TIME BANDITS... I wish I didn't live in CA because 7pm is just 4pm for me :( I do have a request though. A movie NO ONE ELSE IS WATCHING! TIME BANDITS! Yes, that's right. Time Bandits by Academy Award winning Monty Python Alumni Terry Gilliam starring Sean Connery, Shelly Duvall, Michael Palin, and Satan on an eternal quest to understand transistor radios. This movie is not good but it is amazing. It is a cult classic that bombed but because Gilliam is a genius who went on to be one of the most famous directors ever, it has since gained so much respect that Taika Waititi is remaking it as a show. The concept is that the Creator has a map of all time and space and his garnders decided they would make better bandits using the map to steal from all of time and history along with their accidental tag along friend, Kev... I think a lot of people would agree with me on this one. It's super silly and supposed to be.

The Holiday, Krampus (horror holiday/comedy), Just Friends, The Christmas Chronicles are all pretty great. All very different vibes though.

In that category I would say, Gremlins, The Holiday, Black Friday (if your in the mood for more Bruce Campbell), Scrooged, Fatman (If you want a little action), A Christmas Story (for the traditionalists). The first Grumpy Old Men takes place around Christmas, but does not center on the holiday.

OFFICE CHRISTMAS PARTY, a hilarious adult-ish romp of late-20, early-30, corporate monkeys trying to hold an office party both for thier coworkers, and to impress a hopeful business buyer. Completely inappropriate, but outrageous adult fun!

It's a little early, but we don't have thanks giving so the shops already have the Christmas stuff out down here, so how about The Grinch That Stole Christmas (2000).
