My Hero Academia 5x04 "Make It Happen, Shinso!" - Reaction & Review
Added 2021-04-18 11:45:35 +0000 UTCHey everyone! Here's my next reaction to MHA! It was really interesting to highlight the differences in raw power and the kind of strategy that the classes have been training for!
I was really proud of everyone, and to be honest, it's hard not to admire the 1-B team here, they really held their own! In the end, it was that communication breakdown that they just couldn't get around - an important lesson on the importance of teamwork! Also, I was impressed by Shinso for picking up so quickly on how to maneuver the situation. Of course, Froppy and Kaminari shined with this too, but that's no surprise now is it! Onto the next battle, yay!!! Can't wait to see! Enjoy! ~ MH

Right, they have that in common lol! Ohhh nice, thanks for pointing that out about Beast. Oh my gosh, I loved Jackie Chan Adventures as a kid!!! Wow, didn't realize how many kids there were from other countries! Very cool!

Hinryu Rin, Dragon Shroud, is the 3rd student not from Japan. He is from china. His Ai-yah, reminds me of the Uncle in "Jackie Chan's Adventures" Cartoon, if you have seen it. Pony Tsunotori is born in America. And Our "Cant stop Twinkling", Aoyama Yuga is born in france.

2021-04-18 18:16:12 +0000 UTCA quick primer on the Class 1-B students... Ibara (Vine) was much more saintly and angelic in the Sports Festival, claiming that she didn't want to hurt people. She has stayed religious, but developed a harsher mindset during her training that is probably better suited for the world of heroics. And Gevaudan is a town in France with a famous legend about a werewolf - the Gevaudan Beast - that the Wolfman character in the old black-and-white movies was based on. As for Rin (Dragon Shroud) we saw him in the Sports Festival briefly. At the time, he could only coat his hands in scales, which he used to attack. He has developed quite a lot since then.

2021-04-18 15:02:27 +0000 UTCWhat I really liked was that they had Kaminari - who is an idiot, and who they even had Shinso make fun of last episode - come up with a good plan on the fly. Not only does it show AGAIN that Kaminari would rather sacrifice himself for his friends than try to take the glory, but Shinso realized that even someone as dumb as Kaminari has gained experience, and he was forced to be impressed. And of course, his heart has already been thawed a bit by Kaminari's and Tsu's warm friendship. Kaminari was the first (other than Kirishima) to try to be friends with Bakugo, and Tsu was willing to be friends with Mineta despite his obnoxiousness. Shinso never stood a chance at being stand-offish with them. (Sorry for the long post, but I love this arc and the character stuff they do!)
