PUBG just ticks a lot of boxes. Custom games, with a password. Custom team sizes with in-game voice, Can accommodate a LOT of players at one time. No advantage (gear or weapon wise) to having been playing for years or for days. No way to Pay to Win. If another game ticks the boxes, I'm sure they'd be open to it.
