*New story* The Sun I Can't See - Chapter 1 - Sunrise

Thanks L. I'm pretty proud of myself for trying this stunt. I hope this story will end up in the hands of a person that is blind one day and that they will tell me that I didn't totally screw up their perspective. And you put your finger on it ... I used Alex to funnel my own fears and struggle with negative thoughts that opening to someone else can bring. Also that a little push from another person can bring good things sometimes. I agree with Johann. You've chosen a, for lack of a better word, perspective I had never considered and you deliver it lovingly and consenting. There is certainly tension but it comes from a basis of consent and emotional vulnerability rather than force or similar and that makes it so nice to read (and also relatable as I think we all struggled with what to hide or reveal on a date)

Hey. Thanks for reading it. I appreciate this so much. Yes, it was very difficult to write avoiding the sense of sight. I loved the challenge. Don't feel bad about discovering the truth at page 7. It was designed that way. Some people told me they understood right away and other only when she admitted it. It all depends on the reader. That is how I wanted it to be. (actually the later the better). Consent is something I value very much. I may play with it a lot, flirting with the grey zone sometimes, but in the end, as you said, it is much better when everybody is onboard. Chapter 2 of this story will display that really strongly. That second chapter is schedule for the 1st of may, but i may release it sooner. we shall see.

I think the idea is great, there is a lot of potential. It is probably very difficult to take this perspective in writing, but it also offers many new ways of expressing sensations. I have to confess that it took me to page 7 to understand what is going on with the main character, although it should be obvious after the first sentence. The story is well written and I can't wait to find out where you want to go with the story. p.s. I like how much consent there is in your stories. I think it's more fun to read when you know that everyone in having fun.
