face when the same damn thing with Mei and the explosion is hilarious it screams him thinking “no, I should have seen that coming” LOL. Also Izuku that’s not how danger sense works since there was no intent to hurt you but I understand why you would think breasts are dangerous since you are a teenage boy. I needed Mei’s brand of levity after last episode she’s awesome. The best joke is how she doesn’t know how bad things are in Japan but I appreciate that she knows the heroes need help. It makes a lot of sense that the support course is making it possible for the UA barrier to continue running them along with Cementoss are so important for the sheer utility of protecting the heroes & you can tell how urgent everything is seeing their workshop very messy & disorganized when it was much different the last time we saw it. We already knew how impressive Mei is with her technology but I am even more impressed seeing how much work she is putting into the barrier and I love how she is still really intense. I can’t believe she was able to help the boys with their costumes with one hand. And I love how this scene emphasizes how there is more than one way to be a hero with what the support course does.

2024-06-22 23:35:48 +0000 UTCOmg I know, this whole thing with Aoyama is so well done! It hits right in the feels! I know, there's just something so amazing about these kids reaching out to him and wanting to help/befriend him no matter what. The angsty route would have had its interesting points for sure, but there's just something about this that resonates with the tone of the series a lot better! It does add to the realism that the adults are addressing some of the more practical concerns though. Iida is amazing here right?! It makes so much sense with his background too. Kirishima was killing it too! LOL Aizawa coming in like the dad that he is, so sweet! Yeah they teased that plan a lot didn't they!

2024-06-21 15:54:05 +0000 UTCThis is another great set up episode for the heroes. I love the continuation of this discussion about what should be done now that the truth has come to light about Aoyama. It’s sad but heartwarming to see how shocked he is at the other kids wanting to help & support him because it would make sense for them to hate him or at least not want to trust him after he put people in danger. And a lot of people would but these kids are just kind people who want to trust a friend even after something like this because they still care & personally I feel like some of that is because they have seen the problems in their society and trying to reach out to someone in Yuga’s position is a way to start changing things. Although I think it would have been interesting if the mangaka had gone the route of having the other students be more apprehensive about trusting him or for there to be a bit more friction between them but I really like this angle as well & I appreciate that the one who was affected the most by his actions Bakugo did react a little more. I think it’s good that the adults are being more cautious about this than the kids to give this a more realistic feel especially the whole thing about the kids being victims in all this. I love how Iida steps up as the class president talking about wanting to be equal again since he was the person Aoyama told about wanting to be equal & even though it was a less serious betrayal Iida knows what it’s like to want to get back someone’s trust after the Stain incident & going to save Bakugo without permission. Also this is a really powerful moment for Kirishima standing up for Aoyama because he wanted to stop being a spy & I loved him saying it doesn’t matter if you don’t have a quirk the voice acting was great for him. I love how Aizawa has to join in the conversation knowing his “problem child” Izuku probably didn’t have a plan it’s hilarious & it’s great to see once again how much of a supportive backbone he is for the kids & heroes having a lot of belief in his students even Aoyama. It’s a little frustrating to not hear the plan he came up with but with the teachers talking about looking at locations I think it was easy for me to speculate that it had to be about separating the villains into different places.

2024-06-20 14:32:49 +0000 UTCLOL!!!! True :P I mean, I guess he could mean that he's not good at being a villain, but I'm pretty sure he's just beating himself up. Yeah I don't think they want Aoyama or his family to know anything, it would be too easy for AFO to guess, you're right. Hahaha Hatsume IS the support course :P HAHHAHAHA Uraraka seeing him in that particular state would definitely set off the danger sense :P Hmm, not sure who they'll leave for Bakugo, good point! LOL I assumed Shinso was training but who knows! Oooh, that's not a good sign that Aoyama's not in the intro. NOOOOOO don't even put it into the universe!!! >.<

2024-05-31 15:08:02 +0000 UTCHi Spadeas! :) I love that they're so ready to help him! And so true, we do have lots of examples of things not being black-and-white even with heroes, so they understand! I really loved that we got just a little bit of comedy haha! WOW, that's a long arc in the manga!!! Dang!!

2024-05-31 15:05:29 +0000 UTC“They’re a handful of episodes in and I’m already emotional!” Me: Melissa, getting worked up over anime? Must be a… TUESDAY! 😁 (although technically today is Wednesday so…) I don’t think any of us are too shocked at the way Class 1-A reacted, but Aiyana’s actions will still have to bear some sort of consequence. When he keeps saying “I’m a terrible villain,” one way to interpret it is he’s saying “I am the worst kind of scum,” but you could also interpret it as “I’m a villain, but I’m terrible at it.” They DIDN’T actually tell us what the plan was - so our ears are just as plugged as the Aoyamas - my guess is part of it is they don’t want them to know because if they don’t know what the plan is, they can’t honestly lie about it to All For One, can they? (We do something similar when we know something big is coming up on a show you’re watching and we’re trying not to spill the beans.) Hatsume has more talent in her left hand than the entire rest of the support course. Also why is it Midoriya keeps finding himself in physically compromising situations with her? Deku, Danger Sense didn’t go off because a girl’s breasts are not actually dangerous to your well-being. However, if Uraraka were to see you in this state… all bets are off… So what I took from the briefing is we’re splitting into three teams led by Deku, Todoroki and Bakugo. That tracks. But if Deku and Todoroki both have obvious opponents doesn’t that leave Bakugo with All For One? First Aizawa’s going to have to convince Aoyama to start repairing the damage… Also why is Shinsoo tied upside down in a tree? It went by too fast, but I don’t think I saw Aoyama in the class group in the intro… gonna be keeping my eye on that. I have no context since I’m not reading ahead but I did have a thought: Hmm, it’s been a while since anybody died on this show… oops, did I say that out loud? 👀 I’m sure everything’s FINE….

2024-05-30 04:10:27 +0000 UTCHi Hime :) Class 1-A is ready to help Aoyama, but at the same time, between Bakugou who has worked hard on himself, Shoto who lived a good part of his childhood with hatred and learned forgiveness, Iida who had his "vigilante" arc with Stain, Ochako and her relationship with Toga, the whole class having learned about Izuku, Hawk having killed Twice or even the Dabi and Endeavor relationship... We can say that they had many examples that heroes are not perfect and that actions speak louder than words. So yes, they are ready to reach out to him because they perfectly understand the circumstances of everything that is happening. The little bit of humor was still good, because although it was short, it allowed all the emotional tension accumulated since episode 1 to be released. Besides, you talk about being on the edge of an abyss, you are not far from it, the arrival of Star and Stripe marked the beginning of this narrative arc, it began on October 11, 2021 in the manga and is all just about to end, suffice to say that it's going to be very busy and intense.
