Hey everyone! Here I am with Jojo Part 6, episode 8!! OMG!!!!!!!!! So much going on in this one! I love that this creature was something other than just a Dio or Whitesnake loyalist. And the show of respect and mercy from Jolyne was just fantastic!!! She made the right call! And dang, that's how we're gonna get the person from the intro then haha. Last but not least, our main villain has finally surfaced in person!!!!! That makes SO MUCH SENSE honestly! What on earth could be in Jotaro's memories that he wanted more than Star Platinum?!?!?! Can't wait for more! Great ep! Enjoy! ~ MH

Yeah me too!!! OMG that's so cool, this must've been even more special for you then! I know, they're awesome! There you go, they took the scenic route but they got us to having that green haired character from the intro haha! Ermes is really cool too, and I'm liking the growing friendship between her and Jolyne!!!!

And let me say I love the Foos! Who doesn't love the Foos? If we were to get an enemy-turned-ally into the mix, it should have something to do with Foo Fighters! I was wondering how that meekish personality was going to turn into that boisterous-looking personality we see in the opening. Now I know. I'm digging Ermes so far. Her style is so awesome. I love that Jolyne put so much trust in her.

2024-02-06 15:03:41 +0000 UTCI know these videos can get kinda long, which is honestly just a reflection of how I'm feeling about the series/what I want to get across....so my best suggestion would be don't feel obligated to watch them all at once if that's not working for you :) Hahahaha clearly this is the work of an enemy Stand! Oof, sounds like you could use some Crazy Diamond to fix up that yard :/ Good luck with it! Haha no worries, I didn't know half of what was going on in this one, so getting a few things wrong is no big deal! Lol she's got a lot of Jotaro in her doesn't she?! Good call that Jolyne's compassion was enough to stop FF in their tracks. Yeah I'm not sure about the disc!!! Maybe they should've just had FF go in fishy form to do that first?? Oh that's true, we haven't seen them on screen together, but I think maybe that was just because we were cutting to a non-Stand-user POV. I could be wrong though! Yeah the intro totally faked us out! And they faked a donut with Jolyne! Yare yare indeed! I'm watching the next four next....so we'll find out soon enough!

The letters were a big tipoff about Ermes' Stand lol, I didn't notice until after! OMG I can't wait to get to know Ermes better! I'm so glad I got the similarities to the Joseph/Wamuu situation, but thank you for being ready to point it out in case I didn't! Jolyne really is a Joestar! Ohhhh glad I didn't get that wrong about FF! I'm curious to see how their healing ability works! That's really cool that this character is technically non-binary! Thanks for clearing up the pronouns! Omg the VA is also the one for MY SON?!?!!?!? That's amazing!!! Oooh interesting about the inspiration for Pucci's name too! We're doing a lot of fashion references this time around. Oohhhh good call about Dio meaning God, and also your father/Dio comment makes so much more sense now!! OMG I'm just about to watch Frieren and I'm so excited hahaha!!!

Also one of my favorite parts to see people react to has to be when the green-haired girl that appears in the OP literally blow up. xD No one sees it coming. ...Though I do have to say, I wouldn't mind seeing a Part 6 where Foo Fighters AND the Green Haired Girl joined up(surviving due to stand nonsense, no doubt)... Though considering that Green Haired Girl's backstory.... Maybe it's for the best that they only had Foo Fighters. Maybe.

2024-02-06 14:27:39 +0000 UTCFinally finishing up this batch, selfishly, I kinda hope the next couple of Natchez are a bit shorter, cause this whole session took four hours for me to get through, lol. Hey, by the way, speaking of Stands, A) are you sure the subtitles looking different is not the result of a Stand B) do you know any that clean up damaged yards? Still recovering from the ice storm out here. Okay well, I was wrong, it wasn’t the black haired girl, and the one who was killed was Atroe, I just remembered wrong. My bad. But hey, we’re you expecting me to say the correct answer? Also I think FF might have been referring to the two male inmates they killed on the last chapter. Cut to the theme. We really do see more this episode about how Jolyne is a lot like Jotaro without effort. She beats up the rest of the inmates because she’s tired of thinking, and she comes up with the strategy to dry out FF on her feet. As Ermes says, she’s a little bit on the crazy side. But most Joestars are. It’s interesting that FF is making its choices totally based on logical decisions and the need to survive, which could be a nod to the discussion about intelligence not being exclusive to humans. Every thing that lives has a “survival instinct.” So Jolyne’s “compassion” toward it tended to confuse its logic circuits, but we can always use another ally, right? Speaking of Allies, now that disc has to get sent to the foundation, but how are we getting it past the guards and out of the prison!? Yare, yare… That sure does look like White Snake’s Stand User, but was it a shapeshifter? Because I didn’t see both of them on screen together, (Father Pucchi and White Snake), so now I have questions. I wasn’t wrong about the intro pulling a fast one though, that character did die, we’re just putting in a Bruno type situation with the corpse here. Also they kind of faked out Jolyne getting a hole punch earlier. Yare, yare… four episodes left in this section. Where’s it all gonna end up? 😅

2024-02-05 21:01:49 +0000 UTCI don't really have much to say about these two episodes, as I personally don't like rewatching them either. One reason for this is that I don't find the fight all that exciting, to be honest, once you know who your user is, and secondly, I don't particularly like FF as a character either. Somehow I didn't really like the female characters in this part (except Jolyne). The best thing about it was, as you said, that there was a moment similar to the one with Joseph and Wamuu, that Jolyne let FF live and even saved their lives. Of course, the highlight was Pucci's brief appearance. I'm looking forward to the future episodes where you get to know him more, because he's my third favorite Jojo Villain from the whole series. Since I don't have more to say, I'll skip right to the fanart in the next comment.

2024-02-05 20:37:44 +0000 UTCHi Hime :) Emporio wasn't really in Jolyne's dream, it was what Jolyne imagined, everything she saw was what she imagined possible. Whether it was what Jotaro told her, the secret passage etc, it was all a figment of her imagination. For McQueen's stand, it is not named in the episode itself, but it is "Higway to Hell", rather good thinking for the stand of a suicidal person. Hermes's stand is indeed Kiss and you can actually see it written on the front of the stand, from top to bottom with the letters K.I.S.S. As for Hermes, when you learn more about her, about why she was taken to prison and her past, I'm sure you'll love her even more (just prepare some tissue just in case). Jolyne sparing FF, is very reminiscent of Joseph and Wamuu, I wrote it in my notes, but you mention it yourself in your outro. Jolyne really has this chivalrous Joestar side in her. No no, you read correctly, FF can heal, but in its own way ^^' It's not a healing ability equal to Josuke or Giorno, but you have the first healer in the group. For their gender, since it's an accumulation of organism, they/them can work, which would make them Jojo's first non-binary character lol. Oh and by the way, Atroe/FF are voiced by Mariya Ise, Killua in HxH ^^. About Atroe, as it is said, she dreamed of being kidnapped, and as an adult she ended up kidnapping a child, but without harming him or asking for ransom, it was just to find out what it felt like. This info is just to demonstrate that Atroe was perhaps "strange" but not dangerous. You finally meet the user of Whitesnake, father Enrico Pucci, he is named after two Italian fashion designers, Enrico Coveri but especially Emilio Pucci. It ultimately seems logical that a man of the church would be with Dio (god), but now I can finally complete what I was saying. Do you remember that I said that “father” and “Dio” in the same sentence could make jojofan smile? The first answer is of course for Giorno, but here is the second, since father Pucci and Dio have a pretty special relationship, you will see for yourself. But since someone already told you that she ships them together, you already suspect it lol. Side note too, but keep the words "priest" and "Dio" in the back of your mind, it could make you smile in the next episode of Frieren ^^.
