Added 2023-10-30 12:15:39 +0000 UTCHey everyone! Here I am with Jojo Part 5, episode 8!! Whoa, we get to see Mista's back story in this one and WOW!!! I love who he is at heart, how his origins are tied to this idea of fate / destiny, and WOW did I love how he thought his way out of this battle! Craftwork (?) is a pretty boss Stand, especially how this person was using it - and I love how Mista had a plan within a plan with his little pistols to take the guy down!!! It was impressive! The running joke with the poor truck driver was pretty rich too lol!!!! Wow, another character I know and love, and we're less than 10 eps in, dang!!!!
Can't wait for what's next! Great ep! Enjoy! ~ MH

They just enjoyed doing the dance hehe What was happening to his eyes was the reflection on the sun into the glasses that they had put on him. Like a magnifying glass over an ant… which honestly sounds worse than the dance causing it. You’re right about Mista, for someone who claims they are simple, he was pretty damn clever on top of the truck. Also, you are correct that the “little guys” are not the bullets and the gun is just a normal gun. But they sure a cute! Amazing reaction as always, can’t wait for the next one. P.s. we’ll be meeting the unknown character that’s in op pretty soon!

I think there's something to it for sure! (The crop top is so cute though!) Well, that's a fair point about the bullets!!! But they're so cuuuuuteee!!! Hahahah yeah the truck was not exactly the best option for this!!! Oh yeah, I figured he was trying to catch up to Mista, I just didn't think to comment on it - it adds to the irony doesn't it! This was so fun. Awwwww you're right about 3 and 5 haha!! So according to the comments here, it's because 5 is actually 4, and we all know how bad 4's are according to Mista!!! :P

I think of out everyone we didn’t get the much feel for his personality, not even a smidge so these were fantastic episodes to get to know him. That number 3 is like the Bakugou of the group; always picking on number 5 (Deku). Get along y’all! 🔫

2023-10-31 11:19:27 +0000 UTCThe first thing to note before I gloss past it is you’re getting a little frustrated that Abbachio is not “warming up” to Giorno very fast, but at the same time that makes his seal of approval that much more valuable. It’s not something earned lightly, so there’s a degree of respect that has to be acquired. I’m sure our boy will do what he needs to in time, for now, let’s juT be glad he hasn’t decided to he downright hostile. “Mista just wanted to live a peaceful, simple life…” Me: Oh no, it’s… the Second Kira, isn’t it!? 😂 I think there may be some merit to his superstition, though: think about it - when he was helping that victim (and I was going to make a remark about Stormtroopers but you hear me to it, so stop reading my mind you ghostly apparition!), the narrator said he fired FOUR perfect shots. So even though he was doing good, that has a negative connotation for him. On the truck when he was chasing down Sale (that’s the name of the perp), he fired four shots at him, then he didn’t have any which let Sale attack him (this is also one reason NOT to wear a crop top). Then he had to reload four bullets and we saw what happened… I get you like the little Stand bullet guys, but they seem to take an awful lot of glee in causing pain and suffering… even if it is someone who deserves it, so I’m not sure how I should feel about that! XD Driver, stop! Driver, go! Driver, turn around! Guys… this is why you don’t use a truck on a high speed chase. Somehow Sale is still alive after all this… I think this might’ve gone over your head, but after Mista left the truck and drug Sale into the building, when Giorno was commandeering the same truck, he was trying to go up the hill to catch up with Mista, completely unaware he had just left the truck and gone inside. This driver definitely needs to request some hazard pay… 😅

Ohhhh see I would have made Abbachio Rafael, but that's a good point about Fugo being quick to anger! Mista would actually be a sick Casey Jones!! Those assignments add up so well though haha! I was just watching Alicia x Life and she mentioned Resevoir Dogs too! I didn't even think of that! It's so memeable!! Good call about a possible reference to Pulp Fiction too!! Right, it seems like this is a much more hostile environment than what we're used to. Awww Mista's a great favorite to have! Ohhhh I didn't even catch that that he killed 4 people, omg! It makes sense that he got his Stand from the arrow after the test! Hahahah yes I immediately called it that there would be no #4!!!! It looks pretty good on you. In today's episodes my second favorite Jojo scene appeared. The torture dance of Narancia, Mista and Fugo is an iconic meme in the community. This dance is totally choreographed. If Narancia doesn't want to be in the gang anymore, he should become a dance teacher. I memorized the dance with my brother and then performed it at a family party. It was really super fun. The song for the dance is called Canzoni preferite (means favorite song in Italian). Another song to add to your Jojo playlist. In this episode we also got to know Mista better. He is a guy you just have to like right away. His backstory is not as tragic as from the others, but as you rightly said we haven't seen the full backstory from him yet. Sex Pistols is a really great stand with a lot of personality. Each number has a different demeanor which makes them very likable characters. Also Sale with his stand Kraftwerk ( a famous German band) is not so underestimate. The fight between him and Mista always fascinates me because it is so varied and exciting. It is remarkable that Sale could survive 2 head shots. You'll see in the next episodes that it won't be the last time Mista gets hit by his own bullets. This is a little joke that Araki always puts in to make Mista look even more like an idiot, even though he's not. For today's fanart, I thought I'd put in some Halloween fanart, since tomorrow is Halloween. and since it's your birthday, I'll put in some extra fanart. To continue on the association, I would surely say that Fugo would be Rapahael (he gets angry quite quickly), Abbachio and Giorno would undoubtedly share the role of Donattelo (logical mind), Bruno would be Leonardo (leader thing) as for Mista.. .Casey Jones maybe? The guy who's a bit funny, simple and always ends up in blood. The torture dance is so iconic and memeable. I think it's a reference to Reservoir Dog (even though I've never seen the film), it seems to me that one of the protagonists is dancing and singing while torturing one of his victims. To stay on Quentin Tarantino, Mista who is shot but whose bullets miss him, may be a reference to Pulp Fiction, where the characters of Sam L Jackson and John Travolta are also shot but no bullet hits them. For the story of trust, you talk about it a little but yes, it's the mafia environment, there can be spies working for other groups or people betraying the group later. It's better to be prepared for that just in case and given that Abbachio trusted a criminal too quickly, we can understand his current reluctance too. Mista is my boy. This is my favorite jojobro of this season and perhaps of all jojo in anime. Mista killed 4 people, given how much he hates this number, you can imagine that it didn't go well afterwards. To get an idea, just pay attention to the opening, the chains represent something in Mista's part, that will give you an idea of what could have happened to him. Additional clue, we already have a glimpse of it in this flashback.

I'm telling you, this season is memeing pretty hard. xD So let's start out with what I didn't bring up last time... Moody Blues is such a perfect stand for Abbachio, it makes sense for an EX-Cop to have a stand that'd be absolutely perfect for investigation. Though considering that... I have a funny feeling that he didn't have this stand before joining Bruno, otherwise he'd stay with the police force if he could. I want to say that Abbachio 'failed' the Black Sabbath test but ended up being chosen by the arrow...Though there's absolutely no evidence or Araki's word to back this up. Now let's talk about Sex Pistols! I love these little gremlins, but notice how there's no #4 in the group... And yet #5 gets bullied a lot, like the most out of the whole Sex Pistol crew. I mean technically there's no number 4... But... Without number 4, wouldn't that make #5 the FOURTH bullet? ...Naaaaah, that couldn't be the reason. ;D ....Could it?
