Hey everyone! Here I am with Jojo Part 6, episode 5!! WOW you guys, what the actual fudge!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm still in shock over how this one went. Like talk about twists within twists, as if the dream thing wasn't enough, and the two Stand users thing wasn't enough, now we have someone who can steal Stands?!?!!?! Holy crap!!! Whitesnake is freaking terrifying!!!
Now we've got a soulless, not quite alive Jotaro, Jolyne has turned herself back in, and our new friend Emporio finally gave us his backstory. Sheesh!!! This one was a real rollercoaster ride! He's gonna be okay you guys, he has to be!!!!!!!! Great ep! Enjoy! ~ MH

I knoooowwww!!! He loves his baby girl!!!! He is a loving person under the rougher exterior for sure. Lol I was so shocked he was not a ghost! I've never seen Orange is the New Black, but I've always been curious, so it's interesting to know that this isn't too far off in a lot of ways haha. What a way to have grown up within the walls of a prison. This is getting even more interesting. See, it is going to be like Orange is the new Black! They won't make an intro like that, so we could sail the seas in two seconds.

Omg were they laser discs?! I thought they were CDs haha, but I haven't seen a CD in so long maybe I misjudged the size :P Yeah I think you're right that the other disc was Jotaro's spirit, and probably his memories too. OMG Speedwagon Foundation is totally deus ex machina but I love them haha. Ahhhhh you're so right, there are lots of examples of that aren't there :(((((( I'm just praying this doesn't stick!!!! Ahhhhh definitely stop!!! :P Yeah I kinda assumed that because Emporio was nearby the visitation room, maybe he was pulled into it? He also seems to know quite a bit about how it works, I'm assuming because of what happened to his mom. But yeah, there probably is more to it.

2024-01-30 14:40:01 +0000 UTCHi Spadeas! :) Oh that's a good call about him seeing Stands! Others have noticed Jolyne's threads so that didn't stand out to me, but seeing Whitesnake is a big tip-off! Yeah someone cleared that up for me after about the guy who looked like Jotaro, although I'm still confused as to why someone was there who was dressed just like him lol! Poor Jolyne! Oh you're so right about her Stand, she is looking for connections!!! Her whole Stand is about reaching out!!! Poor sweet girl, I just wanna hug her! OMG isn't her voice work so good??? I'm so glad we got to hear her range. Hahah she totally has a lot of Jotaro's attitude/coolness!!! Yes that character's name did start with a P! :P Oh boy, sounds like quite the story!!! Yeah that's so true, lots of the folks in the prison are probably not going to be the best people in the world! I'm glad we'll have some healers though! Thank you so much for the name info too, I never would have guessed Johngalli A's namesake and I couldn't hear them saying Manhattan Transfer! OMG I was totally thinking of it after that Jotaro is now in the position that Holly was in Part 3!!!! That's so true! Awwwwww I love the subtle changes in the intro reflecting Jolyne's feelings about Jotaro!!! Ohhhh I'm glad I kinda got that right about the "data" disc!!!! Yeah so he got his info/memories and Stand, dang! Ohhhh that's interesting about the dissolving! It does make sense with the whole snake thing but honestly, having the power to take someone's Stand is already pretty OP lol. I can't wait to know more!!!

Usually when they have one, there’s a reason they’re bringing up what they put in them as related to the upcoming episode, as a general rule. I meant to say this earlier today but you mentioned “Joestars like their blondes…” - are you sure you’re not just saying that because… your hair is blond? 🙃 Asking for a friend. The whole White Snake ability is a real kind bender - it’s almost impossible to tell the difference. It kind of reminds me of that scene in Demon Slayer where you had to keep “killing” yourself to wake up. Those are quite the large discs that he took out of the Jotaro CD player - I’d say now I’ve seen everything, but I know better. Actually, they’re probably laser discs at that size, so odds are we can’t find a player for them. XD Speaking of which, my guess is one disc had the Stand and the other has Jotaro’s “spirit” on it. Kind of like recording your personality for upload, although this isn’t exactly a benign transaction. The Speedwagon Foundation feels like it’s like a deus ex machina on “speed dial,” doesn’t it? They’re always there for whatever they need… also Jotaro did break Jolyne out… there just wasn’t any specifics about her deciding to go back IN. Which begs the question - what’s going to happen to his body in the meantime? You don’t want to hear this but I’m gonna say it anyway - this is not the first time in a reaction series where we’ve “saved” a character only to not have it end up sticking. We have MULTIPLE examples of that. So while you might enjoy this show - I don’t know how far you should trust it. Like I said earlier, you did ask for Jotaro and time on screen with his daughter… 🙃 Okay I’ll stop. Or WILL I? 👀 Oh, we still haven’t addressed how Emporio could contact Jolyne inside the illusion. And… what did his mom have that White Snake took? Sounds like it might be important. I guess we really don’t need to worry about the other one anymore though…

2024-01-29 22:59:39 +0000 UTCHey Melissa, I'm commenting a little late today because my day was pretty stressful. But I still managed to watch your reactions. The three episodes were really action-packed, but also very confusing. Especially everything with Johngalli A's Stand and White Snake was really complicated for me at the beginning when I watched it for the first time. The whole dream sequence itself I thought was really cool, but it also was very misleading, not just for the characters, but also for the audience. But that's what we love about Jojo, that you don't know exactly what's going on and then together with the characters you figure out how to solve the situation. In this episode we also finally got to see Jotaro. You know how I feel about Jotaro's Part 6 outfit and my opinion still hasn't changed. You also get to see a bit more of the relationship between father and daughter and as I've already hinted, it's not exactly the best. But like Jotaro said, he did it all to protect Jolyne. And we also saw in the fifth episode that the enemy was actually after Jotaro and not Jolyne. So far we don't quite know why, but the reason isn't as obvious as you might think. I already knew, that you knew the name of the Part 6 Main Villain, but I think it's cool that you mentioned it in the video and how you found out about it. You will get to know this person soon in the next episodes and also the reason why he gets shipped with Dio. I still can't quite understand why some people do that. I also liked all your theories about Emporio. I also really had the same thoughts in the beginning, before I knew what he actually was or what the reason was for him helping Jolyne. I also really thought he was a ghost, which would have made sense somewhere because normally there are no children in prison. But the reason why he's there is pretty logical. I think the reason White Snake, or rather, the user of the Stand, killed Emporio's mother is simply because the mother had a Stand ability that White Snake found interesting or useful and so he stole her Stand. And we all know that the Stand is a part of your soul and you can't live without your Stand. The second disc you saw also has a purpose. But you'll find that out in the next few episodes. I can at least say that Emporio has seen White Snake and is able to see Jolyne's thread and he said that White Snake stole his mother's ability, so you can assume he is a stand user. No, it's not that Jolyne didn't remember Jotaro's face, it's that she hoped it was him when it wasn't the case. It's implied that she caused a lot of trouble to get Daddy Jotaro's attention. Which gives even more meaning to her stand, which is thread, because she is looking for connections, whether it be the problems when she was younger, to connect with her father, or later with Romeo. Jolyne is a young woman who seeks connections. And to answer you too, yes I heard her voice, Jolyne is my favorite for that too (even before she had a voice), because she can be a little silly/goofy, but she's badass when she's serious. The scene where she uses her wire to deflect bullets without even looking at her opponent, she has the coolness of her father (and a little bit of his attitude lol). About the character with whom the person you met was shipping Dio, did his name start with a P ? We'll come back to it later, when this character appears, but there are some juicy details. We will have some skills resembling healers, but don't forget that we are in prison, even if we know that Jolyne is innocent, this is not the case for everyone here ^^. Johngalli A Refers to the designer John Galliano, his stand is Manhattan Transfer, in relation to the acappella group The Manhattan Transfer. For Whitesnake, you know already lol. I told you Jotaro was going to be the equivalent of another Kujo/Joestar, but it's not Joseph, it's Holly. Jotaro is going to be the one Jolyne is going to try to save. Now that you've seen that, I can tell you the first change of the opening, towards the end of those you've seen so far, Jolyne heads towards the bars with Jotaro behind her, Jotaro only being seen from his back. This symbolizes the distance between them and the fact that Jolyne refuses his help at first. In the next few, instead of going near the bars, Jolyne will rest against Jotaro's back, showing the evolution of Jolyne's feelings for her father and her desire to save him and reach him again. White Snake stole Jotaro's stand as well as his "spirit", there's a little more than that in it, of course and I want to congratulate you, because your first intuition is the right one, the disk with the image of Jotaro is effectively a data disk, his memory. Now, this is a spoiler without being one, but the power to dissolve people, will never be seen again. I think Araki wanted to make it Whitesnake's main power, since it dissolved people like it was being digested in the belly of a snake, but given the fact that it is not suitable for combat as such, has drifted onto something else and will not use it again. We can imagine another version, but you will have to learn more about Whitesnake's powers for that.
