Whoa, the process for saving our kids was quite an interesting one! Rimuru helped with most of it, which was great - we truly couldn't have done this without him! Kenya seemed to attract a spirit all on his own, and WHOA can someone explain what the heck happened with Chloe's spirit?! That was INSANE!!! You just know that's gonna come into play later! Speaking of which, who on earth was the individual at the end?!?! Guess we'll find out...!!! Great ep! Enjoy! ~ MH

The spirit inhabiting Chloe is the "Spiritual form" (soul?) of the previous Hero, the woman who saved and became the master of Shizu(e). Basically she reincarnated through Chloe but she won't be truly reborn until she gets old enough. In some isekai light novels, some characters rebirth into children or adults at a certain age, that they suddenly have their memories flowing when they reach a certain age from a past life, or their entire self gets plopped instantly into the new body without needing memories to flow in. Ramiris said she has "set" things up so she will be reborn again, so the original master of Shizu will be reborn possibly regaining her past memories and skills at a certain age. I would even theorize her body will change to grow older if she is 'reborn' earlier than expected. The reason why Veldora reacted to the Spirit and to Chloe before they even searched for the Labyrinth is because Veldora detects Chloe to be the reincarnation of Shizu's master, the one who sealed him. It's a little confusing so just tuck this scene with Chloe's spirit in the back of your memory for later.

2022-09-11 05:09:57 +0000 UTCThere's a difference between 'evolving' into a Demon Lord (which is known to be a 'true' Demon Lord) as opposed to those who are Demon Lord in title akin to nobility. Clayman falls under this category. Milim is one of the few who are true Demon Lord as its been referenced in the anime that something bad or traumatic happened to her which had triggered her evolution to become a Demon Lord.
