Dark City (1998) - FULL LENGTH Movie Reaction

Thanks for watching Tom! This movie definitely had some interesting twists and turns, it was like trying to figure out a puzzle! I enjoyed that about it though, very unique movie, mysterious.

busy week, but I specifically set aside time to watch this reaction over two evenings because I didn't want to miss anything! this is an awesome movie that doesn't get anywhere near the level of recognition that it deserves. I really enjoyed watching you discover little twists and turns, the mysteries, all of the amazing little bits of this film. I personally think this thing is a masterpiece, and I think every single person that watches it ends up having slightly different thoughts on it, specifically because it leaves some gaps for us to fill in for ourselves. I have recommended this movie to a lot of people in the past, so I feel a little silly that I had almost forgotten about it until your review! keep up the good work.

Hello! This is one of my favorite movies of all time! The reason most people are having syncing issues is because you watched the the director's cut version (which is the BETTER version for sure!) I have it on blu-ray which has both versions and can confirm this.

Is anyone having issues viewing this video? I got some feedback that the audio is not aligned and there is echo? please let me know

Oh how strange? When I watch it the audio and everything matches up just fine. I don't hear any echo either so I'm not sure what you're referrring to. Perhaps I'm not understanding correctly. Are you watching it on your own device at the same time?

Now that I remember why I don’t recommend this movie was because the plot for the “strangers/aliens” didn’t make sense. But they do look like they could be with the same universe as the Pinheads.

I'm really having trouble watching this. lol, I've got to mute what I'm watching and use the reaction's audio instead. It's super difficult to match up the times. In the future, could you please mute your end Lauren? Mute it and throw timestamp on there so we can time it up right. lol, I nearly got this straight but it always was one half second off either way, which means I'm stuck watching it a fraction of a second off on mute or both audios and I hear a ridiculously annoying echo throughout.

dark city!?!?! it's a favorite of mine! now I'm gonna be wishing the day was over and I was home again so I could watch your reaction! it's a unique movie, dark and twisty, epic visuals, it makes you think.

Good choice it definitely got my wheels turning!

That's why I picked it I was curious about how you would feel about it from a psychological perspective; and the sci Fi spin on it's onion peeling of the human condition.
