Hey everyone! Here I am with Jojo Part 6, episode 15!! Oh wow guys, we get a little bit of everything in this one - a Dio flashback, a chaotic Stand, a prison brawl, and getting to know our new friend a little better! I've gotta say, erm, he's not scared to make a commitment, so that's good! The murder thing is a bit of a red flag...but let's decide to believe the best in him for now lol. I'm also really curious to learn more about his Stand! It kinda looks like he can phase through things? Is that part of the disassembling thing? Guess we'll find out! Great ep! Enjoy! ~ MH

LOL I mean they sell lots of other figures but you know me, I'm all about my Nendoroids :D (And other chibi figures) Hahahha for real this guy KNOWS us so well now, like we're his best customers hahaha!! Yeah I'm totally right when I say it's gonna be extra wild if we start with the opening! It's good that we all have the Sports Max info for sure. Yeah when it comes to anything that's emerged from Dio's body, ordinary logic cannot possibly apply. That's true, we get the benefit of seeing him just chilling with someone who isn't a Joestar here. That's true about the possible overpopulation discussion, I was kinda wondering if he had a Thanos idea up his sleeve too. Exactly, that's a great way to sum up Dio's discussion. Oof, the callback to VS hurts but is so accurate! Hahaha I mean Anasui has sort of a....unique way of approaching marriage! OMG I know, like poor Jotaro is just a husk right now, little does he know he's got villains to face and marriages to bless once we (hopefully/probably) get that memory disc back to him :P LOL!!!!! The bone to pick pun is just chef's kiss!!! And they totally broke the first rule of Fight Club here!!!

Survivor is kinda powerful but so volatile that yeah, it's not really that useful for someone who wants to use it in a controlled way. It can also kill the user, good point! Ohhhh so we never get the CD thing explained? Interesting! Ok well I'm glad that's not just something I missed lol. OMG YAY!!!!! I'm so happy I got that little trivia bit about the ship on my own!!!! I can't wait to know more about Pucci!!!! I'm dying to see more!!!!!!!

I mean… they aren’t gonna have any trouble finding business anytime soon… 🤭 You say this about the opening every time they start with it and you’re not wrong but I maintain when you really have to buckle your seatbelt on a show is when they roll the opening credits - without the opening. It seems like the Sports Maximum disc has gotten around to just about everyone, even Emporio at this point - so we at least have an idea of what Jolyne is up to. I’m not going to spend a lot of time theorizing on why White Snake had DIO’s bone - but I think we can all agree we aren’t surprised it’s acting independently. You were mentioning that DIO seems calmer in these scenes, and that’s true: but also remember most of the time we see him facing off against a Joestar and he’s amped up. Here he’s just having a conversation with someone he doesn’t completely detest. I don’t know how much I put into the “there can only be so many souls at a time” theory - but I did wonder if this is a crack at saying the world has too many people, sounds like it could be. It’s a plot thread that’s been discussed in other stories (not so much this one.) The discussion about Survivor is interesting as I think the point DIO was trying to make was every User applies their Stand differently and does what works for them in particular. A cook needs different tools to do their job than a king. Survivor might be weak according to DIO, but look how many problems it causes just by it’s effect. It doesn’t actively target anything, or manipulate anybody - it just preys on emotion - which as we know, is a distinct problem with the coexistence of human lives. (Vinland Saga anybody?) So Anasui(?) is willing to help as long as Jolyne marries him? And he wants FF to give him their blessing? You’re getting a little ahead of yourself… last time I checked the girl had to say yes before you could tie the knot. Isn’t it a little old fashioned to get hitched to somebody you never met? I get the feeling this will be interesting… Oh, Jotaro. Because of the Stand disc recovery he’s out of a coma, but he’s basically a vegetable until he gets his memory back. A blank slate if you will. He’s alive, but he wouldn’t recognize anything. One problem at a time. I knew when there was that much water on the floor the Survivor Stand was involved… apparently DIO gave it to Pucci somehow. Either way, I guess a lot of people have a bone to pick with Jolyne and each other… last one STANDing wins. Oh wait, you don’t talk about fight club. 👀

Like I get what the appeal is, but I'm that guy in the movie telling people not to go on a date with Ted Bundy. Victim 1: He's really so soft hearted and he loves poetry. Me: Pretty sure this guy has bad news written all over him. Victim 2: It's alright, I'll go with her to make sure she's safe. Me: Up to you, anyways I'm gonna go watch the classic underdog movie "Bad News Bears" starring Walter Matthau and Tatum O'Neal. No reason in particular...

Unfortunately, this episode didn't focus on him as much as I would have liked, but that will come later. You'll definitely get to know him better. As I've already announced, his introduction isn't exactly the best. You don't get a good impression of Anasui. But that will change in the course of the part. I found the story about Survivor really interesting. I've always wanted to know what the worst stand would be and I definitely wasn't expecting a story like this. Survivor isn't particularly useful because it can also kill the stand user if you're not really careful. I've also always wondered how exactly Pucci got the stand, since it was never explained how he was able to get Survivor onto a CD. Your guess was really right, because Araki really did make a little reference to Part 1 here, since Dio assembled the exact ship where he was with Jonathan at the end of Part 1. You'll also find out later, in Pucci's backstory, how he met Dio and how he got to Whitesnake. Pucci's backstory really is one of the best backstories in all of Jojo.
