Hey everyone! Here I am with Jojo Part 5, episode 39!! WOW you guys!!! So this wasn't a one-off adventure - it actually tied into the ending perfectly! That prediction was eerie....and to think that their fates were all sort of flexible at that moment, before things really got underway...!! It was also fun to have a nice Mista-focused adventure since I love him lol. But WOW, nothing prepared me for seeing that rock and seeing you know who come crawling out from under it!!!!!!!! OMGGGGGGGGGGGG HE'S BACK!!!!!!!!! Kinda, anyway!!!! And now he and Mista are right at Giorno's side as he takes his place on the throne!!!!!!! Those Golden Winds of change are rolling in! I absolutely loved this!!! What an ep, what a finale, what a Part!!!!!!!!!!! I'm gonna miss Golden Wind!!!!!!!! Great ep! Next stop: Purple Haze Feedback and Stone Ocean!!!! Enjoy! ~ MH

2024-03-26 20:51:32 +0000 UTCLol it was rather confusing, I have to admit! That actually makes so much sense that this finale was all about fate and Bruno's decision to keep after his goal despite the consequences. Also a fair point that he was maybe training a "replacement" in a way. Good point about the other members who didn't make it too. Yeah that's the thing - is it all kind of predestined? And if it is, how would that affect your decisions? LOL!!!! I would LOVE for that to be in Part 6 hahahha!!!! Hey, anything is possible...!!!!

2024-01-22 15:13:36 +0000 UTCI’ll just pop in quick here: first, you do seem to get confused and have to stop episodes a lot when they do the anime “flashback” thing (from last episode) - just double check the Ep number before you cut to recording, it might not happen to you as often? Regarding this episode, it’s more of an epilogue: I think the main point is the reveal of Bruno’s awareness if his fate: the truth is, during this entire experience, pun intended, Bruno knew he wasn’t going to make it. He ran into Giorno by chance and wasn’t working with a partner - he was, in fact, grooming a replacement. Also, I find it interesting that the mafia members who did not survive (sans Giorno because he’s not applicable yet here), are not present in this story. The focus is Bruno’s fate so I exclude him. The question becomes, do your fates control you, or do you control your own fate? Do choices mean anything or does it not matter what you do, certain things must happen? (Mista’s gun jamming with a loaded bullet for example). And if you know, would you take the easy way out or would you put up with more crap to leave things better than you found them? I think we know what the answer for most of them was. Part 6 is probably Jotaro vs. Polnareff - the turtle seeks his revenge for the bathroom shenanigans. But now that you mention it, Italy is not that far from Egypt…..

2024-01-21 07:26:10 +0000 UTCOMG that series sounds amazing first of all, second it sounds a lot like the Polnareff situation!!! I mean, at that point you're kinda both alive and dead right? Thanks for letting me know about the series! I mean nothing is Jojo hahah but it sounds like it is pretty bizarre in its own right!!!

2024-01-18 15:23:39 +0000 UTCI know, I actually love how it all came full circle! Yeah apparently there was a scene in the manga where they discover Bruno's body but for some reason it was taken out of the anime. I love the nods to them at the end though! OHHHHH was it a wake?! I didn't even catch that!!! That went so far over my head lol. Good call that this is the closest Mista can get to basic black lol, technically it's still a more somber form of his usual hues! I know, can you believe I got that for Christmas?! My brother got it for me and he's never seen Jojo so he couldn't have known. Yeah that's possible that they're in dark colored clothing for that reason. Never even crossed my mind, wow! Good call! I know, Mista and Giorno being the two to make it out and rebuild makes a lot of sense. And Polnareff!!!! They for sure have to connect/reconnect with the Joestars now!!!! Also, for some mind blowing art on that subject please see Leonie's comments above hehe, you're gonna love it! Yeah I hope she somehow found the house too, technically he said that to Doppio so I'm not sure how she would have known, but still! Yeah it's nice to think of her forging her own path and having a peaceful life with maybe some cameos if they ever need her! Oh I know, I totally thought they were just doing a random story lol, I love that it actually fit here too. I agree, this part was SO GOOD!!!! I love them too and I'm gonna miss them soooo much!!!!!!!!!!

2024-01-18 15:21:59 +0000 UTCHi Spadeas! :) You guessed right lol! Ok thanks for clarifying! I was starting to pick up on the death loop thing but I wasn't quite there! It is kind of an ironic way for him to go out isn't it? Oooh so we're not done with the rewind concept, perhaps?? Honestly I love the time Stands, there's so much you can do with them! Right, Bruno was always on track to confront the boss....the others, I guess their fate was in flux. I actually like the idea of Mista and Trish together, and I wasn't really sold on it until that last scene with the sniffing and laughing haha, but yeah, in any event, I think it's safe to say that they're close! How could you not be close after living in each other's bodies for a bit haha! Hahahaha love the turtle pun and I totally get it even more now!!!! It was totally a layered pun! I love Mista too, wow that's awesome that he's your overall fave!!! I've heard that Giorno tends to be the least favorite Jojo, I have a lot of my own thoughts on it that I didn't get to share in my outro haha but maybe I will at some point! OMG I'm not ready for this whole journey to be over, I'm sure I'll be a mess during the finale! I'm told it's the best finale ever!!! I'm watching the first two eps tomorrow, can't wait!!!!!!!!!

2024-01-18 15:16:11 +0000 UTCHi Alex!!!! So good to hear from you! I hope things are calming down now that the holidays are over! No worries, I'm happy to hear your feedback! Ohhhh ok I was wondering which was the real name, thanks! I used to be into King Crimson a long time ago and I'm sure I heard the whole album through at least once, I'll have to go back and revisit it now that Araki has given it new meaning!! So awesome that he based the whole character on it, wow!!! I've heard about the translation/confusion issues :/ Ohhh ok!! Well I'm glad I was at least somewhat on track! Thanks for clarifying! Yeah I think it's way worse than Kars!!! It was SO good!! Yes, I loved the emphasis on fate in the Sleeping Slave arc. I can see Trish going off and doing her own thing too, I guess it's up for interpretation!! I loved the ending SO much!!! Giorno's such a boss, literally! I'm about halfway through PHF and LOVE it!!! Would highly recommend it! I can't wait to give you guys my review! I'm dying to see Stone Ocean!!!! I'll look forward to your feedback on that too!!! XD

2024-01-18 14:38:15 +0000 UTCHi Hime! It's been a while since I've commented, the holidays we're brutal. There have been a few things I've been wanting to mention, though I apologize if I'm just regurgitating stuff that's been said in other comments but I'm also not sure if any of this has been stated So "Eulogy", is basically a sub stand kind of like "Sheer Heart Attack" and the actual name is "Epitaph" which is a song from the album "In the Court of the Crimson King" - which I highly recommended listening to! I feel like Araki based Diavolo's whole character on this album. Also, this part was not so well received in the west when the manga was first being fan-translated. It was so poorly translated it caused so much confusion, especially when it came to how King Crimson worked. So you're on the right track about what's happening to Diavolo. Though King Crimson predictions are not part of it. Diavolo is basically stuck in a death loop. He's experiencing different ways of dying and he's actually physically feeling all of the things. Most likely due to Gold Experience Requiem. Right before Diavolo is about to die in a certain situation, the loop resets and this is going to go on for all time. And it's gotten him so freaked out that he's at the point where he's afraid of a little girl. Honestly, I do think this is a worse way to go than Kars lol But man, what a part, right?! The sleeping slave story added so much in my opinion and just adds to the overall arching theme of the entire series: fate. And the ending of Giorno as the boss was just perfect. Although I can definitely see Trish not really wanting to be a part of all of this anymore and just wanting to live her own life. I honestly have not read Purple Haze Feedback but I'm excited to see what your thoughts are!! But I definitely cannot wait for Stone Ocean!!! I have some tidbits I want to mention but I think I'll wait until the first reaction :)

2024-01-17 07:52:02 +0000 UTCFor real!!! I think this is definitely worse than Kars too! OMG I know, we like never addressed what on earth Chariot Requiem was gonna do! GER was also scary in its power level. I don't even know how I feel about that arrow still being around but maybe we can use it to help us fight the next villain? So I kinda get keeping it around for now. Oh that's true, setting up the Rolling Stone arc would spoil the deaths, but then again it would kinda be a novel idea to keep everyone guessing on "is this it" especially with Bruno "surviving" the first run in. So true, it would kinda put Giorno into question more too! That's a possible reason of why he did it at the end - so that Giorno's takeover didn't have to be explored in depth. :P Fortunately I'm reading Purple Haze Feedback which is supposed to shed more light on that! OMG I know, it was the stuff of nightmares for sure!!! I don't blame you, anything dark and scary is a hard pass for me too haha.

2024-01-17 00:05:32 +0000 UTCOh wow. The Rolling Stones story was good on its own but how it connects to the now was definitely appreciated and needed. I love how it tied things together. Before the final scene I would have been fine with them moving on and discovering about Bruno soon enough because the sculptor’s dialogue about their hardships ended being someone else’s hope really helped me tremendously. But wow honoring them with that final image with the flowers and zipper was an amazing way to end it 🥹 So that was a wake right? And I’m sure also some sort of ceremonial ritual that welcomed Giorno as the new head, am I right? Interesting surprise knowing for you having own that exact figure! I could be wrong but I’m guessing that’s Mista’s version of “black” for their passing or maybe it is his new look moving forward. Cause I also noticed Giorno is wearing green so maybe it’s just dark colored clothing for this service. With the development and time they spent together on missions I’m glad it’s Mista and Giorno together in the end. I wouldn’t have it any other way. Well besides everyone else making it out but eh. I also like that Polnareff is around with them. That gives me hope that one day a convo will start and the Jojo’s will meet. I mean with friends leaving along a huge journey and obvious topic has to be discussed at some point. 🤞 I’m not sure if I saw Trish there at the end so I’m hoping she’s now living in that house Bruno was talking about. Just away from this whole crisis now that it’s over and just living a peaceful life. And maybe if anything ever comes up she’ll come to help our boys. This was an awesome ending. I would have accepted a flashback story to end but this was way better for a story so complex. It answered my questions as to how it’ll all end. Man this part was phenomenal! It was so good from beginning to end. Idk how the rest will follow because this is in a league all its own. I love these guys and I’ll miss the heck out of them. 🥹🥹🥹🥹🥹

2024-01-16 13:42:48 +0000 UTCIt's pretty hard to tell does a character who died but still a part of a story is still alive or not. There is a manga that has made it into Netflix anime adaption called "Tenkuu Shinpan" or "High-rise Invasion". It is a thrilling horror survival genre about various people getting isekai'ed into a weird world filled with skyscrapers. There will be humans who wear a smiley face mask and roaming there aiming to kill or drive people to fall into despair and commit suicide. But later on, it gonna turned into some superpower genre. There are various kinds of masks, and each mask contains power. This is also a Yuri (Girl love) one, but it was not the main focus here. The point is, that there is a girl in the series, like the third protagonist. She appeared to have worn one type of mask ever since before her appearance in the series. And then, she met with a Sniper who wore the traditional smiley mask and worked together to make her survive this world. Later on, the girl somehow died. I don't remember how, but she might get killed by someone. The point is, she didn't just die. It's like her consciousness has transferred into the Sniper Mask's brain, making her become something like a ghost that possessed Sniper Mask. But she can't control his body, she just lives there and manages some power he has. The point is, the moment she died is like the midway of the series, but even through she has died, she still exists and is given a major role in the series. Even in the end, she was still there, never moving on or passing away. She still living inside the Sniper Mask's brain. She also possesses an ability to transfer herself to another hose, like the main character of the series to help her maintain her power. She still active, even through her corpse is confirmed. The Sniper Mask know that she died even before the corpse was found, but even through her body is dead like Polnareff's, she's still living as a ghost. Therefore, I always have this question in my mind. Is she alive? She is not. But what I mean is, should we call her decease? When you are informed that some character you never knew is deceased, you would think that they have passed away right? But she never passes away. Even though she died, she is still there and has a major role in the story. Not like Himmel's case where he exists in flashback, she's a part of the story, a part of how it ends. And even at the end, she's still there. So, it's pretty confusing is she alive or not. Maybe, Polnareff is also in the same case. By the way, this series is on Netflix. I never watched the anime to the end, but I finished reading Manga. It's horror, scary, thrilling, and gore, but it also includes comedy and romance, so as superpower. If you are interested, you might want to see it yourself. I have to warn you though. It still can't compare to Jojo though. But each disgusting scene is still disgusting.

2024-01-16 09:28:06 +0000 UTCQuick update: still without power since Saturday, no electricity, running water, and freezing temps outside. Haven’t seen either of these episodes yet, for obvious reasons. Normally able to talk about reactions and such but that’s kind of taking a back seat to “survival,” as it could be even longer before even basic power gets restored. Will catch up: but you know, this fun stuff we do is kinda low on the priority list at the moment compared to living conditions. I’ll catch up when I’m able to. Hope you enjoyed the finale, though. PS: you do NOT want to be me right now. OH MY GAWDDDD!!! (Just for good Joseph measure.)

2024-01-16 03:15:31 +0000 UTCStill somehow less creepy than the Angelo stone...

2024-01-16 03:13:13 +0000 UTCDiavolo got hit with THE hardest Jojo death. Like don't get me wrong, he's a bad dude that ruined a lot of lifes... Yet he got hit with a fate worse than Cars. Requiem is some scary business. Remember when Silver Chariot Requiem was trying to open a connection to some crazy dimension? Wasn't that crazy? I'm sure we'll neeeeeeeeever find out what Silver Chariot Requiem was trying to summmon into world... ...No, seriously. We never find out, and I'm pretty sure we never will. xD I don't like the placement of the Rolling Stone arc, I feel like it's a waste to save it for last. I think having it be the first arc could be an interesting set up, since people know who might die in the series, making those close moments even more tense because you *know* they're going to die, but you never know when. Make it even more surprising when Bruno 'survives' the first encounter with Diavolo. That and I think it'd be fun to introduce Giorno after, because there could be a moment where the audience truly doesn't know if Giorno is good or evil. If you don't do it the first chapter, you can do it right after Black Sabbath and before the gang is introduced to Giorno. Or maybe do it before the first King Crimson encounter. I can't help but feel like Araki made this chapter so he didn't have to show Giorno seizing power here. xD Also Diavolo's first death is like...something out of my nightmares. Just being caught in somewhere dark and with limited movement for me, and I can only really couch or crawl on the ground... And then something in the darkness comes at you, moving far too fast for you to react and you're just helpless... ...This is why I don't explore caves. xD

2024-01-16 01:53:26 +0000 UTCHi Hime :) I knew that V3 of the opening would be to your taste ^^ Yeah, Diavolo is dead, but his soul will never die, experiencing his death over and over again... Him stealing everyone's time, seeing his future stolen in a cycle of constant death, in a sense, it's is a fair return of things. The idea of rewinding so much that we are back at the beginning of part 5 could have been interesting, I wonder if it could be used by Araki for a future part hehe. Yes, the story of the stone, I had trouble explaining it without saying too much, but it's a chapter released towards the end of the manga, which ties everything together anyway. Maybe indeed if Mista had done nothing, Abbacchio and Narancia would not have died, but Bruno would surely have just died during his confrontation against the boss and the rest of the adventure would have been different. My headcanon is that Mista and Trish are together now, or very close friends. Because in the end, they really are a couple of besties (swapping bodies must help lol). I can say that too now, but when I said that Polnereff was going to be well SHELLtered, it was mainly the fact that he stayed in the turtle that I was thinking lol. But you couldn't know that yet, at the time, so it's a double-layered pun hehe. Overall, I like this part, for Bruno, Narancia, the group in general and especially Mista, who remains one of my favorites of all parts. But I still have trouble with Giorno, who I find too Gary-stu, too perfect to be true. That's why he remains my least favorite jojo. And that's also why I can't wait to see you start part 6, because it contains my favorite jojo and the gang of jojobros is really interesting too. You risk having a certain nostalgia with part 6 and if you find that this finale is good, I already know that the finale of part 6 will have to be done with a box of tissues nearby just in case. Well the beginning could also have a joke about a box of tissues, but I'll let you discover lol.

2024-01-15 18:07:13 +0000 UTCI changed my ranking a bit because I have now read and seen all the Jojo parts and therefore had to adjust my score a bit. 2024-01-15 17:20:18 +0000 UTCnow you have seen my favorite animated part of Jojo and i am also a bit sad that the wonderful journey is over. i can still remember the beginning of october when i was on vacation and i couldn't wait for you to upload your first gold wind episode and now it's just over. the time just flew by. it was a very nice journey watching this part with you. it reminded me of many of my own reactions when i saw you in the videos. it confirmed to me again that golden wind is simply my favorite Jojo part except for the not yet animated parts. i find your opinion on the last episode very exciting because the sleeping slave arc is not for everyone. you're not used to not seeing the final fight at the end of a jojo part. but i think it's brave of araki to include a little side story that has such a big impact on the main story. The meaning of the Sleeping Slaves arc is about the main theme of Part 5, of the will to fight. It's a contrary to Diavolo and his King Crimson, who thinks that only the result matters. In this, the result is that Bruno is going to die, and that is predestined, but it's not the result. It's a way of paying tribute to the characters. Saying that even if they were destined to die, it's the path they walk, their fights, and their will, what defines everything. Similar to how Bruno at one point knew he was going to die or that he was already "dead" yet he decided to keep on fighting for Giorno's dream even though he wouldn't be able to see it or enjoy it himself. Their deaths became someone else's (Giorno's) hope. It's also interesting to think about what changes at the end and why. Bruno was destined to die, and he was gonna let Fugo meet Giorno, which would have led to either Fugo or Giorno dead. But thanks to Mista in the end Bruno goes to investigate the Leaky Eye Luca case himself, resulting in him meeting Giorno and going in this journey to betray the organization, which would led to Abbacchio and Narancia's deaths. Despite how weird it is, I actually really appreciate Rolling Stones as a miniarc. It shows that while some parts of fate might look impossible, and accepting them might be the easy way out, The struggles against fate is what really matter. The struggle here might have caused even more harm than good to our Jobros, but who is to say if Giorno would have joined the crew, if it wasn't for that act of desperation to change fate. There were again a lot of Christian references used in this arc. Scolippi could be interpreted as a kind of Jesus figure, he has a wreath of thorns on his head and both hands have been shot, which is supposed to symbolize the crucifixion of Jesus. It also fits perfectly into the whole devil and God symbolism and the things that Michel Angelo said fit very well in this part. can you still remember the fighting gold opening? because at the beginning you can see Rolling Stones and the famous David statue that was created by Michelangelo. It's really cool how much the openings actually contain spoilers, but if you don't know the context, it's not that tragic. I also think it's very nice that Polnareff is staying with us for a while and will probably help Giorno to be a good mafia. So he basically takes on Bruno's role. This episode was also the reason why I shipped Mista and Trish in the first place. you probably know why now. I definitely agree with your three small points of criticism. I also wish that Giorno would have found out more about Dio and the Joestar family and that they would have addressed his conflict a little more. I would also have liked that we saw a little more of Giorno as a mafia boss because we don't know whether he kept his promise to make Passione a better place and also to end the drug trade. We don't know what happened to Trish and Fugo either. but that's why you're reading Purple Haze Feedback because things are shed a little better there. Overall, I really enjoyed your videos about this part and I'm glad that you like Golden Wind as much as I do. I will miss the crew very much but of course I will always keep you up to date with fanarts. Now I'm looking forward to Stone Ocean because our jojo journey together isn't quite over yet. I will link my current jojo part ranking and some videos and fanart for you in another comment.

2024-01-15 16:54:51 +0000 UTCBefore you go any furthur, I recommand you should check on youtube video of "Jojo but really fast" series. It's a kind of summarize Jojo in simple animation style that so halarious. You might not be able to stop laughing at all. So... you might wanna do a reaction on each one to. I guarantee it's amusing. Right now, it only have up to part 5 and Rohan's part. And I think there might not have any spoiler since you already finish part 5.
