Hunter x Hunter 1x30 "Fierce × And × Ferocious" reaction & review

Hey everyone!  Here's my reaction to episode 30!  In true Gon fashion, Gon manages to size up the situation very quickly and take some VERY DANGEROUS measures to try and deal with it!!  Yikes!!!  Our boy really has no fear sometimes, and I loved that even Killua was giving him the business about it lol.  It's nothing but rest for him now!  Meanwhile, Kurapika finds out the big truth....!!!  You know, does anyone else find it curious that both Gon AND Kurapika have now randomly encountered people who want to train them in the ways of Nen???  I'm wondering if this all has to do with the exam somehow...!!!!  Can't wait to see!
Great ep!  Enjoy!  ~ MH

Oh yes!!! I noticed that but never had an explanation for it until later. That makes so much sense!! Yeah I mean....it wasn't so much a lie as much as it was.....a probable future truth??? :P So true about Wing, and yes, it was well-intentioned for sure!! Hisoka at the end of the day is sort of the ultimate hedonist....he's just gonna do what he's gonna do to....well....enjoy himself. :P

Something explicitly shown much previously in the manga (at the testing gate where he heals much earlier) is that Gon has phenomenal healing powers. And now we get more explanation that it's perhaps due to innate Ten(?), which Wing said could help prevent aging etc - same way as he figured out Zetsu(?) - the one that enables you to hide yourself - on his own, without realizing what it was. So although Killua was lying about what the doctor said about recovery time, he was inadvertently correct about Gon needing nowhere near as much time as predicted by the doctors. Definitely agree with what Spadeass said above about Wing's aura at the end. Just like with Hisoka, he lost control, except that in Wing's case, he is well intentioned, whereas Hisoka is - well - Hisoka!

I gotta believe you can be compatible with an object, otherwise my impressive collection of figurines wouldn't be as pristine as they are without my care. 😏 Also nice reaction, you're asking all the right questions. 😏👌

Hi Spadeas! :) Ahhh okay, thanks for clearing that up about what Wing meant and what was going on with his aura! I can't wait to meet this master...!!! Ah, so it's not exactly planned by the examiners, but definitely what they were intending for them to learn next! Got it! Hahahah yes Killua cat!!! I noticed! Yeah, maybe it wasn't quite a lie then!!! That's awesome, I'm loving this show so much - thanks for watching with me!

Hi Hime :) Good reaction as always. What to start with ? I'm going to start with Gon and Wing, what Wing's passage about the potential of Gon and the beast released means, above all is that Gon has a monstrous potential and well trained, he could become the elite of the elite, that's where Gon is a beast. Wing's expression and aura change, are just due to excitement, Gon (and Killua), are potential beings that you don't come across often and for a Nen master, that must be something to see this. It’s the same reason, besides creepy, that Hisoka was excited too. Gon is exceeding his expectations and he is already beginning to see that a match against him could be interesting. For the master Wing talks about, I'm not going to say a lot, but we will meet him in the future and I had completely forgotten that these two were masters and students elsewhere ^^ '. But we have to realize that Wing surely also had to learn the nen from someone. Which brings me to Kurapika and the exam, indeed, to learn the Nen is part of the continuation of the Hunter exam, and their license allows them to enter places reserved for Hunters, which will inevitably bring them to cross people using the Nen and therefore able to teach them. It is not planned by the hunter association, but it is the logical continuation. Finally, I just wanted to say that we had another Killua cat in this episode, when he lied to Wing about Gon's recovery, it will take him 4 months according to the doctor, and Killua said 2 months. But knowing Gon, 2 months will be enough don't you think? ^^ I'm glad you really like the show, HxH is one of my top favorite and a really good show.
