Here it is, the last chapter of the series Winter Maid. I really had fun with the whole series, but I felt it was time to end it to make room for new content. So far, all chapters revolved around the infamous SusceptGear who gave Mia all kinds of entertaining adventures, so I had to find a reason to end the fun on a good note. I hope you will appreciate the path I chose to finalize the series in a way that makes sense.
For people who are familiar with my other work, you might get an extra kick out of that story. ;) Not telling you why.
Also, if you are a fan of mind-control, don't despair, there will be more of that in future stories. It's always a fun fantasy topic to exploit. :)

They should reopen soon... I mean people are getting vaccinated like crazy, and if they don't have anything to do, they will start murdering each other. They HAVE to open.

2021-04-11 13:10:22 +0000 UTCIt's never easy to find an ending to a good series. I honestly don't think there is a good way to do it. People who loved the characters would be disappointed, no matter what. But in this case, I'm pretty happy to have found a "natural" way to finish this. :)
