Hey everyone! Here I am with Jojo Part 5, episode 32!! WOW!!! Bruno proves he's still got it, even if his life is quickly draining (and it is...which I'm scared to watch)!!! The underground liquid/sound fight was pretty freaky!! And WOW, what are the freaking ODDS you guys, that Secco would grab Doppio?!!?!? Good lord!!! Red string of fate is one thing, but for fudge sake! To think it all could have been over and done there lol....I guess I was wrong that the death mask looked anything like Doppio :/ Too bad! And you guys!!! We get to see the full picture of our one and only Polnareff in this one!!!!!!!!! AHHHH!!!! I really really hope things have been good for him....aside from the whole injury/arrow situation....!!! Great ep! Can't wait for more! Enjoy! ~ MH

OMG for real how do I find this a comfort show?!!?! OMG THAT REVEAL!!!!!!!!!!!! For real, I can't believe he looked ahead!!! He's just a casual viewer so he gets to do that, and at least he didn't spoil me on it haha, but still! Yeah seriously, like there's the red string of fate and then there's just WAY too much to be a coincidence!!! I know right, like I can't even believe this is happening!!!!!!!!!!!! I never thought we'd see him again and to see him like this is just so jarring!!!!!!!! You're so right about him too, he was never the type to watch/lurk from the shadows, it says a lot about what he's been through. Seeing him with no legs, in a wheelchair, etc. is so rough :((((((( Awww I'm glad you pictured him getting together with the girl in Part 3 too!!! Omg I know, to know that he most likely has had nothing but pain in the time we've been apart from him.....!!!!!!!! OMG I KNOW, like screw this show for making us feel this way but also I adore this show and can't get enough, whyyyyyy >.< I'm dying to know more about the arrow. I totally get wanting to know what happens!!!!!!!!! Omg how can one not ramble when it comes to Polnareff!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm right there with you!!!!!!!! I know, I feel like we're getting REALLY close to saying bye to Bruno, plus now they've introduced a new "mentor" so it kinda makes sense :(((((((( Awww thank you, isn't it a great sweater haha!!! I wore it over the weekend, it's comfy too!!! OHHHHH you're right about Iggy haha!!! He's totally messing with Polnareff and farting on him LOL!!!

2024-01-03 15:34:56 +0000 UTCI can tell you right now that I'll never be able to do that :P Even if I dropped The Book and The Hauls, I don't think my brain will let me stop talking too much at the beginning/end :P Yeah I didn't get the whole foot slice thing either, they never really came back to it? Also yeah, Secco turning on Cioccolatta does make sense when you consider how they must have met and all. Ohhh it was kinda like Jaws haha! Yeah I don't remember Jaws doing anything like that though. Right, Bruno's the one person who can hear about the arrow, and it's such dangerous info that Polnareff is gonna destroy it otherwise. I really wanna know more! I think he might have to switch gears with Bruno once he sees that, erm, he's actually decomposing :/ And that's assuming Bruno even makes it there! Going for Secco's ears was smart. LOL he must have used my scream to do it :P That's true, it's not like King Crimson wouldn't have shown him all this already. So I guess I'm the only one who though there might be at least a resemblance between Doppio and Diavolo?! Like I thought Doppio just looked like Diavolo when he was young....so whatever they saw on the death mask? Come to think of it though, the death mask didn't look all that similar to Doppio. I mean, that's a pretty accurate description of how I enjoy ice cream, so why not think the same about Jojo's??? I just can't get enough!!! OMG so this came up in a discussion after my reaction too - that Polnareff might have some, erm, thoughts/feelings on Giorno being Dio's kid lol. I immediately went to him being a Joestar descendant in my head, guess I was looking on the bright side??? OMG we're so close to the end, I'm excited and scared!!!!!!!!

It seriously is the Jojo effect, because at this point I feel like they're all my friends/family and seeing one of them again is amazing! I'm glad to know to follow my first instincts on what happened to Polnareff physically.........I can't imagine someone making it out alive after knowing so much, but that explains why he's in such bad shape! That's so interesting about the statue! It fits so perfectly too! Ohhh so it was a mix of decomposing and Oasis....gotcha. Makes sense actually! OHHHHHHHH that does make sense about the cover!!! I didn't think of that with the Stands. Good call! It still made me sad though lol.

Honestly my first impression was that Secco wasn't exactly doing all that out of choice, but maybe was more in the victim role at one time due to Cioccolatta's experiments....then he seemed like he was into it, and then finally we learn he wasn't really loyal anyway! I do kinda feel sorry for him too, since who knows how/what happened to him for him to end up in this position. But I agree, anyone who hurts Bruno needs to go! I know, it's awful that Bruno's really starting to show how much he's falling apart! Oh you're smart, I thought for some reason that Doppio is what Diavolo looked like when he was young/met Trish's mom, so I was hoping he'd recognize him! Oh well! Yes, the eyes flashed green there so we know Diavolo was in control! Can you imagine, randomly getting taken hostage by Secco and hearing him say all this stuff he's gonna do to the boss....when you are the boss :P Ahhhh it was so cruel to end it on a cliffhanger like that! Friday can't come soon enough!!! YAY FANART!!! I'm gonna make a separate comment for that! I've been dying to see it, I meant to jump in yesterday but I was having trouble with my Vinland Saga editing (the season 1 episodes, not the new season that I'm filming this week!)!

I was going to say I annoyingly felt bad for Secco because of that “I love you moment”. But that was quickly expunged due to the reveal which had my fingers moving before I could think. I swear my heart dropped to my butt. I had to move to the next right away. I’m always ears when it comes to the intro and outro but I sped up the playback speed a bit to get into it. I’m sorry but I couldn’t help you. I’m sure you understand. Also Mr. Hime is such a cheater! How are you going to look ahead? Tsk-tsk! I was even planning to comment prior but the surprise of ♥️Polnareff♥️ had me going crazy; I knew that gift was too coincidental. But anyways I didn’t notice the wheelchair at first. Goodness and when they zoomed in on his legs!They are completely gone! Goodness, see I don’t know how to feel about this anymore! This is like the start of part 4 for me. Everything up to this point is canon of course but for me I feel like after part 3 the story would have ended but franchise wise the story had to go on and now we have things like this happening. Idk what happened but just seeing his demeanor is making me quake inside. I remember the voice mentioning how they are unable to fight anymore. I can’t believe it’s him and I can’t believe it’s like this! Man I just can’t fathom all this. Especially with goofy/silly Polnareff! He’s 36 and he looks like he went to hell and back! Meanwhile Jotaro and Joseph are living pretty much peacefully. I never would have thought in a million years we’d see him like this. The last time we saw him he was departing with his carry on bag. It hurts much more because Polnareff was the “a real man fights head on” type guy. You know he would choose to go down fighting till the end. And now his personality seems so solemn. In just a short amount of time he’s changed drastically. I mean 12 years is a while but come on! I dont wanna underestimate him but wow. I’m so glad you mentioned that beautiful girl from part 3. I always envisioned (and always thought we’d never really see him again) that he’d go back or meet up later somehow with that woman and have a family together too since the journey ended. But no, we can’t have that, can we? If anything, the complete opposite happens. I dont want to hear his life being hell after either after part 4 but it looks like it completely was. He looks like he went back in time from a hellish future and now is in present day to try and prevent that from happening. Maaaan!! I freaking hate but love and hate again this show!!! It’s so dark and I’m trying so hard not to watch ahead like a certain Mr someone but it’s getting harder! Where and when did he find this arrow? Okay I’m just gonna hold on somehow till next week. It’s the new year I do not need this!!! Okay I rambled on too much with ❤️Polnareff♥️ but I hope we next episode isn’t the last of Bruno. They keep bringing that up and it’s really breaking my heart that he’s being drained so much. Next episode better not be a first half of him being gone. I’d hate that so much. 😫😫😫😫😩😩😩 PS love the sweater Iggy is on there too. He’s messing with ❤️ Polnareff’s ❤️ hair 🥹🥺🤧

This sentence will self destruct in five seconds. (Mission Impossible theme music plays.) I kind of had a sneaking suspicion, even though I failed to say it before watching this episode, that they were going to do an about face with Secco post Ciocolatta - he just seemed a little TOO dependent. We never did address the slice in the show, though. It seemed random but then why show it again? It turns out Bruno’s whole fight with Secco turned into a very twisted (and land based) Jaws type battle with Secco being the shark. To be fair though, I don’t ever remember a shark chewing up mud and spitting it out… Huh, I guess it is Polnareff - I guess we have some catching up to do - so he says he retrieved the arrow after fleeing Egypt, and then he also will destroy it if Bruno’s crew can’t get to him - he seems fixated on Bruno in particular, who’s having his own set of issues - also what’s the big secret, and who will be the person who hears it? Remember, he said he’d only tell one person. The scene where Secco pops up on the highway kind of reminded me of a similar scene to a loose pet running into the middle of a busy street, and it seems like it’s played up that way intentionally. Taking out Secco’s ears was actually pretty smart, since tracking without seeing relies on sound. (What Bruno did was basically amplify sound in a liquified area to make it that much louder. Hey, I wonder if he used your scream from the last reaction!) Also, I mentioned this before, but it’s kind of a “good thing” Bruno can’t really be “killed,” given everything Secco made him put up with. Ironically, he ended up grabbing Doppio, of all people, but apparently, Doppio had seen this with King Crimson already. Doppio’s appearance is obviously different enough from Diavolo’s that Bruno doesn’t pick up on it. Guys, the day has finally come. You’re witnessing history here, this is a first: this is the reaction where Melissa is enthusiastically endorsing the murder of a kid. 😂 😂 😂 That is probably the most bizarre thing we’ve seen. Had to laugh when Secco jumped and got sucked into the same garbage truck and said hello to Ciocolatta even - I’m just disappointed they didn’t play “reunited and it feels so good” during that scene. 😆 Oh, Bruno seems to be about down for the count but the dreaded to be continued arrow stopped Diavolo… wait a second… I’m putting something together… that to be continued arrow, is that a reference to the actual arrow we’re talking about all this time!?? “That wasn’t a whole episode!” You literally just got four of them, you’re like the person who gets a triple scoop ice cream cone and then says there wasn’t enough sprinkles on top, sometimes, you know? By the way what is it with January 2 and leaving main cast members in extremely dire predicaments? (Check what you uploaded to Patreon on this date last year for context.) Ooh! Last thing, just remembered! Polnareff has no real context for Giorno yet, but… how is HE going to react if the connection to DIO gets revealed? That’s gonna be an… interesting conversation, isn’t it? 😅 Seven episodes to go!

2024-01-03 05:48:10 +0000 UTCThe Bruno and Secco fight is pretty brutal but also quite cool. i found it really interesting to see that Secco didn't grieve about Ciocolatta at all but actually mocked him for dying. you never really get the details of how Secco became Ciocolatta's partner but i can imagine that Ciocolatta tried some experiments on him and made him suffer. the pain made him a bit crazy and that's why he agreed to be his partner. but now that Ciocolatta is dead he can bring out his true nature without having to live with the consequences. i think he was just playing the whole dog behavior to avoid suffering more pain. it all sounds like i feel sorry for Secco, which i do on the one hand, but on the other hand he hurt my husband Bruno so i can't forgive him. it also makes me sad every time to see how Bruno's condition deteriorates more and more. that he can hardly hear now and his skin is almost dissolving you can see his bones and yes his body can't do it any longer. but he still has to hold out until they come to Polnareff. it was actually immediately clear to me that Bruno won't recognize doppio because doppio looks completely different from Diavolo. i always find it so cool when the focus is on doppio and his eye color changes and you know okay Diavolo has control over the body right now. and of course they have to end the episode right where it gets even more exciting. now it's time for fanart. From memory, but I could be wrong, they are the only ones in this case. Your reaction to Polnareff's revelation is exactly what I expected and even more lol. It's the Jojo effect, when you spend so much time with these characters and you meet them again during an episode or a few moments, it's like seeing an old friend again. For Polnareff's injuries, I'll tell you what you're repeating to yourself, don't doubt your first impressions. After all, Polnareff knows Diavolo's identity and his stand power, but also the power of the arrow which Diavolo does not know, so there is a certain conclusion to be drawn from this. The statue with the quote on the coloseum of Rome, represents Remus and Romulus, the two brothers raised by a she-wolf and supposed founder of Rome, Romulus mainly since Romulus > Rome, you see the links. It is said that the two brothers fought over who would name the city and Romulus killed his brother during the fight. The family stories in Jojo always remain at the heart of the theme so it fits perfectly here ^^. For Bruno, it's a bit of both, Bruno approaching his death, his body approaching that of a corpse, he has thus become more sensitive to Oasis which acts mainly on the ground, the rock, etc. From dust you return to dust after all. For the cover of the Golden Wind volume, I think it's more of a legacy story, since you have Jotaro, Josuke and Girono, the three jojo having started with stands.
