Hey everyone! Here it is - my reaction to Bad Batch, season 3 episode 4! AHHHH this one was so good! I just love Omega's huge heart for animals! And I ADORE Batcher, she's for sure the next Grogu! The scenes with the imperial officer were SO tense! And dang, doing things the non-violent way gets expensive!!! Good thing we have Crosshair's methods for when the going gets really tough lol :P OMG THE REUNION!!!!!! It was everything!!! I can't wait to see how things are gonna go with Crosshair....!!! Great ep! Enjoy! ~ MH

So let's treat Nala Se less like a 'oh poor her' and more like an anakin, okay? (Yes, I often think 'an anakin' when thinking about Star Wars. In SW verse, you can be a palpatine (you only care about yourself, ef others), you can be a thrawn (you only care about YOUR PEOPLE, but you can't kill many other people unless it's necessary for, see above, YOUR people), you can be an anakin (pls don't, and you know what you care about there), or you can be a han or a luke. So, yup. 😆 pft. In short ... I try to be, like, idk, an ahsoka? 😆 pfttt. Ok, enough lame analogies from me rn. Nice reaction from you to this ep, I liked it! 👍

His kid came home :'D Ahhhh the hug!!!! And the THEME!!!!!!!!!! That's the thing, he's what some might call a "black sheep" of the family, but he's still family. That look was quite telling right?! :O

He's a total softie and a tsundere, he's just written so well. The Dad Batch!!!!! They're the best dads in the galaxy for sure :D

Indeed the voice we heard so brilliantly in Kenobi, was that digitised voice, especially when you can hear his age in Rogue One and to a lesser extent in Rebels. Its a bit different to the case of them modelling and digitising Peter Cushing for Rogue One, and I believe without the consent of his living family (Carrie Fisher was fine with using her digital likeness however as she just about saw it before she died).

2024-05-04 11:51:48 +0000 UTCThe reunion killed me 😭. The squad is back to 4 members but it literally made me cry because it could've been 5. It made me even more sad that I know Tech would've made some snarky remarks in the way he does 😔. I miss him soo MUCH! He was my Tech, my wonderful Tech. On the other hand, I've always loved Crosshair. But what they're doing with his dynamic of the group, attitude, and emotions this season is soo good! He's like that one dad who always tries to portray himself a certain way all the time but when faced with someone he cares about, he breaks and reveals his true self underneath the mask. The Dad Batch are truly some of the best dad's in the history of dad's.

2024-05-04 07:50:03 +0000 UTCHave you noticed that it seems like every other episode of every other Star Wars episode we’re dealing with a shuttle related problem? 😅 Also, the Anakin landing is a classic. Why fix what isn’t broken? :D Crosshair’s personality has flipped slightly from earlier seasons - he’s gone from straight antagonist to grouchy uncle, if you ask me. Omega’s philosophy is a lot more passive and idealistic, and it is an admirable one - however, the Empire and all its delightful denizens don’t seem like they’ll give her a whole lot of wiggle room with those options. The game Omega was playing at Syd’s place was different than the card game she was playing here. Clearly she’s learned a lot of “tricks.” Oh, and I guess we can add animal napping to the Empire’s growing list of trespasses… right? I mean, it’s not like you had any love for them already, so let’s just add it to the pile. I didn’t say this in the last episode, but I’d be very surprised if any “new” Star Wars releases do much with Vader on screen, on account of James Earl Jones announcing his retirement. There are some things that just wouldn’t be right to mess with, and the voice of Vader is on the short list. As Hunter points out, it’s ironic that they’ve tracked everywhere for her, but somehow she found them. Her batch taught her well. Of course with Hemlock pursuing her to the ends of the Galaxy, a little animal uprising might be the least of the worries. However this family reunion is gonna be slightly awkward… 😬 Regarding the M-count, remember that Omega is a specifically and specially designed clone, not a “happy accident.” This was planned and executed on Kamino, possibly for this exact purpose? One has to wonder what the whole plan was. Because we know how often plans in this franchise go the way they’re intended to…. PS: I am actually in favor of you using subtitles, but I think I’m in the minority. Ut was way easier to catch on to names and places that way however.

However, just like in the last episode, they work so well together and improvise expertly, even when their plans go south. On the music for the reunion. Its quite childlike to start with, but it shows Hunter and Wrecker's "kid" is coming home - and she found them! The Wrecker hug especially gets me since he wears his heart on his sleeve and is never shy with his emotions. They had to burst open Omega's Theme for the Hunter reunion though! Crosshair coming down the steps too has so much weight. He is the difficult one of the family, the one we all roll our eyes at, and fight with, and he rejected their offer to come back before in favour of the Empire - BUT you are right Mel, he IS family nevertheless. The look Wrecker and Hunter give him though...
