Hey everyone! Here I am with Jojo Part 5, episode 36!! WHOA!!!! You guys this one was SO tense with having to suspect everyone at first...jeez!!! Also the reasoning behind the whole shadow thing is so cool, it's too bad it had to be Diavolo figuring it out first! The showdown was a real nail biter and Trish getting to show up and do something cool was awesome!!! But you guys, I REFUSE to believe what I just saw!!! There's no way we're losing Trish!!! Please, please let this be the one donutting that doesn't stick!!! :( Great ep! Can't wait for more! Enjoy! ~ MH

2024-03-18 00:03:01 +0000 UTCHey Leonie!!! :D Ok I'm glad I'm not the only one who thought it was just a LITTLE complex!!! Araki really is a genius!!! But yeah, it's a bit over my head as well! OHHHH ok I was not clear on the Mista/Trish thing but that makes a lot of sense, thanks for clearing it up!!! You were right about the bug thing not being right lol. I think you're right, this is a great and really tense way to handle the situation, Araki did great writing the buildup and tension!!! Ohhhhh that's so smart about the little eye speck actually!!! You're so right! AWWWWWW that is so sad, the only time we get to see Diavolo caring about his daughter is when the REAL parent here is in his body :P That's such a great detail, wow!! Haha yeah my theory is pretty much nonsense!!! That's true about the nationality thing! I guess since we never see their faces we can't say for sure, but it's logical to think that one was Japanese and the other was Italian. Oh well, it was fun to come up with anyway!!! :D

2024-01-12 15:29:43 +0000 UTCHope you're staying safe during the storm!!! HAHAHA I've definitely sacrificed a significant amount of sanity :P Ohhhh that wasn't a real phone, we were just seeing what he was seeing? That's sad :( LOL autocorrect really does have a mind of its own today doesn't it?! Oh yeah, I remember that Geats arc well!!! And you're so right, that's what this is like. I thought the bug theory was a good one too! I noticed the finger and yes it seems like everyone is mutating?? Yeah his fear has really taken over his life, it's just such a harsh thing to say to your own kid! OHHHHH that's so true about the danger for Mista's body too!!! Fortunately all this is addressed in the next one haha.

2024-01-12 15:24:45 +0000 UTCOMG I love this theory!!!!!! It would be so romantic if she tracked him down using the earring and they made a little turtle love nest together!!!!! Let's pretend this is canon please!!!

2024-01-12 15:20:56 +0000 UTCOkay my theory IF he’s still in the turtle and with us Polnareff will love his days as one. The girl in part 3, Malena will have tried to track down the owner of the earring. Cuz I remember the way they left it (to me) it was something similar to like the lone ranger. And through adventures of her own has somehow made it into the turtle. Or hey! Maybe she’ll make it to Polnareff all human-like and somehow (if there’s still room in that shell for two) will somehow get in there and it will be a cozy little love next. Maybe somehow returning his earring will make something happen idk 🤷♂️ 🐢 💔

2024-01-12 12:06:58 +0000 UTCMaybe your IQ might increase a couple points during the series, but at the cost of your sanity… you know what they say in FMA, equivalent exchange. Also… gee, this show makes you feel a lot different than Frieren does, doesn’t it? There’s a couple things here - i don’t think there was actually a phone where Doppio/Bruno was - that’s just what he was seeing. (On a totally unrelated note my autocorrect just tried to change Doppio to “adoption…” no joke.) I thought the big thing was a good guess, but I didn’t think we’d have an impostor - this is basically the JoJo gang playing “Among Us.” Everyone’s trying to figure out where the boss is before they all die. (If you recall, Geats had a similar arc involving a traitor called the “Desaster.”) So all the people are… changing? As well as the turtles? Also did you notice Mista’s finger starting to rip into something that looked different? It went by really fast. Diavolo said he wished Trish had never been born because it’s caused him so many problems. He fears the past more than anything… clearly his paranoia has turned him into an outstanding guy. Here’s the real question… it’s Trish’s soul that’s currently at risk, but what about Mista’s body then? Is that a 2-for-1 if it sticks? By the way, winter storm warning so not going into work today. I’ll settle for your trauma instead. :P Moving on!

2024-01-12 01:55:09 +0000 UTCHey Melissa, this is the episode where Part 5 almost became too complicated for me. I remember exactly when I watched the episode for the first time. I was completely confused by the things that were explained in the episode. The entire functioning of Silver Chariot Requiem alone is still a mystery to me to this day. I don't know how Araki came up with it, but that man must be a mastermind. I never actually thought Diavolo could be in the insect. I always thought he was some kind of spirit now that no one can see and can choose which soul he wants to be in. So I also explained that Diavolo was first in Trish's body and then in Mista's body. But then after watching it several times, I realized that it was just a perspective that was being presented. Of course it makes sense that Diavlo is in Mista's body, where Trish's soul is, because they are both related and that would be the most likely scenario. I think that's actually pretty cool because it shows again how strong family ties are. The entire chase to the Stand Arrow is one of the most exciting final battles in Jojo. Many people are always so disappointed that there is no real final fight in Part 5, but I think the chase is just as good. It's a very good way to write a final battle, as the protagonists not only have to fight here, but also have to think carefully about what to do next. They also accuse each other of being the enemy and distrust each other. Araki has done this very well. Another detail I forgot to mention last time is that when Bruno is a Diavolo's body, Diavolo's eyes are only green. Otherwise you'd always see a little triangle in Diavolo's eyes, which symbolizes that he's totally crazy and traumatized and scared all the time. And in the final scene of this episode, you also saw that the only time Diavolo's body showed concern for his child was when Bruno was in his body. Which I think is a very nice detail. So Bruno cares more about Trish than her own father. I also wanted to address your Part 4 theory. I personally find the theory very interesting, but not particularly accurate. Considering that Josuke's savior is 100% Japanese and was also very young, it wouldn't quite fit the image I have of the gangster who saved Giorno. He looked more like he was in his 30s. Definitely Italian origin. And the look wouldn't match either. I don't want to ruin your theory, but in my opinion it's nonsense.
