Added 2022-08-26 11:30:35 +0000 UTCHey everyone! Here I am with episode 4 of Spy x Family, yayyyyy!!! WOW, this school is ridiculous!!! Watching our fam get around everything thrown at them was really....well....elegant XD Oh yeah, the headmaster is ALL kinds of fun too!!! NOT a big fan of the former headmaster's son though! I think Loid showed amazing restraint punching the table and not him - can't say I would have done the same!
I loved them all feeling these caring feelings for each other, helping and comforting each other like a family, etc. And I think they made a great impression on the headmaster, so we'll see!!! Great ep! Enjoy! ~ MH

2022-09-02 12:38:22 +0000 UTCSo, as someone who has spent time in real Berlin, Germany, I can tell you that the red brick facade of Eden College is very architecturally reminiscent of the Rotes Rathaus (Red City Hall) in former East Berlin, first constructed in the 1860s. It's not identical in form, but I think it's meant to evoke the real world building for those familiar with the landscape of urban Berlin.

Ohhhhhh....that is a subtle but meaningful change of terms when it comes to Anya.........! Hahahaha yeah I would absolutely be scared of these three as well. Ugh, so he was just trying to fail everyone. I had a feeling his actions were just because he's a miserable person. And yeah, it seems many situations are political. That is so true, everyone here realizes just how they're feeling because of the a-hole, so that's good! Hahahaha yeah as soon as I saw Anya's eyes tear up I knew he needed to just die. :P That's so true, they're growing into these roles and they all have some kind of stake to claim here too. Hahahahaha OMG extraordinary Yang joke there!!!! That bug never stood a chance against Loid! :P

Anyway, just when you think we can’t get any more ridiculous, the entrance exam makes an oppressive government rule look like a day at Disneyland. Point if clarification: it was said earlier that Anya WAS an experiment, not that she was experimented ON. So is that specific verbiage supposed to mean something? I mean, Master Henderson (the ELEGANT guy) is pretty right to be scared of these people… so you know anyone who keeps three changes of clothes and can do a Superman phone booth change on cue? I’d be a little scared, too. Swan (the nasty one) does mention he’s trying to fail them, and it’s brought up it’s because he just got divorced and lost custody of his own daughter - so now, he’s taking it out on everyone else. Of course it isn’t fair, but it does show you that it isn’t always about who you are, but who you know. Speaking of this idiot, he does serve one rather crucial purpose: his BS is actually calling out real emotion in Loid, Yor, and Anya. Loud keeps saying “we’re a pretend family” in his head, but his fist is getting more clenched the worse it gets, while Yor clearly isn’t okay with what’s going on. But he miscalculated and did the worst thing imaginable: HE MADE ANYA CRY. Welp, that’s unforgivable, let’s feed him to a Grimm. The truth of the matter is all three of them are getting quite comfortable in their situation, and they all need it to work: not all for the same motives or reasons, but it’s extremely important for all of them that it works out. As for this thing called emotions - well, that’s for another time. By the way Loid did really squash a mosquito but it was only the second best punch in the episode. I guess you could say something was really… BUGGING him? 😉

Also yeah, how could one not resist the urge to pet the pigs before realizing they were gonna be trampled to death lol. I'd be an instant fail so don't feel bad!!!!!!!

I trudge my feet when I walk, I don’t help anyone stuck in a situation because I am the one usually stuck in a situation, I’d run straight for the pigs in the stampede to try and pet before I forfeit my life and I do pack extra clothes but it’s only because I stain them very easily (I like pudding). They would indubitably laugh at my faux pas efforts. 🧐😅🥺

2022-08-27 10:51:02 +0000 UTCThe family outing is just wholesome and also highlights the personality of Yor, Anya and Loid, in addition to showing their chemistry together. "Don't mess with mama" oh my dear, you couldn't be more right and you will see it for yourself much later. The interview is a scene that I love, since as you said, Anya was completely honest in saying that she wants to stay with her "parents" and that she loves them. Same, seeing Loid get upset when the other ahole insults Yor and Yor in kill mode after he's made Anya cry, it's so badass and cute at the same time, so very... elegant.
