Added 2021-06-23 12:18:31 +0000 UTCHey everyone!!! Here it is - my reaction to Jujutsu Kaisen episode 12!! Umm...I was seriously not ready for this ep! Poor Yoshino...!!!! I knew he'd get stabbed in the back, but watching it didn't make it any easier. And I was SO not ready for what happened....!! I think Mahito and I were equally surprised that the pact didn't happen lol. But WOW, what a way to make an enemy of Yuji, dang!!!! Thank God Nanami has shown up to size up the situation and make this the best tag team ever!! Oh yeah and by the way, just so everyone knows....THERE'S NO WAY YOSHINO IS REALLY DEAD!!!!! I WON'T ACCEPT IT!!! I have a feeling we're in for a crazy ride....! Great ep - enjoy!!! ~ MH

It did NOT feel like we were building all that up for this to happen. Ahhhh okay, thanks for clearing that up, I didn't realize you couldn't have more than one pact at a time. That makes total sense! It does seem like Sukuna is just laying low right now, the theory about more fingers makes sense but it does make you wonder if he's planning something more! I agree that I think there's definitely more to him, and his motives, than Mahito bargained for!!!!

Right, it's a much harsher plan than we usually see in anime but it's carried out fairly realistically. And yeah, no "enemy of my enemy" here!!!!! Dang! OMG same, them laughing at Yuji was the cherry on top of the crap cake when it comes to everything we'd been dealing with in this ep lol. Ohhhh sriracha is a good choice!!! LOL I just about died when I read the butter finger joke!!!!!!!!!! I live for corny/dad jokes and this just made my day hahahha!!!!!!

Ohhh yes I was getting flashbacks for sure to Parasyte lol! Glad I wasn't missing anything with the Juju Stroll. Manny - I think that's a really good theory actually!! So messed up right!!!

2021-06-24 19:35:14 +0000 UTCI was going to compare your refusal to accept Yoshino's death with the Penny situation, but the jokes I came up with just seemed mean-spirited. It's funny how in just such a short time we were able to see such a wonderful character be built up, with so much potential and such a mixture of hope and sadness - it feels like he was around much longer than just 3 episodes. Mahito thinks he understands Sukuna's motivations - take over Yuji's body, wreak havoc. He doesn't know that Sukuna HAS a pact already, and that for the time being he is satisfied with that. Sukuna doesn't feel a need to take over at this current time, for whatever reason - maybe he thinks he has a better chance of getting more fingers if he lays low, or maybe he doesn't respect Mahito enough to team up with him? Maybe he doesn't want to get on the Jujutsu Sorcerors' bad side yet? Or maybe he has a plan of his own. I've read scattered bits of the manga, and have a good idea of what comes next, but I stopped when I heard about the anime release. So I am not sure of what motivates Sukuna myself. But I think he is more patient and more subtle than Mahito gives him credit for.

2021-06-24 05:56:34 +0000 UTCIm probably reaching. I know I am actually but it just made me a bit sad seeing this one. I just remember the transformed ones saying "lunchbox" and "detergent". So I think they're transfigured kids with some sense or awareness playing.

Mahito did all this to get to Sukuna, why would he care for a kid. It's very sad. This shows that the bad guys are not buddy buddy. They shared a chuckle at the expense of Itadori but that was it. Sukuna refusing Itadori reminded everyone at the time that this guy is not here to help. He's a curse much like Mahito. Them laughing at Itadori really had me boiling mad. I was too upset. Also if I were crazy enough to eat them fingers I'd go with sriracha sauce. Or maybe just peanut butter. So that anyone with a peanut allergy wouldn't lay a finger on my butter finger. XD I'll see myself out. 🚪 🚶

When Yuji wanted to come back to life, Sukuna offered him a pact, we did not see them pass it, but he had said then that Yuji would not remember the pact. And there, Sukuna says precisely "He does not remember it, perfect", it is a clue to say that the pact is passed. About Mahito, funny details, like I said his VA is the same as the hero of Parasyte. So when Mahito turned his right hand into a sharp blade, I had flashbacks lol And for Jujutsu stroll, I don't think there is much to understand, it's just curses playing Pop up Pirate. A game where you plant swords in the barrel, each in turn, the one who pop up the pirate loses.
