Added 2022-09-09 11:21:37 +0000 UTCHey everyone! Here I am with episode 7 of Spy x Family, yayyyyy!!! OMG, talk about a comedy of errors in this one! Clearly Damian is having some strong feelings that he can't quite understand, which of course the rest of our crew is interpreting as rejection / failure of the plan. Also Loid really flexing those top spy skills in this one by being LITERALLY EVERYWHERE with his message for Anya hahaha! I loved the ending, where Loid learns you can't rush a mission or good parenting. My sweet Anya baby, falling asleep while studying.....I can't!!!!!!!!!!!!! XD Great ep! Enjoy! ~ MH

True about Becky, as much as she's being a good friend, that might not help in this particular situation. Hahahha it is a bit wacky the way Loid was able to get everything done :P Oh that's so true, Anya's the most lovable girl ever! But he's definitely conflicted! Again, not really helpful to the mission atm haha. So true that Loid is also struggling with a lot of new feelings and concepts! Good point about Yor being a nice balance and how they both need to make some adjustments. I'm sure they'll figure it out! HAHAHAHAHA this is what Ruby has to look forward to after all the trauma of the last 8 volumes :P Waku waku!

Anyway, we’ve decided to change the name of this anime for this arc from Spy x Family to “My Hero WAKUdemia!” 😁 This is definitely an Anya-centric episode but it’s not so much about her as what everyone else around her is doing on her behalf. First, Becky seems like a genuine friend she’s made which might be both a good thing and a bad thing, as she definitely doesn’t have a high opinion of the person Anya needs to get close to. Loid is definitely a master spy, but there’s a little bit of belief stretching… first off, when did he have time to change all the scenery in the school and how’d he know to have a fortune mirror ready? He’s do good it’s borderline ridiculous. As for Damian, well… his head’s telling him one thing and his heart’s telling him another. (First off, can you blame him? You’d have to have a pretty icy heart not to love Anya.) Of course, though, this might complicate things even more than Loid realizes…. Damian however, isn’t the only one wrestling with two different sides of himself, Loid and Yor are both struggling with what they need to do practically vs what they want. They’re just going about it in different ways. Loid is so worried about getting his mission done he’s squeezing Anya a little too tight. Fortunately Yor is kind of a yang to his yin, and helps him ease up a little. But she keeps talking as if she herself wasn’t important, while Loid feels too responsible, she doesn’t feel important enough. There’s gonna have to be a happy medium for both of them. Maybe realizing Anya is really trying will help. Also you mentioned Yor being sweet and kind but also going straight to violence for teaching. Since it’s JP Ruby’s VA, I keep looking at her like “this is Ruby in ten years time.” XD As for the brother, well, that’s the next episode, so I better go watch that reaction! WAKU WAKU!
