Oh man, nothing could have prepared me for Gon NOT knowing what was really going on with Kite.....good lord that was painful!!!!!!! I knew deep down there was no way to help him, I guess I just kept hoping I was wrong. Pitou was downright gracious letting Gon grieve a little, but didn't waste much time getting that arm healed so they could attack. So glad Palm can keep us up to date on what's going on - Killua, your bestie needs you now more than ever!!! Great ep! Enjoy!! ~ MH

Awwww happy belated birthday!!! I hope you love my next reaction too! I've gotta believe that that's probably true - they knew but just didn't know how to break it to him or make him understand. He was getting pretty scary over it too lol! That makes a lot of sense actually :/

2023-06-30 13:38:35 +0000 UTCMan, almost perfect timing if it had been the next episode, but this and Hondo back in Rebels is still a good birthday lol. My thought was that everyone else except maybe Killua knew that Kite was dead. Gon was the only one that seriously believed he’s alive and everyone else just couldn’t bring themselves to tell him, especially when they saw just how much Kite was motivating Gon when Morel wanted Gon to prove he was ready. And Gon scared the crap out of everyone except Killua with how much power he drew out after Morel said to imagine he was Pitou. After seeing how much strength just the thought of Kite gave Gon, how could they bring themselves to say Kite was dead?

But yeah, this was raw as hell; Kite is dead, and there's nothing Pitou can do about it. But I guess there's a silver lining... I just can't think of it. Guess that's the magic of despair 💁♂️🤐🙏 (I really am sorry about all the emotional turmoil, I promise 😅)
