Kamen Rider Zero-One Others: MetsubouJinrai - reaction & review

WHOA....I mean, I was expecting a really good, fun special that gave us some extra time with the characters. What I never, EVER expected is what we got here. Does someone mind explaining to me WHAT THE HECK JUST HAPPENED?!?!!? I was in shock for quite a bit after watching this lol. But I LOVED it - the villain is so entertaining, it's awesome to see everyone back together again, it presents a legitimately interesting moral dilemma, and I mean....again, just....that ending though. I'm assuming this will be continued in the Vulcan/Valkyrie special??? Who knows!!! What a mind-blowing special! Hope you enjoy!!! ~ MH

2021-05-24 13:14:08 +0000 UTCYes, quite a dark ending since the MassBrain System has taken over our main four Metsuboujinrai gang and became a separate entity that imprisons them in one body. The next Zero-One Others spin-off with Vulcan and Valkyrie will be the two Fuwa and Yaiba will have to find away to save the four Humagear but if those two can't save them, then they might have to put them down if it comes to it, it's unfortunate that we have to wait until Fall 2021 to find out. And yes the Genm presidents special with Gai and Kuroto Dan will take place after Vulcan & Valkyrie from what I heard, but it didn't spoil the previous special.

Interesting perspective about Lyon Arkland, I can definitely see how he got what was coming to him, and you're right that technically it wasn't specifically the characters that did it. Oh good, I'm so glad I got that right! Very cool that the actor is Canadian!!! I know the accent well since my American accent is thiiiiiccck when I try to speak Japanese haha!!!! >.<

Ah yes, I have heard about everything going on with the C&D's on fansub groups! :( Finding torrents just got a lot harder.....if you have any suggestions on where to watch the next Saber, I'd love it if you let me know! Fingers crossed that this isn't the end of fansubs!!!!!

2021-05-16 13:16:51 +0000 UTCA very good movie but a dark ending, the Mass Brain system malfunctioned which is why it went berserk and destroyed the host bodies. It looks like the second half of this is going to the berserk Metsuboujinrai Mass Brain system vs Vulcan and Valkyrie, sadly that movie doesn't come out til near the end of 2021. P.s. while it wasn't Metsuboujinrai that killed Lyon Arkland and actually the berserk Mass Brain system, I still think he deserved to die at their hand considering all the bad deeds he's done. Also you're spot on with Lyon's voice his accent is not native Japanese as he's not Japanese but Canadian, hence why he sounds wooden when speaking Japanese sometimes.

Not to say it was bad, it was a really good movie, but I'm not used to rider movies having a dark ending xD But apparently, we'll get a Yaiba and Fuwa movie/special too and maybe they're gonna continue where this movie left off. Oh and btw have you heard that TV Nihon and other subgroups have gotten a letter from Toei? I'm really concerned about Kamen Rider and Sentai fansubs :/
