Hey everyone! Here it is - my reaction to episode 19 of Frieren! Oh dang, this plan was so well thought out! It makes total sense that if it's hard to catch the Stille, all we need to do is change some conditions so that they come to us. The only flaw in that plan was drawing all the other mages to us too! :/ Gotta say, I'm getting shifty vibes off of a lot of these mages haha, I'm worried! And Fern's crew is also learning firsthand what it means to be the ones with the bird!!! Can't wait to see more! Great ep! Enjoy! ~ MH

2024-03-08 15:34:37 +0000 UTCI got a hunger games vibe from this one. That was smart. Frierens really utilizing these girls to the fullest. It’s a super smart strategy and so ballsy I love it! I think as long as Fern and green hair are on the same team we should be good. At least I hope so.

2024-03-08 12:10:17 +0000 UTCTo be honest, I get more of a RWBY Volume 1 exam vibe from this part of the story then I do Hunter x Hunter because of the concept of teamwork here. The crux of this particular episode of course, is Frieren’s ability to size up her allies’ strengths and come up with a coherent strategy. The flashback with Himmel and Eisen kind of reminds her about the same sort of emotions Stark dealt with earlier in the season: it’s okay to be unsure, or be concerned - it means you aren’t taking the situation lightly. The real important thing is whether you trust your teammates or not. Obviously Fern has her own hands busy with Wirbel’s group - but I did have to start snickering when Ehre, who she’s fighting, started to mock her style. The girl isn’t looking for style points, she’s looking for success. Also you should know better than to mess with Grandma! Right? (Ok I’ll stop 😂)
