Jojo's Bizarre Adventure Part 5 Ep 12 "The Second Mission from the Boss" - reaction & review
Added 2023-11-13 13:01:15 +0000 UTCHey everyone! Here I am with Jojo Part 5, episode 12!! OMG!!!! We're finally getting to know Fugo!!
And dang you guys, I TOTALLY get why he's so angry now, like I think I'm even angrier for him! Purple Haze is SO interesting....the power itself and what it says about Fugo and his perception of himself :( And we have another mirror power, this should be interesting!!! Something tells me it will be different from our last mirror guy though! And Giorno's determined to make it out of here with everyone intact, that's my boy! Can't wait! Great ep! Enjoy! ~ MH

2023-11-14 14:49:05 +0000 UTCHahahaha Nanika, is that you?!?!?! (Just edited those eps, man I love Alluka!!!) Wow, I'll have to dig more into the real life story of Pompeii sometime - like we've all heard of it but I don't know a lot of details. Much of what I know comes from Doctor Who :P I can see the Bakugo vibes for sure! But yeah, I totally get the anger now :( OMG Araki chose violence when he wrote that!!!! Speaking of Araki writing the backstory, I'll talk about some interesting fun facts I learned about that in my next reaction. Basically Fugo didn't have a backstory in the manga and Araki wrote this for the anime! Wild right? OMG hahaha I watched Alicia x Life's reaction to this ep and she started singing Mirror Mirror, I freaked!!! Weisscracker!!!!! Omg!!!

2023-11-14 14:48:21 +0000 UTCThank you for starting this reaction with such a sour note. I hope that wasn’t the case for Giorno growing up. Now the thought is stuck in my head. 😭 The bits of temper tantrums we kept seeing make so much sense now. Man people in this world are so disgusting and cruel. That’s such a despicable thing to do to a kid. He’s been fighting so hard with himself not to hurt the ones around him, whose given him so much pressure. He did not need that from n adult he’s actually looked up to. That just makes my skin crawl. >:( I feel like maybe because Narancia has a bit of a child like innocence to him, Fugo probably got gravitated toward that and tries to look out for him because of his own past. That’s my thought anyway. 🥺

2023-11-14 12:01:04 +0000 UTCWatches MH show off nail stickers. Voice inside head goes “Melissa, give me the nail of your pinky.” (I think you might know what I’m currently doing on another show you’ve finished 😁) Pompeii is a well enough known disaster that I don’t need to spend a lot of time on it, but the whole actual event itself is very interesting and bizarre - and is another example of humans not paying attention to warning signs. Ten seconds, it took me. And it’s like “are we REALLY doing the mirror thing again?” This is getting to be a habit… I get some sort of Bakugo-like vibes from Fugo’s personality although with what was revealed it makes sense. Doesn’t mean there aren’t similarities, though. Regarding the whole scene with the professor - well, I think it went something like this: Araki woke up and thought, “Now that I think about it, it’s been a little while since I created an utterly despicable side character, let’s see what horrible concept I can invent this time.” Is it kind of wrong that during the entire battle my mind keeps going to the following lyric, “mirror, mirror, what’s behind you? Save me from the things I see!” Great… Now I feel like I’m just being a WEISScracker, so I’ll go to the next episode. 😉
