The Crow (1994) - WATCH ALONG Full Length Reaction

WOW this movie was awesome! I loved the whole 90s goth, grunge, rock and roll vibe that this movie had. Brandon Lee was incredible as Eric, he was definitely my favorite part of this whole movie. He was maniacal, menacing, he played the character so freaking well! I was sad to learn that he died during the making of this film, he was a great actor :( I really hope you guys enjoy my reaction to this <3

WOW! this is in that special small group of movies that i can watch again and again. Enjoyed your take on it so much, and i agree, there is nothing else quite like it. its a hard movie to explain to people, they just have to watch it and find out how great it is. and, in some ways, i think the kid sort of ties it all together. anyway, great great great job!

This was a really good movie!!

Albrect: move and you're dead. Eric: and I say I'm dead, and I move. Love that line.

I’ve been waiting for this one because it’s one of my all time favorites and I’m so glad you liked it.

Cool you finally got to see this. It's perfect for you.

Yep, Lauren, again, you brought the magic. This movie is such an Icon now. Brandon most definitely saved his best for last. It's just so sad how his end came...just like Heath Ledger. Most definitely a Joker feel to Brandon's look. Among my favorite scenes...Tin Tin's end.."Victims...aren't we all!" T-Birds comment to the main bad guy..."One of my crew got himself perished. Somebody stuck all of Tin Tin's knives in all his major organs in alphabetical order (who says bad guys can't be funny?) An aside, the actor who played T-Bird, yes he was in Commando...he also played Charlie (the clean up guy with the hat) in John Wick. The pawn shop was one of my favorite scenes. Eric quoting Poe's The Raven. The line, while flipping rings at the owner "each of these is life you helped destroy." The shot when he fires the shotgun and you see the rings for a split second...very cool. Michael Wicotts bad guy Top Dollar and his hyper cringy, creepy sister were well done villains. Eric was Maniacal (he did get dragged back to life after all.) His short speech to Darla before he sends her away (Mother is the name for God on the lips and hearts of all children.) All of his interactions with Albrect and Sarah. And yes, the end, when Shelly appears so she can take Eric home. Never fails to bring a tear. Love endures. This movie was a staple of the 90s, even though it carried a stigma, initially, because of what happened to Brandon. It's now regarded as his best work. He was brilliant in this role. As always Lauren, you brought the Gold. It was such a joy to watch this with you. This has been one I've been waiting for. Thank you. I wish you a beautiful night and an even more beautiful day. Peace and love. <3

This movie always hits me hard in the feels. I broke down in tears a number of times throughout. Your reaction! xD I don't know, I already knew the story. I've known it since I was a kid when I first watched this. I think that I watched this first when I was 7 years old in 1995. lol, my mom wouldn't take me to see this in theaters. :P Whatever though, after seeing this at our video store I told my mom to get it for me. She knew that I was serious in wanting this movie! Later that night when I watched this for the first time I was in awe! Both emotionally and because of all of the violence. This movie is BRUTAL!! It totally gets it's point across without any hesitation or reserve. I love it for that. I actually haven't read the comic but watching this now has really motivated me to pick some of the comics up to check them out. Thank you for giving this movie a watch! It's a fave of mine for a number of reasons. Another one of them being THE SOUNDTRACK!! Holy fuck - it's amazing! I LOVE the music in this. It's timelessly cool and will remain so. I'm such a happy camper tonight! :D

I pretty much had this on a loop in my early 20's. Did you pick T Bird as the cleaner from John Wick?

I'll be watching shortly. Yes, Brandon saved his best for last. I'll comment after. Thank you Lauren <3

HELL YEAH!! I'm legit SO HAPPY to see this reaction on here tonight! I'm beyond stoked to watch this with you. :D This is a childhood fave for me. :)

Brandon Lee's father, Bruce Lee, was a legendary actor in his own right!!! the film "Enter the Dragon" is considered his most iconic film

This is in my top 3 favorite movies (Braveheart, and the 2002 The Count of Monte Cristo being 1 and 2.) I feel like Brandon was on his way to being an awesome action star until his death.
