Added 2022-12-14 12:27:04 +0000 UTCHey everyone! Here I am with Jojo season 1, episode 18!!! WHOA!!! Poor Suzie Q, what a grotesque event this whole thing was!! Thank God that Jojo was thinking fast though, and I wonder if anything will come of it between him and Suzie Q one day! Meanwhile, we're off on another adventure, this time to get that darn stone back, and who should show up but....STROHEIM?!?!?! WOW!! He's back and he's, well, looking pretty bionic! And of course, everyone has an agenda for the stone, so yeah, that should be interesting. Also Kars can't be ALL bad if he helped a dog, just saying! Great ep! Enjoy! ~ MH

Thank you!!! Flesh buddies LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That's not a bad point that what happened to Suzi was also sort of a form of violation. Poor Suzi! It's why in SDC I was like, Joseph just tell her what's going on, if she could handle that she can handle anything! Oh I don't like that either, I love Suzi!!! She's probably the closest I have to a self insert on the show haha. Hahah yes please adopt them and keep them safe!

I barely remember mine, but my reactions to fleshbudded!Kakyoin & fleshbudded!Polnareff and gonnabefleshbuddedinasec!Joseph (they're all flesh buddies! No wait that's sounding tooo wrong pft) were along the lines, so I'm pretty sure I must've reacted to our Suzie the way you did. 😀 (there's a sebate online whether what Dio did to Kakyoin just before sdc began can be metaphorically (not literally, metaphorically) seen as a... rape... and I'd posit that it's strange that not many people talk about the fact that poor Suzie suffered the same...metaphorical... that... too. As if Suzie was a less important victim just because not as many fans find her cute and engaging, and I don't like that, ya know! People. Pls defend Noriaki from Dio, but pls defend Suzie from Eisidisi, too, when talking about such stuff in the series. Pretty pls. & if it's the age matter, well then, young Suzie is only a year or two older than Kakyoin, is just as innocent, and deserves just as much protection and fans forget her bad experience. Anyway! Sorry for this, just always wanted to say it, after too much lurkage on jjba foras & reddits. Anyway, idk if you agree with me, but... XD 😆 / adopts Suzie, Kakyoin & Pilnareff & puts them under protection from sexy bad guys forever

(Though surely no JoJo will ever go to Poland, though I'd soooo love to see it, you know? But there would need to be a musician!JoJo first. They'd go to Poland to see Chopin's heart and..... /writes a fanfic, now inspired. Pft. Not that anybody wants to read such an odd fic, ever. Kidding but 😆

She for sure didn't deserve that. I know, I'm sad too, with only a handful of eps left and not knowing if he makes it out! He's really loveable! Exactly!!!! Anyone who would willingly do that - that says something. It was clearly quite intentional, especially coming from someone who appears to see pretty much any other lifeform as way beneath him. I can't wait to see either!!

Lol I don't think there's such a thing as getting too obsessed over a dog! If they show me a dog, everyone knows what they're in for :P I could see that, that he just values life to a degree. Oh Frankenstein's monster works too! Hahaha predictability went out the window a long time ago, agreed!!

Yeah, they didn't stand a chance against Kars. I agree about the characters!! Jojobros, I love it!! Hmm, interesting that the characters are so well done that sometimes the Bros outshine the Jojos! It is weird to have Stroheim portrayed this way but I suppose it's very human in that no one is 100% evil or good. But yeah, they're definitely showing us that everyone, even bad guys, have various different qualities - some good, some bad. I stand by it that Kars can't be all bad if he saved a dog lol!!

I felt so bad for Suzi Q, we didn’t know her that long but I think her opening with the two fashion choices was very telling. She’s just a sweet innocent person who just enjoys doing her job. I thought that would be the end, I’m so glad she made it. She didn’t deserve all that done to her. Big ups to Jojo for seeing a silver lining in this battle, not many would try and do that. I’m sad thinking this arc may be nearing because I love Joseph. Also for me I think that’s not such a small thing to consider. He didn’t have to save the dog. Anyone willing to save a dog has to have moral behavior & in this case there was no hesitation. So I’m interested in what’s going to ensue for sure with this one.

Speaking of, Lisa Lisa seems pretty calm for someone who’s getting rudely interrupted - how did she end up not getting one splatter on herself? But it does kind of show you the length the Pillar Men are going to go to to accomplish their mission. Ok, first: I know it’s you lol - but you are getting a little too obsessed with the dog in this episode. That being said, it’s more to show that while Kars is ruthless he despises meaningless violence. There’s a method to their madness, if you will. Also you went with Darth Vader, but I was thinking Frankenstein works too. We should probably stop trying to guess what happens next at this point. 😂

2022-12-14 21:39:50 +0000 UTCHi Hime :) Suzi Q is as you guessed it, a reference to Suzi Quatro, but also the song Susie Q. You got to see one of the rare moments where a dog is saved instead of something else. Unfortunately for you, most won't be so lucky. Just like the characters in the story, these "poor" Nazis did not survive very long face to face with Kars (or rather back to him). One of the most successful things in this arc is its characters. You already said you adore Joseph, Caesar is a good rival/friend, Lisa Lisa a good coach, Suzi Q in two episodes is shown to be super cute. Moreover, the companions of a Jojo are nicknamed the jojobros, a name that you should remember, because it will always be Jojo and the Jojobros and these will be numerous, some are even sometimes more interesting than the Jojo himself but this is just my opinion. As for the villain, for Esidisi, Jojo teaches us to have respect for him, Kars is shown to be very threatening (but protected a dog and later you will still see a certain kind of kindness with him), Wamuu very nole and Stroheim , he went from Nazi villain to fallen hero, then back to cyborg, almost making us happy to see him again...even if it's strange to say that about a Nazi lol.
