Afterword - Tackling The Debt - Chapter 2

I had written this story a while ago and didn't have time to edit it fully until a few days before it's release. I swear, I must have changed 1/4 of the original text. I read it one final time on Friday before publishing, and I was extremely happy with its quality.

Also, I love this story. I love Sci-fi, and this is a mild way to integrate it into a kinky story. In chapter two, the sci-fi is minor, but that is how I like it. It has to feel realistic.

So, where to start with this afterword. I guess I will thank my readers first for once. At the time I'm writing those lines, you were 32 souls willing to support me, which is amazing. When I started my Patreon two months and a half ago, you were 10, 19 the month after, and 32 this month, which makes it the most significant growth so far, which is very motivating to me. The only way I can really thank you is by working as hard as I can and provide you with stories you like.

Now, Tacking The Debt 2... After chapter 1, I was not super happy with the ending. It looked like Chloe was heading to a prostitution life, but it never been my intention. Her encounter with the man in the park was supposed to be her opportunity to show she  was caring about people. I think it came off wrong.

So, when I started writing chapter 2, I had no idea where it would go, nor was Chloe. She needed some clothes and a haircut, and then the scene of her trying to think about her future while sitting on the bench was heading to be a major roadblock.

How do you make that much money that quickly? It is not an easy question. If I had the answer, I would be rich in real life. But then, Kate met her... I don't even know how I came up with this whole idea of Kate being the designer of the clone. It just happened. I was just typing and thinking, "this is great!"

For the word she used against Chloe to make her follow, I think I had a memory of the movie Serenity, when they use a special word to stop River from fighting in the bar. Then later, I realized that spoken words do have effects on our physiology. We react differently if we are told "i love you" or "I hate you" ... I just made them more fun with Chloe's clone.

The story with Matt didn't develop a lot, but I think Chloe finally convinced him to have some fun with her sleeping body. For some reason, and I blame the endless hours of editing for that, it doesn't feel wrong anymore. It really falls into the category of love dolls with a twist. I'm going to have fun with this in the next chapters, I'm sure. Maybe I'm just a pervert. ;)

In the end, I'm pleased with this chapter, and I hope you liked it as well. I haven't started drafting the 3rd chapter yet as it is not a priority story, but I know for sure some people really want to find out what will happen next. I'll do my best not to make you wait too long. :)
