Reaction to Jojo parody video after the episode!

Stick around at the end for Jojo World footage!

Hey everyone!  Here I am with Jojo Part 6, episode 38!! OH MY GOOOOOOOOOOOOD!!!!!!!!!!! Nothing could've prepared me for this one you guys!!! Wow, the idea of remaking the universe is ambitious to say the least....but making it so that everyone knows their future already, dang dude. I think you're missing the whole point of life!!!! So it seems like Emporio has a chance to end this.....at the time of watching I honestly wasn't sure if he was gonna bring our friends back or not. But DANG did I call it about using Weather Report!!!!!!!!!!!! What an absolutely fitting end, and such a cool strategy to do it too! Our baby Emporio was so brave!!! And WOW, I had no idea just how significant the ending was!!! I figured he got to a universe where some versions of them were ok, but NO you guys, that's them!!!! Just all happy and I guess Part 6 never really happened!!!! But I'll take it over watching them all die! GUYS!!!!!! They did it, they played those beautiful notes once again!!! I couldn't believe it! What an outro!!!!!!!!!!!! And what a finale! I'm still emotional over it....I'm gonna miss this show so much! I hope you enjoy the extras - a fun parody reaction (footage courtesy of Leonie!), an extra discussion once I knew what the fudge was going on, and some fun footage of an amazing Jojo event I got to go to recently!!!!! Great ep, great part, great series - my favorite of all time in fact!  Enjoy!  ~ MH

Hahaha why do I keep saying these things?! Yeah the "big sis" nickname seems to be really popular in anime! Yeah it's a mind bender alright, he's talking about fate yet he's never minded taking fate into his own hands. OMG YES it's definitely giving RvB vibes haha. OMG for real, this would've been the perfect opportunity to bring in unaffected Jojos like Josuke and Giorno! Ohhh good call about Emporio, that does make sense about the shape he's in when we get to the next scene. I've heard similar about David Productions' reasoning for the delay - although there's some good news there, there's been some unofficial leaks about Part 7 being confirmed, including the director of Part 6 tweeting something about the animation in Part 7 (which was quickly removed). So, do with that what you will! Not sure if you made it to this part in my outro, but I'm already reading Part 7 (manga reviews coming soon)! I know it's not quite the same when a reactor isn't doing a first time reaction, and it will be new territory for me, but I couldn't wait! Love the Jojo references in your closing haha! Till next time!

Melissa Moore

Hi Spadeas! :) LOL I loved that mention of Rohan, it does make total sense! That's the thing, Araki really went all out....he wasn't afraid to just kill off almost everyone, which is bold! I'd like to see it as they all lived in the end, but that doesn't change the fact that I had to watch them die once lol. OMG!!! Mr. Hime was quick to point out the reference to Oingo Boingo (he's obsessed haha)! And now I know why folks in the comments were always mentioned that whenever Jotaro got injured. Dang, it really does come to pass! So true, Jolyne totally pulled a Jonathan here! She sacrificed herself in the same way. I absolutely love the opening interruption!!! What a way to go out for sure! And Roundabout, OMG!!!! I'm still emotional thinking about it! Truly, it's all come full circle! No kidding about Gorgeous Irene, that's such a nice nod haha! You're not kidding about the power of Jojo, this show is my whole life now! (About to go order more merch as we speak lol.) It's a huge part of Araki's life for sure! (So cool that you're an 87 baby!!!) I love that you experienced the same phenomenon during your journey as a fan! So awesome that you've been a fan for decades now. I couldn't agree more, this is a masterpiece and I only wish it was even more popular! It definitely deserves any and all success and mainstream attention it gets! I agree with you, Jojo will be in my heart forever too!!!!!!

Melissa Moore

I'm still catching up on comments but saw this come in before bed and thought I'd jump in really quick to try and answer it! So someone can correct here if I'm wrong, but I think since Pucci died and his Stand Made in Heaven also died, that's why he just never existed? And since he never existed, that means Weather was never killed by him, so he's alive at the end in the revamped version of the universe, same as all the others who died. I could be leaving out details or getting that wrong though, so if someone wants to jump in and try to make more sense of it, please feel free! Hope that helps!

Melissa Moore

Okay, wait, I have one more question. So Pucci dies before Maiden is complete, and so he never existed. Wouldn't that apply to weather as well? Or with his disc around, are we to infer that he's somehow “alive” or still with us to a degree. Like theres an increment of him still physically there and so he still manages to exist? Does that make sense??

Manny

Oooohh that's so true, and fitting! I'm glad too that our original universe is just that, the same universe just without Pucci. Yeah FF is the only one I'm really bummed about! Everyone else got a happy ending, but true that Emporio's the only one who knows/remembers his version of events. Oh my gosh, it's been such a journey! I just started reading Part 7 (reviews coming to the channel soon!) and I can already see how good it is!!! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAH wait what?! How are there so many Kars on Mars?!?!!? :P At least he'll have someone to keep him company....?!?!

Melissa Moore

Ooooh I love that description, 6 flavors of ice cream!!! Lol so well said, it's meant to be weird, it's literally in the name! I couldn't agree more, it really stands apart. It's in my heart forever now!!!!!!!!

Melissa Moore

OMG really?!!?! I'm so glad you were happy with my reaction!!! Awwww I'm happy I established Jojo Mondays for you!!!!! Maybe I'll have to keep my SBR reviews on Mondays just to keep it going? ^_^ Thank you so much for watching along with me!!!

Melissa Moore

LOL I just started reading it but I know enough about a few of the characters to understand that joke XD

Melissa Moore

Ooohh I've seen a few clips of this! I'd love to play or see it! Question, is it like a side-scroller fighting game or a different type of game? I'm actually okay at the former type of game but I'd love to see the cutscenes regardless of whether or not I actually play it!!!! Thank you!!

Melissa Moore

Yes!!! Thank you for explaining, I was told this after the fact and decided to make my little discussion video about it that's in the outro! It really changes the whole ending for me. I really love that everything else still happened too! And in his own way, Araki made a happy ending for everyone! No parental distance, no murder, etc. lol. I love it!

Melissa Moore

It was pretty intense!!! I didn't understand all of it either but I've learned to just appreciate the general concept!!! OMG I was rewatching Phantom Blood a while back and noticed it, I was like HOW did I never notice that?!?!!?! Ever?!??! She was there the whole time LOL!!!!

Melissa Moore

I just made it to Future Hime, so I feel a bit better. There's still some murky stuff, but that's Jojo. I didn't get all this registered with the comments. I'm taking my best shot with Weather. With one baby, the woman probably chose another pair of babies to swap with, or maybe she, like others, had a happier life. Regardless, Weather is alone, so he's not split and knows Perma as his sister. Maybe? Man, what a series. I never thought we'd get here. Specifically, here with how it ended/started. And here to this end. What a freaking series this is. 💫

Manny

Okay, I am not going to lie; this ending was well and great, but it's bugging the crap out of me right now. I'm super glad for the comment section right now because it felt devastating to me, in a way. It still does. Maybe I need some time for it to settle, and yes, I can see the reason for the end of following the exact bloodline at this point, which may be hindering or holding back whatever Araki is planning next. Frankly, if I don't have to worry about the Joestars anymore, that's fine; I'll accept that. I guess I'll be okay if I know they're OK. Still, hearing Roundabout did shatter me the same way. It's great that things remained the same in the others, and part 6(?) is left untouched, so to speak; just hearing YES is killing me. Even though we've broken the cycle in 6 in a good way, it's like a total rewind. It's supposed to be beautiful like we can move on, but it's still like having to go full circle with things again, only with more questions, IDK. We broke a cycle, and even though it's better, just knowing everyone in that universe died kills me. It's like we leave them for a whole new world. Which we did I guess. That's how it feels like right now, anyway. Man, I was waiting for a reset in the opposite direction. I kept waiting, but no. God bless the comment section because I’d feel even more devastated. Yet, I can see why Araki may have ended it here (again, so to speak), but still, it's such a long adventure to be invested in that it is hard to say goodbye like that, no matter how awesome the ending. Man I just have questions but don't know where to start.

Manny

“I feel safe as long as Jotaro is on screen.” “Well, we know Emporio has to be safe now.” …I feel like you’re setting yourself up for this stuff. One thing I keep meaning to bring up is Emporio addresses Jolyne often as “onee-chan,” which to my understanding, is more like “Big Sis.” I think there’s a walking contradiction in this particular episode because Pucci is actively claiming that things that happened are fated to happen again - but the very fact that he’s trying to eliminate Emporio is defying his own logic. It’s a real mind bender. Do you remember in RvB when we had the whole time travel / paradox discussion thread about closed loops and such? It kinda feels like that’s what we’re doing here but it’s a little more complicated than that. So the thing that happened with Emporio and Pucci the way I understand it is that the pure oxygen was exposed to both of them, which is why when Emporio gets to the bus he can’t actually see what’s happening (don’t forget the bleeding eyes) - he’s blinded. Then it occurred to me, with the whole “dead can’t cross over” thing, even though that’s been supposedly retconned a bit - Josuke never had that issue - time to go visit Morioh again maybe? Regarding the reasons behind the delay in an announcement (none of this is officially sourced, thus us just stuff I’ve heard being talked about, someone else might be a more reliable source of info) - there have been complications with David Production, the studio that is responsible for it - I heard two different things. There might be truth to either, both or neither. One is they aren’t sure they want to continue with the workload the show requires - the other topic, which seems far more plausible, is they’re working on it, but they’re implementing new animation technology and have run into difficulties getting it to behave the way they want to. That being said, I personally say wait, don’t read the manga and bide your time . I’ve seen reactors who are watching stuff when they already know what’s coming. It basically ruins the reaction series, and in some cases, the whole channel. So even though you haven’t actually asked yet, I think you should stay (no pun intended) blind. That’s one of the appeals of doing this with you in particular, you don’t know what’s coming, and make an effort to keep it that way. You obviously have a big passion for the series, and I would hate to see future reactions to a potential release ruined because of impatience. (At least it’s not in the fluctuation that another show on this channel is regarding uncertainty), because it’s not an if, it’s a when. If the studio needs to hand it off, there is plenty of demand for it. You have plenty of other content to do in the meantime, and it’ll return before you even realize it. Hopefully that explanation makes sense for why I’m saying that. But I’ll leave you with this: we finished the current series by resetting the universe and going back in a…. ROUNDABOUT way. Good grief. (Yare Yare Daze) Good things come to those who are patient enough to wait for them.

Hi Hime :) Rohan being the only mangaka who manages to reach his deadline is both hilarious but so Rohan that it doesn't surprise anyone in the end lol. Araki outdid himself for this ending, he doesn't just kill a few jojobros or a jojo, but all at once, only Emporio survives. Even if technically, we could say that they survived. That's why I said it really depends on your point of view ^^. Small detail, the mortal wound that Jotaro receives, is in the same place as the explosion crack drawn in Oingo's book in Stardust Crusader, we sometimes gently make fun of Araki's forgetfulness, but on that, it's almost cruel to his part lol. You say it yourself "Jolyne sacrificing herself = Jonathan's move" and precisely, when we meet Jonathan for the first time and he protects Erina from the two bullies, he himself says that a Gentleman will always fight to protect the weak even if he knows he cannot win, Jolyne faces Pucci to protect Emporio, knowing that she will not come back... This version of the opening is the coolest thing done in Jojo, and what a way to say goodbye. Speaking of which, ending with Roundabout by Yes, we can say that... we have come full circle. Small detail, one of Araki's first manga was called Gorgeous Irene, so it's a nice nod to rename Jolyne with this first name. Jojo has this power, through his unique aspect, to grab you and never let go, to the point of becoming part of your life. But when you think about it, knowing that the series started 37 years ago now (started in 87 and I was born in 87 so not hard to count lol), it's also a big part of Araki's life. I've known Jojo for decades now, because the announcement for this anime version hadn't been made yet when I started my bizarre adventure in this manga. Just like you, at a certain point, I could only realize that I had become a jojofan, I began to see jojoreferences everywhere and above all understand why it was such a phenomenon in Japan. I must say that I am really happy to live in a time which has seen the explosion of this series outside of Japan after all its years, because it really deserves to be known and recognized, in the same way as titles like One Piece. Jojo has been and continues to be a part of my life, and even if there are other series that I have fallen absolutely in love with in the meantime, Jojo will remain in my heart forever.

I hope you're ready for the last round of Fan Arts. It could get a bit emotional. I've warned you in advance. https://www.instagram.com/p/CXFlEBivFEd/?img_index=1 https://www.instagram.com/p/CnHQcutvu2T/?img_index=1 https://www.instagram.com/p/CVXzWaMvgVy/?img_index=1 https://www.instagram.com/p/COnfKDEA-av/ https://www.instagram.com/p/CxiuvbvKBOE/ https://www.instagram.com/p/CH5YGJxF6jP/?img_index=1 https://www.instagram.com/p/CmZ28oAPPQK/?img_index=1 https://www.instagram.com/p/CU5SoO9FSHy/?img_index=1 https://www.instagram.com/p/CTOPaHws9EW/?img_index=1 https://www.instagram.com/p/CLGTTpHFt1Q/?img_index=1 https://www.instagram.com/p/CQFcwCEFjfi/?img_index=1 https://www.instagram.com/p/CFoCXdwlfGx/?img_index=1 https://www.instagram.com/p/C4MnnlJL8is/ After all the emotional stuff, here's some sweet and beautiful fanart. https://www.instagram.com/p/Cr_doBoOsDr/?img_index=1 https://www.instagram.com/p/CQ1mRJklXJp/?img_index=1 https://www.instagram.com/p/CYxCIQsqg6y/?img_index=1 https://www.instagram.com/p/C4OEjRgsE1-/?img_index=1 https://www.instagram.com/p/CrlYurUOFCu/?img_index=1 https://www.instagram.com/p/C4YS6shx-2r/?img_index=1 https://www.instagram.com/p/Cqcp4CSrkiG/?img_index=1 Finally, I'm sending two more Simp videos, because I know you simp about the Jojo characters as much as I do. I know the one video is very similar to what I used to send in the Vinland saga videos, but it's still pretty funny. https://www.instagram.com/p/Cf1dWBEvunz/?img_index=1 https://www.instagram.com/p/COTCXiKhhR7/ This song will forever remind me of Jojo. Whenever I heard this song, I had to do the Torture Dance because you can also dance along to it. That's all the fanart I've prepared for today. I look forward to the future Jojo videos and with that I say goodbye for today. https://www.instagram.com/p/C5Gvbf1LTLl/ Have fun!

What better way for Pucci to go out, than for him to get just a little taste of heaven before having it taken away from him. So the big thing I was worried about is that people would say that the new world is the same universe as Parts 7-9, since a lot of people do assume that. However its it's own Universe, where parts 1-5 happened... But that's it, because Pucci wasn't around to rally the remaining troops. In a way it's a happy ending since in a way nobody died, but Emporio's never meeting his version of the gang ever again. Of course since Pucci was the reason why Foo Fighters existed... They never existed in the Irene-Verse. What a crazy journey its been so far, but its kind of hard to believe that we're done with the story that Part 1-6 has introduced to us before. What's coming up next might have to be what many to be considered the peak of Jojo. Because Araki is going to take everything that he's done and learn from parts 1-6, and then he's really going to step it up a notch. Also here's a little tidbit from the George Joestar Novels that I kept in for so long. Due to the Universe resets, there's like... 37 Kars on Mars. xD

Hey Melissa, I'm back again. It's been a while since I've commented, but I've been sick after my vacation. But now I'm completely well again and I feel up to sharing comments and fanart again. And it's also a very important occasion today, because today you finished Jojo's Bizarre Adventure for now. First of all, I want to thank you for always entertaining me with your videos. You have made me, , loveJojo even more. I really enjoyed sharing fanart and reading your reaction to it. You've already said a lot in your videos about your thoughts on Part 6 and the end of the old Jojo universe. But now I want to share my thoughts with you as well. I was of course as shocked as you, to see that all of our beloved characters had to die except for Emporio. I found it very encouraging of Araki to take this step, because no one before has had so many characters die in his story (let's leave aside JJK). And that's exactly why this ending of Stone Ocean is so controversial with the fans, because there are really a lot of people who don't like the ending and criticize Araki for taking this step. Which I can't quite understand, because I think it's a wonderful way to end the old universe and take a new step into a new project. Of course, nobody knew at the time that Araki was going to reboot the series and create a completely new universe. But still, many were quite sad and angry that he wrote this ending. I thought it was a good decision on your part to include your new insights into the Stone Ocean ending at the end of the Reaction. Because it makes the ending appear in a completely new light. And I had to figure that out myself first. I didn't have the ideas right away. Because, like you, I was also at a loss as to exactly what Arak wanted to tell us with the ending. But there are wonderful YouTube videos that explain it in great detail. Of course, I would have liked all the Jojos who are still alive to support Jolyne in a fight against Pucci at the end. It would have been such an awesome fight. Sure Giorno with Gold Experience Requiem would be pretty OP, but against a force as immense as Made in Heaven that would have actually been pretty fair too. I have to say that Made in Heaven is one of my favorite Villain stans. Not just by design, but also by ability. Pucci used it really well and I also have to say that Pucci is one of the best written Villains in JoJo in the old universe. He's only surpassed by a few characters from the new universe. And I think that's a super good performance by Araki. Jolyne also performed really well as JoJo, as did the JoBros, but I could never quite warm up to all of them. I found them all really likeable and interesting as characters, but I just got too attached to the Bucciarati gang, so I didn't quite warm to the new characters. But Jolyne gave a great performance as JoJo. She really is a super well-written female character, just like you said in the video. Overall, I have to say that Part 6 is a good part that took a while to get good. I didn't really like the whole section in the prison itself. It was really long and it was also just because Netflix had a really crappy release schedule where you always have to wait so long for new episodes to come out. Part. Part 6 was only really strong for me when Jolyne and the others broke out of prison. The whole story with the Dio sons and Weather Report just made me so hype for the finale. And even though I knew roughly what I was in for, it all left me so emotionally wrecked, like you. I was an emotional wreck. And I felt the exact same emotions again when I watched it with you again. David Production has outdone themself again with the alternative opening. It was so emotional to see all the Jojos together again in one opening and there were so many references to parts 1 and 3. I also loved that they played Roundabout again. And even that had a meaning. Like you said, it suggests that all the stories have stayed the same, even in the new universe, only Part 6 has changed and the Joestar family is now free from the Dios curse. I also want to thank you again for watching my video and being so happy about it. It was a bit of work to edit it as I'm not very good at editing. I have to thank my brother for that because he did it all for me. I hope I can continue to follow you in the future with your Jojo journey and I'm very pleased that you started the Steel Ball Run manga as I advised you too. I'll definitely be at the starting line when you give manga reviews and can't wait to see them. I also think it's very cool that you saw the Phantom Blood musical. I saw it too and thought it was very, very good. Dio's acting was just terrific and Jonathan also gave it all. The songs they did were really unique and very well done. Of course, I would have liked an English translation to understand everything better, but since I know the story of Phantom Blood, it wasn't too difficult to follow the plot. Your videos on Jojo World were also very amusing. It's a shame it wasn't what you had in mind. Of course, I would also be disappointed if something wasn't what I expected. You just had to stay positive for the videos. I don't think I could do that. 🫣🤣 Now we come to my final Jojo ranking. It was very difficult for me to include Part 6 in my ranking, as I usually rate each batch individually. But I think I have found a good place where I could put Part 6. My current ranking: Golden Wind: 9.8/10 Battle Tendency: 9.5/10 Diamond is unbreakable: 9/10 Stone Ocean: 8.55/10 SDC Battle in Egypt: 8.5/10 Phantom Blood: 8/10 SDC First Season: 7/10 Now it's time for the last time I share fanart😰😭. I've picked out a few good ones for you and I hope you'll like them. As always, I'll put them in a separate comment. I'm pretty sure we will see each other again. Be it in one of the next anime you choose to replace Jojo and of course hopefully soon in Part 7.

Leonie2003

The beauty of JoJo really is that every part, while being connected feels like its own thing. Kind of like having 6 different flavors of ice cream, with more on the way! (Eventually anyway) A person could be completely confused the entire time and still enjoy it. Bizarre is in the name after all. Especially with shonen it just stands apart in its own place.

Brian Settles

I’ve been waiting for your reaction to this episodes OP and ED ever since I started watching your reactions and it did not disappoint! Back when JoJo was airing fans would call new episode release days “JoJo Fridays” and to me at least it felt like having that back in a way watching you go through the show every Monday.

Johnny Ocampo

I really hope steel ball run comes out during an election year

Angel Barrera

which is part 7, Johnny Joestar.

dork

The jojo naming convention was meant to be symbolic of how there will always be somebody to fight against dio and his consequences. By having a joestar named Irene it means there are no more threats to deal with and every joestar from this point on can be free to live their lives. The next time we see jojo it’s probably going to be an alternate universe with its own story to tell.

Angel Barrera

Btw, there’s also a videogame „JoJo eyes of heaven“, and this one is technically a canon, too, because Araki wrote a script for it. Highly recommend to check it out (with or without gameplay; the story of the game proceeds in cutscenes anyway), the story there is very interesting as well, and all our beloved heroes are in there)

Anastasia Smurova

Basically what happened is that the Universe restarted without Pucci, so Jolyne doesn’t have a big JoJo enemy anymore, that’s not her fate to fight him. That’s why she’s not a Jojo, her name changed to be the one without „Jo“ in it — Irene. She’s Irene Kujo now, so can’t be called JoJo anymore, cancelling the need for her to fight and sacrifice The previous chapters happened as they were though. Jotaro still beat Dio, Kira was defeated in Morioh, Giorno became the head of mafia. Just part 6 never happened as Pucci doesn’t exist in this new universe The characters are basically the same people. Araki added though that their souls remain as they were, but now they consider the events that happened during part 6: Jotaro and Jolyne have better relationships, Anasui is not a criminal and didn’t commit the murder, etc

Anastasia Smurova

I don't know when will I feel like watching part 6, but I was already know what the ending would be like. Speeding time to reset the universe again is somehow beyond my understanding. Fun Fact: Jolyne did appear since Jojo's first op of Jonathan Joestar. Go back and watch it again, but with extremely slow speed from the very start, and you will see THEM all again.
