FF was alive, Weather Report was helping, then "he" wasn't lol, and then everything just happened so fast!!!! One thing's for sure though, Pucci learned NOT to mess with Jolyne!!!
I can't believe we almost got an Anasui/FF combo...!!!! I'm sad for FF, but they really got to live during their time, thanks to Jolyne!!! :') I'm gonna miss them! Oh yeah, Pucci got eaten, so speaking of combos of people....!!!! Can't wait for what's next! Great ep! Enjoy! ~ MH

Hahahaha for a split second I was like whoa! :P I think your assessment of Dio/Pucci's reasoning is pretty sound. It can't hurt to have someone who's genuinely loyal around! Yeah I didn't think of Weather Report helping either, that makes total sense though! Anasui is all attitude here for sure lol, I wasn't having it either. LOL it was giving total Neo vibes! We finally see the bone's origins and poor Anasui totally got the donut treatment. Yeah, Jolyne really did rub off on FF!! I'm not sure what the implications of them using their life/intellect will be. LOL you're smart to not trust the babies on this show actually, that's fair. I mean........I know it has 36 criminals in there but.....it's just a baby ^_^ It was a lot like Bruno's goodbye!! OHHHHHHHHHH you didn't have to go there with the comparison lol, ouch! OMG, you're right that the next two eps will be finale-like, or at least like a mid-season finale anyway. Oh yeah, I'm sure there's nothing to worry about :P

Lol apparently Dio and Pucci is a huge ship, it's actually how I got slightly spoiled for Dio's presence in Part 6, as I've explained in the past :P (Someone said they ship them back when I was watching Part 5) I kinda see it like a Pouf/Meruem situation from HxH, which is what I wanted to say in my reaction but didn't wanna spoil anyone lol. But yeah, we see a very different side of Dio! I love that Araki develops him a bit more every time we see him. That's the thing, we knew he was charming, but here we really get to see him using just straight charm/charisma with no added supernatural twist. LOL they were totally chilling like a sleepover, it's honest to God the first thing I thought - like this feels like me and a bestie back in the day only they're missing the teen magazines and boyband CDs playing in the background :P RIP FF!!!! They were a real one!!!!!!!! :(((((((((

Ohhhhh thanks for explaining the namesake! OMG the baby is Gojo!!! They are similar!!! Omg they were pretty cozy in that scene weren't they lol! Vanilla ice cream makes me think of Vanilla Ice lol, who I'm sure was also nearby :P Ooohhh I'm curious to see what the shapeshifting explanation is, it's been somewhat explained to me as something similar to what Whitesnake did in the visitation room dream sequence. OMG I'm very very curious about how my theory about Jolyne and Anasui raising the baby will come back later lol!!! Oooohhhh that's amazing, I love that you took the time to analyze the similar Stands!! I can think of a few more, like Hermit Purple and The Passion, Boingo and King Crimson (they can both technically predict the future)....but that's still pretty impressive considering there's SO many Stands and only a handful of similarities!!!! Our Araki Sensei is quite clever!

2024-03-19 14:58:23 +0000 UTCOh god no! We got FF back! That was such a sweet moment between FF and Forecast with the rain. I never thought what a good team they could be. That was a good moment that lasted 3 minutes. Man, that ambush attack had me quaking in anger. Everything was looking so good. I’m glad FF felt content to have made memories. Good memories. Geez okay I took it as a man’s devotion to his God but I can already tell people had fun with the idea of Dio and pucci. And I can’t unsee it. I saw it but I don’t believe it. That was a completely different Dio than who we knew. Never in a million years would I think to see Dio apologizing to anyone. Áraki does something different with Dio each time he’s prominent in a season. Season three was an alluring stunning persuasive type. Which was different from part one Dio. Here he seems more intimate rather than intimidating. If he’s acting here then he’s really good at it. I can see how he was able to convince others to join his cause. And there were die-hard loyal Dio supporters. We already knew he was good at persuading others. I can’t remember a time where we saw his methods in manipulating that wasn’t through physical means; only mentions of how good he is at it. And he is good. Especially by pulling on some emotional heart strings. But here we actually saw it. Like we were in the room with them. It just seems like a whole new Dio. They were just chilling like it was a sleepover lol. Man what an episode. RIP FF 🤘💧

2024-03-19 11:08:56 +0000 UTCI skipped this reaction because I didn’t think there was a whole lot that happened… okay, you weren’t buying that one for a second, were you? 😅 The thing I took away from the DIO/Pucci conversation is - one, Pucci has no desire to overthrow him because - he is far more interested in seeing how things actually play out - ironic, considering the obsession he portrayed earlier in the season. And two, DIO likes having him around because he’s figured out Pucci is one person he can trust enough to not worry about. While DIO would have no problem putting certain attitudes in order, looking over your shoulder all the time wondering who’s gunning for you today, even as an immortal, can be rather exhausting. I didn’t think about Weather Report as a possible solution for FF’s problem - they dropped that nugget a while ago and now I feel silly I hadn’t remembered it sooner. I don’t know if I like the attitude Annasui is giving off to both Weather and FF, though - it seems over the top jealous, which is never a good thing. I’m not sure exactly what happened with White Snake transmuting but the first thing I thought of was, did someone steal Neo’s Semblance again? I didn’t quite see what happened to FF but Anasui got donuted - clever twist. And we finally realize where the bone started at. Anasui wanting to give up his body to FF and then FF refusing to take it, but rather to say adieu - I guess you could say some of Jolyne’s ideals rubbed off on them. They said they used their life and intellect, so what’s that gonna look like? Just before Pucci was eaten - he said I will now experience this world as a part of you or something g like that. I don’t trust babies on this show. Never have, never will. Especially one with 36 first class criminal souls. That can’t be good. FF saying goodbye is a very Bruno like moment isn’t it? “They killed FF, brought them back and then we lost them all over again.” FF also wears green. Remind you of any other characters with that description? 👀 You should treat next week as a season finale, as Episode 24 technically wraps up Part 2 of this season (remember these all came out at different times). I’m sure everything will be COMPLETELY AND UTTERLY NORMAL. Yup! 😁

Because it was from the moment they took Atroe's body and lived with Jolyne that they truly became who they were. For a trans person like me, this is a beautiful message. The green baby's stand is Green, Green Grass of Home, a namesake of the song Green, Green Grass of Home, Tom Jones sang it but it's an old song. The baby's power is Gojo, it's his infinity that prevents anyone from reaching him. I don't know if Gege got the idea from seeing Jojo or if he was inspired by it, but the two are similar in a certain way. Dio and Pucchi seem really very close, there is a fascination between the two. Dio has found someone to talk to as an equal and Pucchi is inspired by Dio. But there, both on the same bed, all that's missing is a movie and some vanilla ice cream lol. White Snake taking on Weather's appearance will make more sense later, I can just tell you that. I need to remember this phrase "Jolyne and Anasui raising the good baby", because it might take on some meaning later. Also, apart from these two episodes, when I was having trouble falling asleep one night and thinking about what you said about similar power stands like Doo Doo Doll and Little Feet making people smaller, I took it upon myself to count how many stands and similar power there were. I am of course excluding the ability to throw punches, many have it in the end. Stardust Crusaders: 33 stands Diamond is Unbreakable: 25 stands Golden Wind: 26 stands Stone Ocean: 23 stands For the similarities: -Little Feet and Doo Doo Doll - Osiris, Atum and Marilyn Manson (with a bit of The Lock) In a sense Khnum (Oingo) and Earth Wind and Fire (Mikitaka) with the possibility of transforming yourself, even if Earth Wind and Fire is more powerful than Khnum. - Star Platinuim and The World. 107 stands in total, with only a dozen which are similar, that's very little in the end and proves Araki's inventiveness.

I'd like to say right at the beginning that you didn't really understand the point of the baby. Pucci doesn't want to use the baby to bring Dio back, but simply to realize Dio's plan for heaven. The baby is the key to Pucci being able to give people "heaven". I don't want to say any more about this yet, because it will be explained in more detail later. You'll understand exactly what it's all about in the next 2 episodes at the latest. Nevertheless, I think it's very sweet that you still haven't abandoned your plan that the baby might be a help for the Joestar bloodline after all. Personally, it never occurred to me because Pucci himself said that it was created from the evil souls of gangsters. And if anything comes from Dio himself, it can't be good. We also learned that the bone really comes from Dio's head. And therefore it is impossible that it has anything to do with the Joestar bloodline. I really never understood myself why the baby has the star. The only reason I can think of is that I can't explain it yet, because it doesn't appear until episode 25. I think the scene between Pucci and Dio on the bed is the reason why a lot of people are shipping Dio and Pucci together. Personally, I think that's complete nonsense. First of all, when you consider that Pucci was 16 years old when he met Dio. And that's pretty disgusting when you remember that Dio was over 100 years old at the time. Besides, Pucci himself has said that he loves Dio the way other people love their god. And since Dio's name translates as God in Italian, that makes a lot of sense. And he worships him, so to speak, as you rightly said. I also find it interesting to see that we see a completely different side of Dio in this flashback, that he can also be very empathetic when he wants to be. But I personally think he's more likely to use that for manipulative things to get closer to people. It worked very well in Parts 1 and 3. And if he doesn't get anywhere with flattery, he just uses violence. My personal theory is that he never really loved anyone in his life except his mother, who he lost because of Dario's bad behavior, and a bit Jonathan. I think he liked him more as a brother than he might have let on, because when he realized Jonathan was dead, he looked a bit shocked. Unfortunately, we also lost F.F in this episode. Their situation reminded me a bit of Bruno's. You thought they were dead at first, then they weren't, but in the end they die anyway. Which hurts even more. I have to admit that I was never a big fan of F.F. They were the ones who appeared very late in the part and then didn't have that much interaction with the other characters. There were funny moments with them, but on the whole I could never form a deeper bond with them than with the other Jojo characters. Anasui was the one who was introduced last, but he somehow got so much personality and character that I could immediately sympathize with him, even if he's not always the nicest person. Anasui and F.F dynamics also really reminded me of Iggy's and Polnareff's relationship. And that makes FF death a bit more tragic considering they saved Anasui's life. I also didn't think their death scene was particularly sad. You felt more relieved that F.F was still able to live a good life, had a soul for a short time and made beautiful memories with her friends. I have to admit that their death are the only Jojo death that doesn't make me cry. And that's actually saying something about how well all the other deaths were written. I also wanted to explain to you how Pucci managed to make Whitesnake look like Weather Report. Do you remember episodes 3 and 4 with the dream sequence of Jotaro and Jolyne? He used something similar here, because that's another of Whitesnake's abilities that Pucci doesn't seem to use that often. And then I wanted to briefly address your question about what Caesar Stand might look like. I'm not sure if he'll even have a humanoid stand, but bubbles would actually be very appropriate for him. He could make it a combination with Hamon, like he did in the fight against Wamuu. And that would actually be pretty strong. And since the stand would perhaps be made of bubbles, he could get through even the smallest slits. But of course it would also be very vulnerable if enemy stands were to disturb the bubbles. I had a lot to say again today, so I'll devote the second commentary to fanart.
