*New Story* The Sun I Can't See - Chapter 4 - Part 2 (finale)

Previous chapters and stories

Happy Friday!

See attached the LAST chapter of The Sun I Can't See. That's it! This story is completed forever, and it kind of feels weird because I've been working on it for such a long time. I'm very proud of this story overall, and I hope you loved reading it as well.

This last part is meant to be a display of friendship and love. A display that no matter what difficulties we face in our life, there is hope for happiness. It is just a matter of looking inside ourselves and take a step back in this crazy world where we are pressured from all sides to succeed.

Take the time to be yourself.

Take the time to understand.

Take the time to love.

Enjoy!

Thanks. I'm glad you enjoyed the story until the end. :) I'm happy with the conclusion as well. I didn't want her to right away get back 100% with Miles, but I wanted to show that being honest with each other could be the best path to follow to heal wounds and progress in life.

Incredible conclusion, thank you.

In all honesty, I'm not blind and I'm far from understanding that world well. Being blind changes so many things that it's hard for us, sighted people, to realize the extent. When I wrote this story there were some things I didn't think about and some other things I avoided on purpose. The TV audio description was part of the latter category along with Alex not using a cane. If you noticed during this big story, Alex is still struggling with her handicap. She thinks it's the reason why she was still single. I decided to depict her as a girl who wanted to fit in what she considered the normal world. This is why she risked going to the park without her cane, and why she prefers letting people describe the the tv action to her. And to be perfectly honest, I tried to enable the audio description on a tv show, and it was extremely distracting to me. I don't know if you gradually lost your vision or used to see before, but if your were sighted before, I'm sure you will understand what I mean. :) I'm really happy a person who is blind finally commented on my story. Is it someone that recommended it to you or you found me by accident?

Thank you for this story. I am blind and have tears of joy for Alex , who was so authentic. Why doesn’t Alex have Netflix that has audio description?

I'm very happy with the ending. It leaves everything on a very humanly note. It's very hard to know what will work or not in a relationship, and common interests are not enough to determine that. All there is in this world is people attempting to make it work, and the good in us is what makes it possible.

Thanks for the story, I'll miss Alex's escapades but at the same time it is sometimes good to finish up a good thing and be happy with it.

You are welcome. Very proud of this story. But at the same time. I'm happy to end it. It will allow me to work on something else. :)

I liked this story. Loved the full circle approach. Please ending was awesome. Thanks.

It was a very fun story to write. Trying to tell it from a perspective that wasnt mind changed me for the better. I learned a few things while researching small details... Using aluminum tags on their clothes and how braille works. I have a better understanding of what they have to go through. :)

All good things must come to an end 😭 I love the story as a whole, how it shifted from live from a blind persons perspective to live (from a humans perspective). It made me consider the differences in perspective and ultimately how similar we all are. Als lots of hot latex dressup and play
