Hey everyone! Here I am with Jojo Part 5, episode 37!! OMGGGGG!!!!!!!!! You guys, this one was so sad and so beautiful and SO EPIC!!!! Saying goodbye to Bruno wasn't easy just like I thought it would be, but wow, what a beautiful departure for a beautiful soul!!!! He was so majestic :( And he figured out the shadow thing because of course he did!!! Everyone's switched back, yay! But you guys, I think my soul left my body when I saw that arrow hit King Crimson! Good thing the arrow knew who to REALLY go for!!!! OMGGGG the way he got the arrow, it was so beautiful and just epic!!! You guys, Gold Experience Requiem is a total BOSS!!!!!! I knew it! I knew he'd have to get something that helped him get around the time skip! So he's reversing time?! I'm still not totally clear on how it works, but it screwed up King Crimson, so yay!!! The final battle is next, are you ready? I'm not!!! Great ep! Can't wait for more! Enjoy! ~ MH

Hahahaha omg I actually did it! Don't get used to it though :P Oh that's true, he did actually get to say goodbye! Good point about the reborn comment too. So true about the reasoning as well. Hahahaha I think we all felt that way a little here! Yeah, it's even in the opening that Giorno gets the arrow :P I know, isn't that crazy about his Stand being able to act independently?! You're so right, KC could really do all of that, it's not a lie - but GER undid it. What I'm told is that GER nullifies the effects of other Stands and makes it so that they didn't even happen. Rewinding the tape, basically! Hahaha good pun and definitely pour one out for our fallen friends! Yikes, those are some ominous words!!!

OHHHH so GER is controlling the mind to do what it does....that makes sense! WHOAAAA it is like the mind/body separation that happened in the first eps!!!! Just like really enhanced! I have no doubt that Diavolo could really do all that, it's just being stopped by GER. I cannot wait to see!!! And hear the opening!!! Ohhhhh so the last one is kind of a throwback/epilogue combo?! Interesting!! Thanks for clarifying that, I would have been so lost haha.

OMG same, like on the one hand I'm dying to see how it ends, on the other hand I could just let this breathe for a bit since it was SO much! Giorno was amazing!!! Yeah the reversal thing seems to be what happened but I think it's more than that. I think you're right, he just cancels KC's actions. Golden Trippy Experience hahaha!!! Please God let that be the name of it :P Seriously, like I'm ready to just see him get beat down after all this time being OP!!!!

You’d have to get your hands dirty to do good and he has. It’s not his fault people kept making it harder for him. I like to think those little cherubs were also Abaccio and Narnar. Even still he’s with them again. I can’t wait to see what fanart Leonor has waiting for me 😭. But it was so beautiful and definitely befitting. If he was going to stay then I’ll take his word that this was what was supposed to be and not worry. I can’t believe we’re wrapping up next week. Just think of the Whoo gang and only 2 most newest members are left. Man what I ride. These episodes are throwing everything and I want it to stop so I can breathe and now here we are and I want a little time back. I can’t never be fully happy. I hate this part. I don’t like saying bye 😭 Giorno was absolutely boss! I’m guessing he’s pushed back time like you said yet that may not be the extent. This just cancels or redoes Crimsons abilities. So it doesn’t matter how much he tries to. He just goes through that golden trippy experience and sees his actions undone. I’m so happy but same time kick his ass fast enough this man does not deserve a lengthy cool ass death!

If one looks only at the result, one starts taking shortcuts, and will never arrive at the truth. Someone has commented in another streamer who reacted to Jojo within that episode, that King Crimson's ability to skip through time is like taking a shortcut, and now he will never arrive at the truth. And whatsoever, Gold Experience Requiem is not to reverse time, but to make someone never arrive at the truth. Diavolo absolutely able to kill Giorno, but he won't arrive at that truth. You will see in the next episode for how it's like.

2024-01-12 04:34:05 +0000 UTCBefore I start this comment, I need to say congratulations!!! 🎉🎊🎈🍾 …why? Remember I bet that you couldn’t do something in a JoJo reaction? Look at the full runtime! 😂 😂 😂 Something is actually interesting about this episode in that the entire sequence is viewed almost exclusively from Diavolo’s perspective after the Bruno sequence. Let’s start with that: we all knew he was on the way out, but unlike a lot of the others he’s had time to come to terms with his fate, and he actually got a chance to tell everyone his feelings before taking off. His comment about being reborn, it’s kind of like comparing what he was doing to a job you hate and then you finally do something you truly believe in. That’s the real difference between protagonists and antagonists for the most part… they’re doing this all because of a good reason. Okay, I don’t feel like I understand much… to quote the boss himself, “what am I looking at right now?” but I feel that way all the time. To nobody’s shock, Giorno got the arrow. I mean, come on - that bet was never up for discussion. What IS interesting, however, is that his Stand can act independently now and without his own knowledge. Remember, King Crimson’s ability DOES NOT LIE. If time proceeded normally, he would indeed succeed in killing Giorno. However, Requiem’s ability seems to have reversed time - but that doesn’t quite make sense. Here’s what I gathered: at the end of the sequence - Diavolo was in the same spot he started. Requiem said though Diavolo’s premonition was true, he was never going to reach it. In other words: Requiem is specifically reversing the time that Diavolo is jumping and “rewinding the tape.” That’s why he never moved. I guess in a way you could say his ability got zipped back up? Pour one out for Bruno and Polnareff btw. Oh, and let’s not forget that phrase in the opening as we head down the stretch: “ALL THAT REMAINS IS THE END, WHERE YOU WILL ALL PERISH.” 👀 … I’m sure it’s nothing to worry about… 👀

It must be quite heartbreaking - they spend all this time wondering what kind of men their fathers are and then. They find out the truth that they are pure evil, psychopathic monsters. Diavolo trying to kill Trish and Dio being the embodiment of everything Giorno hates. Words can't explain how they must be feeling. 2024-01-11 22:39:50 +0000 UTCIn this episode, we unfortunately had to say goodbye to our beloved Jojo Mom. For me, it's always a very sad moment to see Bruno float away into heaven. But it's the right place for him. When you consider how much good he did not only in his gang, but also to other people, it is simply remarkable how good a person can be. After some reflection, I have come to the conclusion that Bruno was the golden wind that made Giorno achieve his dream. Giorno was the nudge that Bruno needed to fulfill his goal of making the mafia a better place. But Bruno was the one who, with the help of his gang, made it possible for them to defeat the boss. Giorno could never have done it on his own. It makes me all the more sad to see that yet another person has now passed away. But if you look at the big picture, Bruno was the main character in this part. Only with Bruno's help was Giorno able to get the arrow and thus obtain Gold Experience Requiem. To explain this briefly for you, Gold Experience Requiem's ability is to extinguish Diavolo's timeskip. This means that even if Diavolo uses King Crimson, Gold Experience Requiem can prevent this. Therefore, Diavolo has no chance to reach his truth and can never be King of Kings. Another reason why Diavolo lost is that he started doing this typical villain monologue in this episode. Like: I'm better than the rest of you, I'm the king, nobody's going to stop me. And that was the symbol of his defeat. What I also noticed is the more pressure he's under, the more fear is in his eyes. The moment where he reacts rather totally panicked to Gold Experience Requiem always makes me laugh because it brings out his true nature. Diavolo is a very strong villain when he's in control of the situation. That's when he can think strategically, plan his actions wisely and execute them. But from the moment he panics, he can no longer think accurately, makes unnecessary mistakes and doesn't pay attention to his surroundings. You can see that very well in this episode. Next week we'll come to the grand finale in this part. I'm very curious to hear what you think about it, because opinions on the finale are very divided because most people don't understand the reason behind it. 2024-01-11 21:18:15 +0000 UTCHi Hime :) The idea of the shadow reacting to the light behind the head, the spirit of Diavolo in the body of one of our protagonists, what would we do to be in the head of Araki seeing this kind of fight. Giorno recovering the arrow in a smoke screen or even pointing it towards the sky is visible directly in the opening, almost identically. For the power of Reqiem, it's only my interpretation, but since the arrow is supposed to control people's minds and Gold Experience already increased Bruno's mind during their first confrontation, GER is just the extension this side. For me, Diavolo could do all that and may have done it, only GER made this action impossible and Diavolo is in the same state as Bruno was after the first hit of Gold Experience, body and mind separated. But wait and see the repercussions, you'll love it ^^ (Diavolo a little less). The next opening should be the third version. About the last episode, you risk being lost, it's a bonus episode which adapts the two or three chapters, which Araki added after the end of the adventure. This happened before Giorno joined the group. There is a purpose and a message behind this episode, but ultimately, the next one is the last in Giorno and gang's adventure against Diavolo.

2024-01-11 17:08:05 +0000 UTCI love how religious imagery is used throughout this part and is emphasized even more near the end. So much could be said symbolically about the way this rebirth of sorts relates to Jonathan, Dio, and Giorno himself.
