Added 2022-04-20 11:23:28 +0000 UTCHey everyone! Here it is - my reaction to season 1 episode 4 of That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime! We get to go meet the Dwarves in this one, nice!! Definitely a much more industrialized area than we've been in so far. And just what is this war that's brewing? Or this mysterious character who pops up at the end? Meanwhile though, Rimuru proves that it's not just strength that makes a slime great, but also the fact that they can basically get you ANYTHING you need!!! The magical ore came in SO handy!!! And so did the potions!! Oh yeah, and Rimuru most definitely got rewarded for it.....:P LOL!! Can't wait to see what's happening next! Great ep! Enjoy! ~ MH

That's a great point, and Veldora did point that out! I knew it was sort of a thing, but it does seem to be a huge rule of the world.

2022-05-09 11:19:08 +0000 UTCSomething not emphasized enough is how with monsters in this world, where, as Veldora once said, "Survival of the fittest is the prevailing truth of this world.". Monsters recognize strength. If you defeat them, or even if they see you can do so, they will generally submit themselves to you. It is one of the reasons Ranga and pack follow Rimuru. It is why they pretty much don't seem to rebel or break the rules that much.
