Those Patreon Changes

Hi everyone, as I’m sure many of you are probably aware of by now, Patreon has made some major changes to how they handle pledges that shifts the burden of paying necessary fees from creators to patrons in a way that’s…really not cool for you guys, and a lot of creators are really upset about it. Heck, even though I’m a creator, I’m also a patron of many other artists whose work I enjoy, and this is going to make things harder for me, too.
I guess this post is just for me to acknowledge that this seems to be the case now, unfortunately Patreon seems unlikely to back out of the decision anytime soon, and I’m not happy with the extra burden it puts on you guys, some of who have been supportive of me for a really long time now! If you need to reduce or remove your patreon pledges from me in order to keep your own finances in order, I completely understand.
A few other things: if you are thinking of reducing patronage or leaving Patreon because of these extra fees, but would still like to support The Skybox, Ko-fi is another excellent resource that you can use at any time, and doesn’t require a consistent monthly pledge.
If you’d like me to make some changes to how I handle reward tiers or the rewards themselves, I am open to suggestions right now.
Whatever you do, I just want to say thank you so much for your support of my work and my stories! It honestly means so much to me!
