Let's Talk about Anime!!!!
Added 2021-03-26 13:43:55 +0000 UTCHey everyone!!!! ^_^ Welcome back....I am back today to discuss some stuff with you guys about my next series!!! So, I learned recently that the next episode of Attack on Titan is the LAST ONE!!! :O For some reason I thought this would be like a 24 ep season haha. So that means it's time to discuss what my next series will be! (Don't worry, I'm still doing My Hero Academia too - it's going to replace The Promised Neverland as my second "Current Anime" on Plus Ultra).
As you guys know, my "Current Anime" tier includes a few current anime (still airing or aired in the last year), and one current toku series. With only MHA and Kamen Rider Saber left on my plate after AoT ends, this opens up the spot for another series!
Now, there's a few ways to do this.
1) I hear Vinland Saga is coming back in April (maybe?) and I could book that as the next one, since I reacted to season 1. That being said I actually have no confirmed date for when it starts so it may or may not be actually starting then haha.
2) We could leave "Current Anime" as it is and I could start off with season 1 of Haikyuu since I am dying to see it and I know many of you are as well haha. It would start on the $10 tier and then come to the $5 tier a matter of weeks later :)
3) There could be a call for recommendations/suggestions and then a poll afterwards to pick a totally different Current Anime for me to watch!

2021-03-27 13:28:43 +0000 UTCI’d love to watch you react to Dr Stone or Steins Gate. I can’t remember if you ever watched Steins Gate but it is in my opinion one of the best anime I’ve ever watched. But Dr Stone is another huge favorite of mine and the 2nd season is airing now.

For some other recommendations, you might've already seen Madoka since it's pretty popular but if not it's a great series to react to, also Revue Starlight and Symphogear are both really fun magical girl anime that are definitely worth a watch.

But if you want to leave it until closer to the next season's release so there is no gap between them, then I second Jocelyn Thompson's comment in suggesting Gen:Lock. Not only is it full of the same kind of greatness Rwby has, it is REALLY slick and professional (the voice cast is SO STAR-STUDDED!) and it is actually one of my favorite sci-fi shows of all time.

But, i take the chance to place certain anime that I like : - Gatchaman Crowds a series of superheroes deeper than it seems with to my taste, one of the best heroine of japanimation. Two seasons of 12 episodes each. - HINAMATSURI If you want fun and touching at the same time, a bit like a Mob Psycho. 12 episodes too. - Saga of Tanya the Evil The story of a little girl, highly placed in a German army from an alternate reality. Despite what I just wrote, the show isn't that bad, Tanya is a really good character and is voiced in original version by Aoi Yuki (Tsuyu in My Hero Academia). And my always number one "Mai Hime", but like i said once, the show is not in streaming it seems to me... So it would be more DVD or BR.

2021-03-26 14:54:01 +0000 UTCDefinitely recommend Violet Evergarden or Miss Kobyashi's Dragon Maid (it's a little excessive with certain character designs but the story is really sweet I promise) if you haven't already seen them. But if you think it will be easier or just better, I'm happy with Haikyuu as well!

That its hard to pick something. And its a real pitty you have seen G.o.T, TWD and Doctor Who already.. but oh well cant be helped.. Dont know about these though. If you have seen these or not. °Made In Abyss. °Code Geass. °Voilet Evergarden. °Dororo. Anyway. My pick for a new show is Haikyuu, since you wanne see that anyway right.

For a current anime, I'd recommend "Bofuri: I don't want to get hurt so I'll max out my defense", (season one of 12 eps wrapped this March and there will be a s2) or "Re:Zero - starting life in another world" which just finished its season 2 the other day.

2021-03-26 14:11:55 +0000 UTCI'm so torn I wish there was a way for you to magically react to two series the time I got reincarnated as a slime and Dr Stone, season 2 had recently come out for both and they are so good but I have a feeling if you put those two on a poll slime might win and then there's jujustu kaisen which has just been mind blowing any way and I'm just saying if your adding a kamen rider series consider build, so much happening so little time

One anime I would like you to see one day, is one I was curious about just due to the name but it surprised me in a positive way: "Is it wrong to try to pick up girls in a dungeon?" a.k.a Danmachi 3 seasons so far and I think there'll be a 4th season, each season is only about 12-13 episodes long

2021-03-26 13:58:17 +0000 UTCI don't know if this recommendation/suggestion will ever get enough support from fellow patrons to get onto a poll since it's very underrated despite being able to compete with stuff like Naruto and One Piece back when it still aired, but I've mentioned this anime before. Katekyo Hitman Reborn. I'm fine with anything you choose to watch, but I figured I would get my personal favorite and suggestion out there.

I started reading the manga after season 1 and the next season will be one of the best arcs of any show is wit can pull it off. Next season will be waaaaaay slower paced and far more focused on the characters
