Hunter x Hunter 1x35 "The × True × Pass" reaction & review

Hey everyone!  Here's my reaction to episode 35!  AHHHHHH here we go you guys!!!  Not only does Gon officially graduate / learn what's really been going on lol, but we finally get to the battle we've all been waiting for here!!!  I'm happy, too, that this sets Killua a bit ahead as well, since he won't have to go through the Nen part of the exam again, at least.  Zushi will get there too lol!!!  OMG GUYS.  I was on the edge of my seat the whole time during this fight!  And it's only just begun!!!  To think, Gon (and Killua, as he was watching) were able to detect that opening.  AND WOW, what an incredibly satisfying moment to see Gon PUNCH HIM IN THE FACE!!!!!!  So meaningful on so many different levels hahha!!!  Can't wait to see what happens next!  Great ep!  Enjoy!  ~ MH

Hahahaha it's totally wrong but such an unforgettable moment!!! It's pure Hisoka!!! Yeah no, that's never ever gonna fly on TV in the States....! I think you make a good point by mentioning that it's really not even attraction in the general sense, it's bloodlust with an emphasis on the lust. He's definitely waiting for Gon to hit his peak strength so that they can fight, for sure!

I've been waiting for your reaction to SCHWING!! I think it's my favourite moment in Hunter x Hunter because it's just so.... wrong! You would never, EVER get it on TV here. I know that I fell about laughing when I first saw it. I think some people confuse it with paedophilia but it's not. It's bloodlust (with the emphasis on the lust). He's totally turned on by the determination and aggression in Gon's eyes, the idea of a good fight with someone fresh. It doesn't matter to him that Gon is a child. His interest is not sexual in that way. Perhaps he's even more excited because Gon is not yet fully formed as a fighter. He's good enough now to be worth Hisoka's time, but I don't think Hisoka wants to damage or kill him, because he knows Gon will get better.

Yes!!! Great point! And yes it's a lot for sure! Hahaha right?!?! It's so innocent and then later we get....umm....a more "adult" Hisoka :P

I love that the show repeatedly shows and define each application of nen. It becomes muscle memory cause they're said and used a lot. It's a lot to take in and learn. I really appreciate it too! I loved how you mentioned Hisoka's most favorite candy snacks, it's so not him and then later get not so innocent Hisoka xD
