Artist note: I'm slowly understanding how to shade darker tone characters, literally baby steps for me lmao.
As you noticed with this piece, I looked up a few references of photos and a few artist pieces on how others shade darker tone characters. I think the hardest part is trying to keep a balance of dark and light values within a greenish environment, I guess it looks okay enough.
