Hey everyone!  Here I am with Jojo Part 6, episode 24!!  Oh dang, this one really was OP!!! Jolyne and Emporio though....dang what a great team they make! Emporio is most definitely best boy! The trick with the binary numbers was SO cool!!! And now we basically can just be invisible getting out of the prison, dang!!!!!!! Oh by the way, that last scene with Pucci....I KNEW it!!! I KNEW he was gonna get a time power! So he can fast forward time?! Or is there more to it?! Guess we'll find out...!!!  Great ep!  Enjoy!  ~ MH

Hahahaha Jailhouse Rock must get to me a lot then :P I loved the payoff! Yeah her being the lead guard actually makes a lot of sense. Hahaha wasn't the binary thing amazing?! LOL yeah they just casually strolled out and made a few stops along the way first no less :P Makes sense that whatever kind of power is imbued in the Green Baby is now running wild inside of Pucci. Ohhh good call, they did outlast time didn't they! I'm gonna work on the bingo card haha! I'm already on my own vacation-prep-schedule for Jojo but thanks for the suggestion! I'll be addressing all the things I haven't gotten to yet when I get back. :)

Hi Spadeas! :) I'm so happy that we're getting a happy ending of some kind! Whoa!! It's crazy to think we'll see Jolyne power up even more! Ohhhh interesting, so that's what's happening with his Stand. ohhh thanks for the info on the namesake! OHHHH ok, so it is Jailhouse Lock!!! Omg that's so cool about the opening!!!! Yeah they do a great job with the openings!!!

Melissa Moore

YES!!!! Omg same, we've been here so long haha. I'm so glad we brought baby Emporio along! Omg he's exactly like Clint Eastwood, in fact I'm pretty sure that's who Araki based him off of. He's a softie in there somewhere for sure! HAHAHAHAHA screwed the Pucci, omg I almost spit out my coffee!!! XD Yeah Dio's struck again, it looks like whatever is happening to Pucci, his body isn't handling it so well.

Finally getting out of prison! And we’re taking Emporio with us! I forgot what life was like on the outside. Jotaro is like Eastwood. You’re surprised to find out there’s a soft side to that rough exterior after all. I want to hug him too. I can’t say for sure if Dio screwed the Pucci yet. He seems frightened because he’s not sure of what becoming of himself. Still it’s unclear to me how Pucci is feeling at this point but it’s not 100% him anymore which has to be scary. Dio does it again!

So when I popped this reaction on I got rather worried for you. Let’s rewind the tape. Three minutes in: MH: “What was I going to say? I was going to say something…” Me: Look out, Jailhouse Rock got her again! As previously stated, this is the payoff/finale for Part 2 of 3. So it just spends a decent amount of time resolving issues. Mew Mew being the lead guard was a different kind of twist, but now that I think of it, the guards have all been acting really weird this whole time. Was she really the one pulling the… strings (no pun intended) all this time? Solving the memory problem by using binary is both incredibly obscure and also equally “why didn’t I think of that?” aggravating. Araki likes to goad his audience. Leave it to a JoJo to casually just WALK out of a maximum security prison though. No big deal. Yada yada…. With Pucci, he did say something is running loose inside me that I don’t have any control over… and DIO said in the last episode “the birthed creature belongs to me.” Oh, you said the Pillar Men didn’t have anything to do with time but… they outlasted it? So in a way they kinda defied its laws too. Okay so two questions. 1. You gonna do the bingo card? You should. :) 2. Look, I KNOW you’ll probably balk at this line of thinking but I’ll ask it anyway so you can at least think about it: based on your schedule post yesterday, you only have 1 more JoJo reaction day before you’re taking off on vacation, I think. Do you want to keep going with the show next week, or, since we basically just closed the book on Part 2, would you rather wait to start the final “part” after you finish your vacation? (If the second option is an idea, it would also clear up some reaction space for some other things you might want to possibly get done.) I’m only asking about it because I don’t know how you feel about starting the final part (to date) and stopping in the middle of it - or if you’d rather wait and go straight through once you’re done. We’ll be around either way, you know. :)

As already mentioned, I don't have as much fanart to offer today, but I will next week. I'm also slowly losing track of what I've already sent you and what I haven't. Hey Melissa, you've now completed the second batch of Stone Ocean. Jolyne and the other Jobros have finally broken out of prison. Sometimes I can't even imagine that David Production and Netflix made us fans wait another three months until they dropped the finale. It was a really annoying wait because of course you wanted to see the finale and again you didn't know when the last episodes were coming out because Netflix only announced a few weeks before release that the last episodes would be released on December 1, 2022. I hope that when David Production adapts part 7, they don't work with Netflix again, instead going back to their normal release schedule and bringing back Jojo Fridays, because I really missed that. The finale for the second batch was actually very good. I also found the Miu Miu Fight very annoying in between, as you were a bit stressed out because Jolene always forgot everything. But basically, Jailhouse Lock is a totally cool booth concept. Here are a few more fun facts about the episode, which I only found out through the manga and other fans, but which I find very interesting and exciting and I think you'll like them too. In the manga, when Jolyne watches the movie, she specifically says "Why is Johnny Depp going to the mansion?" lol. Not only that but the scene is longer and involves another movie then, with Jolyne spoiling the ending of the Sixth Sense to the other prisoners LOL. "Hey, I know this movie! I saw it a thousand times when I was a kid. Bruce Willis is actually *********. That's how it ends." (I'm censoring myself just in case someone hasn't watched it even though the ending is widely spoiled but just in case. ). And also if I'm not mistaken Araki had watched the movie earlier overseas or something but in Japan it had just been released in the theaters very little before this manga chapter released, so Araki basically spoiled most of his readers lmfao. Creepy fact: the lady at the end of the episode was holding a baby in the manga... and when Pucci leaves, her nails growing and the eggs being all f*cked up are the least awful thing happening, as her baby turned into something really weird, having half of his face (and probably body) to be that of a baby and the other half to be that of a more grown person... But there is a specific reason why the production changed this in the anime. I will explain this to you at the right time. And if I'm not completely wrong, chicken eggs need 21 days until the chicks hatch. But this can also vary depending on the species. Of course, it was clear that Pucci would eventually gain a stand ability with time here, since almost all Villains had something to do with time. Even Kars, considering he ended up being Evolution itself, has something to do with time as well. You'll find out later what exactly Pucci's new ability is all about and what exactly the Heaven Plan has to do with the Kennedy Space Center. I don't have quite as much fanart today, as the ones I wanted to send don't exactly fit the episodes yet. So I'll post most of them next week.

Hi Hime :) “We're going to have a happy ending”, we're going to say that you may not be far from the truth, but it won't necessarily take the form you expect. Yes Pucci brought out some of Jolyne's power, but we're not at the end of the game, Jolyne has time to be pushed even more into a corner and become even more badass (I know, hard to imagine eh ). The "let's go of my stand" makes more sense with what Pucci says at the end, White Snake is no longer his stand, that's what Dio insinuated, letting his stand "die" to be reborn in a new one . Dio originally wanted this to happen to him and that's what happens in the video games that go in that direction. Miu Miu is the diminutive of Miuccia Miuller, she takes her name from the fashion designer Miuccia Prada, granddaughter of Mario Prada the founder of the brand of the same name, but she is also the creator of the subsidiary brand of Prada... Miu Miu. What's funny about Miu Miu's stand is that its name is Jailhousse LOCK, since it locks people's memories and is supposed to be used to keep prisoners locked up. However, since in Japanese the L and the R are the same sound, it is a pun by Araki on the Elvis song Jailhousse Rock. No no, you're right, I didn't remember, but the opening of the 24th is indeed different, it has a lot of text written in the same way that Jolyne wrote on her body to remember. We have to admit something though, David Prod has always been on point with these openings for the series.
