Added 2021-05-20 13:16:02 +0000 UTCHey everyone! Here's my reaction to episode 21! Well, in this one we get a very angry and determined Gon, which I'm happy about! And we also dig a little deeper into what exactly might be going on with Killua. I also loved how passionate all the friends were about helping him, including Leorio even being willing to put his dreams in jeopardy (or at least suggest that they should be) to help Killua!!! The absolute worst part about Illumi is that apparently this is so not even a big deal to him - this is just normal for their family. Really happy to be moving beyond the exam phase and into the saving Killua phase!!!! .....OR AM I?!?!?! Satotz better be joking you guys!!!!!! Oh yeah, and a fun little reveal about Jing as well!!!! So looking forward to what's next! Great ep! Enjoy! ~ MH

Good point!! Thanks for the reminder. I did start to get that feeling as I watched them more - like this is just their normal family dynamic, even if it is super messed up lol.

There is another phase of the exam that the examiners know of that we just have to discover along the way. Basically it's like... one final test in a way. But it's a test that depends on the individual to figure out. It's not something that can be done simply like the rest of the exam. it's like they have taken their final to go onto college courses. If you want to see it that way. They've succeeded on making it to getting the license but there is more to it. And that's all I will say.

2021-05-20 20:12:14 +0000 UTCyeah seems like there is always some twist during all the moment of the hunter exam, seems we even get twists here in the final? phase :) Yeah first time I saw this I also though something along the lines that the hunter licens might be fake or provisional , you just have to watch some more and find out :)

Without saying more, as I said there is one element that will change your vision of the world of Hunter X Hunter and that is when you will know what this final exam is. Now you will get into a mini arc where you will learn more about Killua and his family and believe me, you will love Gon even more after that ^^.

Lol and your questions about the hunter exam and why it works the way it does are great questions and you will begin to realize why exactly it works like that eventually. They dont outright explain it but a plot point comes up that basically makes the hunter exam make a lot more sense. Lol
