Hey everyone! Here I am with Jojo Part 5, episode 33!! OMG!!! This one was way, WAY too tense!!!! I absolutely loved getting to see flashbacks of Polnareff and Jotaro! Learning the details of how we got here was interesting but also tragic. The stuff with the arrows is such great lore, I'm enjoying it! And WHOA, THAT is Diavolo?!?!!? Like I don't know what I was expecting....but it wasn't that lol!!!!!! Dang!! Of all the things to do though....to just....take out one of our best buddies from the old crew....!!! Honestly I was holding out hope at this point but had no clue what was going on haha! Great ep! Can't wait for more! Enjoy! ~ MH

Ok so later on watching that scene with Buffy around, she did the EXACT SAME THING!!! And then the pitch of the ring just keeps going up and Buffy was just FLABBERGASTED!!!! I wonder what on earth that sound means in dog??? Nooooo not the P characters :((((( Yeah I had no idea what that figure was at the time! Good call about Trish's radar. Oh ok so about the death notices, I've been told they aren't going to do those anymore! Just the "soul glitter" and dead eyes. :/ Hahaha what can I say, I like to pack my content with as much as I can???? :P LOL fun I guess???? Like this is fun for me.....!?

At most I’m picturing an awesome wholesome reunion with a hug. Maybe one visited the areas of the departed. Who knows?

(Oh, sure you’ll say it’s coincidence… but TOO LATE! I’m already suspicious!) 👀 I knew Bruno was getting in worse shape but I didn’t realize it had deteriorated as far as it had - apparently, he can’t see or hear, he can only sense the shape of someone’s soul? I know Bruno and Gojo share the same VA, but this literally feels like it was pulled out of the Jujutsu Kaisen series handbook. By the way… my dog likes to hang out when I’m catching up… if you want to see your dog go absolutely honkers, just have them nearby when Doppio gets a phone call. She’s STILL looking at me funny. Well, I did kinda get suspicious about Polnareff’s fate last week when I reminded you this is not the first time a show has done something like this involving a character whose name starts with P - I wasn’t expecting it to be quite that quick though. I will point out that Polnareff seems to have stabbed Silver Chariot with the arrow while in King Crimson’s domain, and his Stand wandered off like it was melting… Then there’s the case of this strange figure showing up - it looks like a cross between a human and a Stand? Is this related? On a side note, I wonder if Trish will be able to pick up on her radar what’s going on… and one other important note… THERE WAS NEVER A DEATH NOTICE FOR POLNAREFF on this episode. I will point out that’s occurred for other characters. So… HMMM…. I have to do two more of these, I try to pop over here right after I watch the episode, but lol, these lengths aren’t exactly making it easier to keep pace with you, ya know! 😅 At least you seem to be having… FUN? XD

2024-01-08 22:32:57 +0000 UTCNot sure if it’s been mentioned before but now that he’s revealed himself I just wanted to let you know that Diavolo’s voice actor, Katsuyuki Konishi, has been apart of the JoJo franchise for quite some time. He voiced Jonathan in the original 2007 OVA for Phantom Blood which was unfortunately poorly received and is why we didn’t get a more complete adaptation until the 2012 anime. It’s nice to see him get another shot at voicing a character in this franchise which he is a big fan of. There’s a clip online of him doing a live voice reading as Diavolo (Note: if you want to watch this clip FINISH PART 5 FIRST) in which he goes over his time and continues the scene. When the show hosts tell him to stop and return to his seat he playfully says something along the lines of “But This Next Scene Is Cool Too!”

2024-01-08 16:38:20 +0000 UTCHi Melissa, you've finally arrived at the episode where you can see my favorite Jojo Villain in all his glory. I'm very happy that you like his design. I didn't expect it to look like this either, but I really love his design. He really is very handsome and if I were Donatella, I would marry him in a heartbeat. We'd just have to re-educate him a bit so that he's not so traumatized and doesn't want to kill everyone who finds out about him. But we'll manage that. And then we'd be a loving family. 🥳😂 Now a few more details about the episode. If fans say that Diavolo doesn't play a big role in the Jojo universe, they haven't been paying attention. Because Diavolo is the reason why Part 3 and Part 4 exist. Without him, Enyaba would never get the Stand Arrow and thus get Dio The World. Also, Kira's father and Keicho would never get their Stand Arrows. That's why Diavolo is a very important person in the Jojo universe. I think it's very funny that you mentioned in the episode that Polnareff always meets the bad guy at a staircase, which is actually true. But it even has some very religious references. If you think back to Part 3, Dio is at the top of the stairs and Polnareff is at the bottom. As you know, Dio means God in Italian and God is known to be in heaven, so he's looking up to heaven from below. Diavolo means devil in Italian and this time Polnareff is at the top looking down into hell at the devil. Pretty cool Christian references. I have to admit, I didn't immediately find out about these references myself. It was only by reading a lot of the comments that I realized it and it's a pretty cool detail that araki has once again incorporated phenomenally into his work. It's a real shame that Polnareff only gets such a short screentime and is then killed off immediately. But hope dies last. Maybe we'll see him again in a different form. 🫣😉 The last thing I want to address is the sweet offer Bruno gave Trish. Bruno really is such a sweet man. I wish to someone like him will also exist in Real Life. I thought I'd spread the fanart across all three episodes today, as the fanart covers different topics. And in the episode, of course, I want to share some Diavolo fanart and comics that I haven't been able to share for so long. I will put the fanarts in another comment.
